Ben Hall Motor Inn

I was thrilled to find there was a toaster so I could make my own grain sourdough bread into crunchy toast to have with my crunchy peanut butter. I don't like UHT milk but I always carry my own fresh milk for my cup of tea. Very pleased to find an iron and ironing board so I could iron my crushed dress. The Locally made biscuits were delicious. Your domestic ladies were very helpful - please thank them for me. I was going to leave a note but couldn't find any blank paper in the drawer - maybe you could supply a couple of sheets of blank paper and a pen.

Everything was perfect for me

All I wanted after a long day's drive was a clean, quiet, cool, and secure room. And that's exactly what I got. The motor inn is set a little back from the Newell Hwy, and is remarkably quiet. The owners/managers were so friendly and helpful - would absolutely stay again. Loved the smart tv and decent tea/coffee facilities in the room. I stayed in other motor inns along the trip and Ben Hall by far was the best value for money

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly They were very understanding when we left early due to family situation Would recommend them to family Probably would be nice if they had a pool but local pool is very close if families wanted it

Only couldn’t have charger near bed as no power point over there Our bed was a little close to one wall so getting up at night was a little awkward as pictures on wall didn’t want to knock them down Couldn’t move bed over as side tables connected to the wall

David was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Room very clean and comfortable. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Good place to stay for a stop off point.

Rooms not very soundproof could hear neighbours talking and their alarm and phone ringing. And noise when the used the bench top. All neighbours like me went to bed by 9pm so it wasn't an issue. This is a stop off point so most people go to bed early and get up early to be on their way.

It was nice to stay at, it was convenient to most of the places there. Everything worked and can relax and watch some TV after work. Nice to be able to turn on the electric blanket on a cold night.

Lighting was old school tube lighting but was fine.

Excellent service by the owners and made it comfortable and easy for my stay doing arvo and night shift. Well organised with prepared breakfast and was will you go out their way to make my stay even more better . Friendly professional kind owners and was an excellent location from my work location. I would recommend this place to stay over night to anyone travelling through. Thank you guys and it was very appreciated 😀

Very comfortable bed, hot water for showers and a short walk into town / pub for a great meal at the Post Office Hotel.

Parking for our room not the best set up. Very awkward to manuaver into back corner. Broken glass jug in our fridge.

The hosts we're very friendly and helpful with information on where to get a good meal. Although close to town it was very quiet, bed was comfortable, the room was quite spacious and the price very reasonable. Would definitely return if passing through again.

Property was in excellent condition, both inside and out. The owners have taken great care to ensure the comfort of guests. The property exceeded our expectations in every way.

The owners of this motel are very friendly and went out of their way to make it an enjoyable stay. The advised us on arrival that heating in the room was quite old and noisy so he placed another type of heater in the room which was on for our arrival which keep the room very warm and cosy. The motel was clean and comfortable and perfect for our overnight stop. There is a nearby wetlands area that is also worth a walk around before your onward journey.
