Nice modern room, comfy bed, good size room.

Abrupt middle age lady at reception. Did the big sigh and tut tut at our request to have a ground floor room. Reluctantly fulfilled our request with more sighing. Was still snapping at her male colleague as we left the office. He was very friendly but obviously under her command!

Comfy bed and friendly staff. This is our midway point between Toowoomba and Melbourne, so we stayed twice. We preferred the room we got the second time as it was similar to the pictures on Booking.com . I didn't like the wheelchair access room as the shower facilities has a shower curtain (maybe it's just a shower curtain phobia I have - they always seem to latch onto you and it makes you feel dirty). Parking was good for us as there weren't that many people there when we stayed, so we could park the car where we can see it. Still the best place we could find to stay after trying many other places in surrounding towns on the way down and back.

There must be a drainage issue. Firstly getting the car over the grate at the front without causing damage to your car is a challenge. Secondly the smell of sewage in both rooms was unmistakable and the first thing I had to fix each time on my arrival. Privacy in the shower may be an issue to some people as the frosted louvred windows face the other rooms and car park.

Motel is a just a few mins drive outside the main town. really well presented rooms, loved the touch of corrugated iron used which gives the place a lovely rustic but homely feel. Room is well equipped with crockery, cutlery, toaster, kettle, microwave and probably one of THE best fridges I’ve ever experienced in a motel room.

Sad that there is no food service available on weekends. It was okay for us as we had our own goodies for breakfast but a bit of a trap along with a trip down to a supermarket for the unwary.

The check-in door was locked on arrival, despite being 3:10pm. We had to phone before someone arrived. The ground floor room was clean and fresh, the bed comfortable and the room reasonably quiet, despite the highway location. The bathroom is small but functional with toiletries dispensed from wall mounted bottles. The supply of Hot Water was variable. If you had an early shower, then the water was hot, if you had a late shower (>10:00pm) the water was barely warm. The reverse cycle air conditioner heated the room quickly and quietly. The free WiFi worked adequately with the download speed measured at 7.5mps and upload at 2mps. We stayed two nights on this visit, have stayed four to five times in the past. Breakfast was obtainable from the Motel from 7:30 am. Windscreen washing equipment was supplied in the car park.

The supply of Hot Water was variable. If you had an early shower, then the water was hot, if you had a late shower (>10:00pm) the water was barely warm. Restaurant not open for Dinner

We were very impressed with The Station. The room was a wonderful size, so comfortable, warm and we were pleased with the soundproofing. All facilities were great - clean and modern bathroom and furnishings. Blockout curtains, desk/dining table for 2 and huge comfy armchair. Loved the landscaping which matched the design of the building so well. Staff were super helpful and accommodating. Spotlessly clean. Will definitely be back.

I have stayed here on previous occasions and I am pleased to say this newish motel is maintaining its standards. Clean, modern, comfortable and well equipped. It has also maintained its unique styling them. Staff recommended Bellas in town for Breakfast. Excellent choice!

On the outskirts of the town, so not within walking distance of anything. But also means its relatively quiet.

We loved that we could open the back sliding doors for fresh air , rather then use air-conditioning. The king size comfy bed , size of the room , toaster, microwave and large screened TV. The location was perfect , close to all attractions and town centre . The staff was wonderful . I would recommend it to travellers well done 👏

The bar and restaurant were closed due to covid recovery . The shower had low water pressure and the sliding screen back doors were locked, therefore could not open to sit out in the back garden .

The room was spacious with a contemporary feel. The service was excellent; the manager was very helpful; he even gave us suggestions of good places to eat in town. Parking spots are bigger than usual.

This is not a reflection of the accommodation or the staff, with which we were very satisfied, but rather the lack of updated information on the website regarding the restaurant. We booked specifically because of the advertised restaurant as it was the Easter weekend to find that the restaurant had been closed for eight months.

Loved the room…well set out with plenty of room to move.

The shower screen was very marked with watermarks…I understand the water in certain areas isn’t the best but I also know there are products available to remedy this. The kettle had a lot of calcification which we cleaned with a teaspoon of citric acid and water boiled in the kettle. The toaster and tray were dirty and there was a black comb left on the floor under the luggage rack with a good layer of dust…obviously been there a while.

The ensuite room was very clean, modern, spacious and comfortable. It was well equipped for an overnight (or longer stay) travelling couple with plenty of space to prepare a light snack or cold breakfast of cereal and toast, Particularly liked the side table for two to sit and enjoy eating, drinking and playing a game of chess on. The outdoor patio was also very comfortable for enjoying an evening drink and it was surprisingly bug free. A really nice stay after having stayed in five less enjoyable places during our road trip. A nice touch was the availability of a car wind screen cleaner outside the room door.
