Parkes Federation Motel

Shout out to the federation parkes motel. Fantastic dog friendly room Little Moss had a ball, back yard was nice for raining mornings and the giant park across the road is great to explore and to free the built up energy.. To my surprise the location of the motel was quiet even with the train station close.. Close to town 18mins walk to Cooke park and service man’s club, Room was nice, size was good for “little moss” create and for us with out tripping over each other.. Has a nice size fridge with ice trays filled for your arrival, I would highly recommend. Parkes federation motel in welcome st Parkes nsw..

Good location. Surprisingly quiet even though it is right near the highway. Friendly reception when we arrived. It was a very small room but they have made it look nice with crisp white sheets and decorative touches. It was cosy and comfortable. Very close to shops, restaurants and supermarkets. There is a microwave in the room, and also plates, dishes and cutlery.

The shower is installed at a bit of a funny angle and the water pressure was a little low, but my initial concern about this was soon allayed - it was fine. The bathroom is extremely small, but for one night it was quite OK.

It’s clean, it’s comfy and what we loved the most was the lovely staff named Kara. She was lovely, she sms and called us a few times because we arrived late. She even turned on the heater for us so after our long drive from Gold coast we arrived to a lovely warm room. Both my kids found the motel ‘cute’. That was a nice stay, highly recommended place to stay at Parkes.

The carpark could be a little tight but we managed.

genuine helpful customer service, room we initially given smelled overwhelmingly of cigarettes and we were given an alternative room immediately with an apology. issue clearly wasn’t motels fault and issue resolved. centrally located. clearly in process of renovating which didn’t negatively impact stay.

from exterior appears to be basic motel mostly used by tradies and workers however well presented and comfortable.

To find a motel with a pet friendly room was amazing. It made travel so much easier without stress. The management and staff at the motel were exceptional. The rooms were tidy and comfortable with expected amenities. Bathrooms while dated in appearance were clean and functional with good water pressure on shower!

Great hotel, HUGE comfy bed, super clean with lovely newly renovated bathroom. Annie was fantastic to deal with. Highly recommend.

It is near a main truck road so be prepared for truck noises at all hours.

Room clean and well set up with all the necessary appliances. The location was quiet and the bed perfect for a good sleep. Staff contact limited but cordial and efficient. A brisk but reasonable walk to town, and a good assortment of eateries A sound choice for the single traveller.

All worked well so no complaints.

Clean and tidy rooms. Water pressure was fantastic and bed was very comfortable. Friendly staff and easy walk to town. Everything I needed for my trip. Will definitely be back!

Although we arrived late Tahlee was there to greet us with a friendly smile. The room was clean and accommodated our doggos. Just a short walk to town for a meal. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely everything. Like honestly this place was amazing has ice ready in freezers bottles of water in fridge plates cutely microwave like anything you need it's Absolutely amazing and I will be back
