The location is terrific in terms of being able to access the city and other locations. The staff are always friendly and try very hard to provide the best possible service to clients. Guest facilities are generally quiet. Availability of pool. Excellent buffet breakfast in keeping with other hotels of this caliber. The welcome pack that was provided to us was a nice touch.

Cutting costs by not providing bars of soap in the bathroom and ridiculously poor quality toilet paper. Bought our own from nearby convenience store. Room prices were over the top even understanding the time of year--on the verge of price gouging. Erratic restaurant hours and limited availability of meals were disappointing.

The location is fantastic. There is a bus stop outside the front door! If you like walking you can easily walk to the famous Sydney Fish Market and into the CBD. It is very close to all the cafes and restaurants on King St. Once you get the hang of the public transport you can get to just about anywhere from here. The rooms are spacious and well kept. The staff are friendly. I enjoyed using the outdoor swimming pool. The under cover parking is expensive but necessary and very convenient if you are travelling by car. This was my second stay here and I will definitely stay here again.

The in room airconditioning wouldn't turn off and made an annoying noise all night. It was easy to adjust the temperature and I didn't notice the noise during the day.

Perfect for attending RPA hospital. Room was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Very close to local cafes.

I had the need to keep extending my stay. Each time I did so I gave the receptionist my card to pay. Each time I went back to extend again there was always money outstanding. Make sure you get a receipt after every payment. Even on my last day I owed them money. Parking was very awkward and ridiculously expensive when considering the cost of the rooms. The breakfast was always lukewarm.

A good hotel with very comfortable room and fabulous bed in a fairly good location for a specific trip to that neighborhood. The breakfast offered seems excellent. Room with fridge and excellent AC. Great shower.

Not the greatest location in Sydney. Paid parking spaces onsite but not easy access and require caution and quite a bit of maneuvering. No a la carte breakfast- Breakfast options are either the full buffet breakfast or a simple plain cup of coffee, but nothing in between.

I stayed at Rydges Camperdown some years ago and was not impressed but now renovated it has made a world of difference. Bathrooms are small but functional and rooms are spacious. Dinner was very good both food and service

Breakfast was very disappointing. I had continental only arriving about 9 am to find only two croissants and no other pastries so I had an English muffin which was hard and stale. Both apricot and strawberry jam jars were empty whilst two staff chatted behind the bar. Coffee from machine was undrinkable and espresso not available without extra charge.

We stayed here as we participated in City2Surf, the hotel was in a great spot and easy for public transport as the bus departed from across the road. The room was big and tidy. Coffee and breakfast from the buffet was also great!

The only thing I would have changed would have been that there was no toaster or microwave to make a meal in the morning before our race, in saying this, the room didn't have the facilities to store these items. The staff were kind enough to offer their lunch room microwave should we have needed it.

The room was a good size with two very comfortable beds. The bus stopped out the front so it is very easy to go into the city, or to the closest train station, or just up the road to literally dozens of cafes and restaurants if you don't feel like walking.

The floor in my room wasn't vacuumed the first two days and I had to ask for it to be done! If I'm paying over $350- per night, I don't expect to have to ask to have my room cleaned properly! Overall it is over priced, but so is the whole of Sydney. Having said that, I would definitely stay here again.

Always stay here at this time of the year, late Feb early March and the service is good and the location is fantastic, close to cafes and restaurants and local pubs. The breakfast is very good, we often go to a cafe up the road but still its there and has great choices and well priced.

Nothing to complain about really, its always nice and comfortable and the beds are new and really nice to sleep on. Easy and fast check in and nothing is ever any trouble, we even often get an early check in.

The rooms are very comfortable, the property is maintained in a very clean condition, staff are helpful. The property is located in a very convenient position.

One day during my stay the cleaner left rubbish on the small bench near the kettle and glasses, the rubbish included used tissues and an empty tissue box. The same day the used towels and bathmat that I left in the shower for collection were not removed.

Everything was good and most of all was impressed that there were two hand towels each and face washers. These days they are often not provided in hotels. The lighting was great in the bathroom which is also unusual even in the five star modern hotels. Best of all there was a window that opened!

Only one thing - the shower water was a bit sparse, maybe there were a lot of people showering at the same time.
