Studio 8 Residences - Adults Only

I liked having the small kitchenette, a microwave is perfect if you don’t have the time to go out for breakfast. There’s enough bowls, plates and cutlery for two along with supplies to wash the dishes. The bathroom had ample shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Makes a huge difference when other places supply a small bottle and there’s two people. Having a shower cap was welcome as well. Although the property is located just off a main road, it was quiet. We had a view from the city from the balcony and the property is located next to a school which again, keeps weekend noise to a minimum. Located just across the road from a shopping centre, perfect if you need to grab a few things and not far from Accor stadium for our concert.

The property was great, we only had a small issue with the lights in the beginning and our door. These were attended to straight away, which was greatly appreciated.

Amazingly clean and new, delightful view from 4th floor over trees and towards the CBD, VERY friendly and helpful staff (Federico). The room is cozy but plenty big enough for a couple and after all, it is Adults-Only. There is a medium-size fridge with freezer not just a bar fridge, the kitchenette has toaster, jug, microwave, all brand-new, with more facilities downstairs. Lock-up parking cost only $15 per night. The neo-sixties foyer is dazzlingly smick and a pleasure to relax in. Two Persian Restaurants around the corner.

The sign pointing in to the carpark entrance was easy to miss and would be hard to see after dark. I don't know if Council regulations would permit it to be outlined in LEDS ...

Spacious room and very clean. Had a balcony, nice tv and good air conditioning. Bed was very comfortable and block out curtains were an added bonus for a sleep in. Very quiet and secure parking for additional $15 per night. Bonus coffee voucher for before 6pm on arrival day or morning of departure. Great idea! Room rate was discounted when I stayed there.

Inability to get lift from carpark to reception area without having swipe card. Only a short walk around though. Check in first and then go back and get your luggage 👍

The room was small but suited a solo traveller well. Good location for accessing the Top Ryde shopping centre while has good dining options. Parking was convenient with good lift access. I didn't use the shared facility but it would.be superb for a family with big communal space.

The first room I was given smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke that I needed to be given another room. I'm grateful another was available because it was really unlivable. Smoking is allowed on the balconies so they're relying on people closing the door. Unfortunately the smell gets into everything. The man on the desk was absolutely wonderful and personally checked the replacement room for me. I don't think the other worker was impressed but I think a smoke-free room is a standard feature in most places.

I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the room as well as the kitchenette which I wasn't expecting. It had a decent sized fridge which was really handy. The location is excellent being right near public transport and central to so many places. Having cafes and restaurants nearby was a real bonus. I loved the fact that it was adults only as I have been to many places with screaming kids running up and down the corridors. This was a big plus for me as well as the fact the it's so quiet inside the building.

I'm sure it was a misunderstanding but I would have loved a double bed. I walked in to find a single bed. I haven't slept in one since I was a child. The staff did try and find a room with a double bed but they were booked out. Next time, I will ensure that it has a double bed.

Location is fabulous. Balcony extra nice. Room is comfortable generally and bed is always good. Shower head efficient and towels good. Unit was clean and we always find cleanliness to be good when we visit.

The balcony in this particular room faces a building next door with a Fluro strip light which stays on all night. Sitting in the balcony becomes unpleasant. No solution to this of course but wish there was. Maybe the building next door could put a shade over the light so it shades down only. A very small dislike really.

Great location on clean, dependable, easy-to-use public transportation (30-40 mins to CBD). Across the street from Top Ryde Shops, a vertical shopping center with numerous eating choices, grocery stores and more. Staff very eager to be of assistance. Room was well appointed, great balcony for morning coffee. Plenty of auxiliary amenities: laundry, large kitchen, outdoor grilling area, indoor lounge with Foosball, rooftop gathering area, etc. The entire hotel is very modern and very clean. And, they replenish the complimentary biscuits (cookies) every day.

Everything was exceptional!

Close location to shops and restaurants. Room was cleaned daily with topping up of resources (soaps, tea, coffee etc). Room air conditioner was great as days were hot. Shower rose was high enough for tall people.

When I booked I was quoted a price. I went to check to upgrade my room and after exploring the website. When I returned to my booking the price ()for the same room) had increased by AUD98.00. I reported this to Studio 8 but was just fobbed off stating that I must complain to Booking.com. This was a pity as the accommodation was good.

Reception staff were friendly & accommodating. We'd asked for a quiet room and were given one on the side of the hotel which was ideal (don't expect privacy on the balcony though- you stare across a building roof to the balconies of a unit complex). Room was clean & reasonably spacious. We felt very comfortable here - although we were really only here to sleep! The rainwater head shower was great, plenty hot with excellent water pressure. Location close to shops & restaurants was ideal - although we didn't need them, as we were visiting friends We will definitely stay here again when we visit our friends again.

A pod coffee machine would have been very welcome; I hate instant coffee.

Beautiful fit out; calm space; well appointed bathroom and mini kitchenette with full sized fridge. Twin room was small but well laid out and very functional - had almost everything we needed (except the bowls were too small to be useful and I don’t think there was a sharp knife in there). The balcony was a decent size, and had a beautiful outlook over eucalyptus trees and a small school. Location was super convenient- right near buses and top ryde shopping centre which has just about everything you could need. It’s situated partway between the city and the Northwest which was perfect for us. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby too. Free coffee in the morning was a nice touch. For longer stays there is a full kitchen and shared ‘lounge’ area as well as bbq and outdoor dining area; and a rooftop terrace (sadly it rained while we were there but this would be amazing in good weather). The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and made our stay very easy. I would absolutely stay again.

Bowls in the room were way too small to be useable; and a sharp knife (eg to cut tomato or cheese etc) would have been useful in the room too. At times you can smell cigarette smoke on the balcony if your neighbour is a smoker, but it didn’t come inside the room. The gate access for parking is a little bit awkward- needing a 3 point turn to drive up and swipe and then have to turn and reposition to actually go into the gate without hitting it. Those are literally the only bad points- everything else was pretty flawless!
