Meriton Suites World Tower, Sydney

The views, we couldn't stop looking. The front desk people were awesome, they let us check in early. We had just gotten off a cruise we had lots of luggage, it was so nice to leave it and then we toured the city. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms had shampoo and conditioner, whatever we needed they brought to us. Even coffee and cream! The location was excellent for getting around.

Room 7001: THE VIEW WAS AMAZING. The apartment was so spacious. The photos do not do it justice in regards to the view and size. We were very comfortable as a family of 4. The beds were very comfortable. The location was great with many food options right downstairs in World Square. There is a Coles there as well. The Garden on the corner of the little laneway does great coffee and breakfast.

- The parking was quite complicated to figure out first go. - No housekeeping until the 3rd / 7th days … for the price this should 100% be included daily. - The rooms were quite worn in the kitchen and bathrooms. - Our coffee machine didn’t work - The heater didn’t go higher than 25 and I don’t feel like it ever got to temperature. It is quite cold up high with the big windows, the rooms need to be able to heat properly. Especially with children.

The location is perfect for anyone wanting to explore Sydney. As a previous local, I knew this ahead of time! The view from the 62nd floor was nothing short of spectacular. My 5 year old could spend the whole day just watching. Rooms were very comfy. Great beds, great bedding, great shower, great kitchen and laundry. I didn't watch tv so can't comment on that though.

While we were there, the AC in the entire building stopped working. What that meant for us was that one half of the apartment was freezing cold and one half was boiling hot! Not the staff's fault, but it didn't work for our entire stay. They compensated us by giving us free parking for one car, but I do believe it should've been more considering we spent more than $2000 there. Staff gave us standing fans and extra bedding to help.

Massive corner apartment bigger than our house! Very clean, best panoramic floor to ceiling views from every room, great kitchen, incredibly comfortable beds and pillows, big clean bathrooms with a spa bath. Nice big dining table, 4 big Smart tvs one in each room to cast anything from Netflix/Disney/ Stan/ prime etc. Massive fridge and freezer to put grocery’s in - Coles only 75 m away. The kids had a ball with the smart lift and rarely had to share the pool or spa with anyone else. Literally in the middle of everything within easy flat walking distance- china town, town hall, hundreds of restaurants and bars, cinemas, Capitol theatre, darling harbour etc etc.

Absolutely cannot find fault in this apartment.

From January 31, 2023 thru January 28, 2023, a friend and I stayed in a two bedroom two bath suite on the 67th floor. We were in Sydney for a 16 day holiday visit to celebrate my birthday. The hotel is itself is ideally located within the city. Our suite, which had the most amazing views of Sydney, was clean and spacious with a wonderful modern design and layout. The desk and cleaning staff was very welcoming and helpful. We especially appreciated our interactions with Billy, the desk manager, and his colleagues Lydia and Scott. The hotel's primary amenities are the pool and the gym. Both were well maintained and clean.

There were only two cautionary notes from our 16 day stay. The hotel is a wonderful destination for families visiting Sydney, so the pool tends to be dominated by kids all hours of the day. Not exactly a relaxing environment. Also, for such a large building, the hotel only has 4 elevators. At least one of the elevators was undergoing maintenance during our stay, which caused long delays going both up and down. Also, the elevator maintenance work began each morning at 8am. In our suite, we were awaken most mornings by the sound of a jack hammer, so sleeping in late was not an option. Jack hammer aside, we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would recommend it to anyone visiting Sydney.

We liked the location with shopping and food outlets so close. Very spacious unit quite and comfortable with everything you need at your fingertips

TBH our check-in was well over the time and after travelling all day it wasn't how we saw arriving in Sydney. I know things happen but it was a long time to sit in a foyer tired and hungry. Also the lounge (in unit) was a bit hard to sit on so wasn't relaxing. We also had a unit for someone with disabilities as the bathroom had a lower shower which didn't suit the fact we were 3 adults (tall at that) all trying to use the ensuite.

We had an amazing experience staying at Meriton Suite World Tower. Locations are walking distance. No need to pay for transportation every time we go out of the hotel and stroll around the city. Rooms had enough space for 2 people and beds are comfy. The panoramic view from the window is absolutely amazing especially during sunrise and sunset. Will recommend this hotel :0

Must have to put on some locks in the toilet and bathroom since 4 people are sharing the toilet and bathroom.

front office check in counter staff Shld have asked if we were 1st time into Sydney and provided additional information about the happenings in Sydney - example Vivid Sydney drones show on wed and Sunday which we missed. staffs were just merely checking us in and made us do payment. no other information given. even when we validate our carpark coupon daily there was no attempt of small talk and asking where we are going and if they can help us etc

The view from the 75th floor was stunning. Location was central and simple to access. Bag drop/storage was helpful and without any sense of being rushed or trying to kick us out.

The three rooms were slightly strangely organised, with heaps of living space and two relatively cramped rooms. The elevator system is really weird. It was slow going to get an elevator most days and, if it was full, just constant stopping. Not really a complaint, but it was pretty funny that Meriton prides itself on 'best price direct' but I found a price online that they couldn't match!

My daughters and I stayed in the three bedroom suite on the first weekend in July appartments we’re in a Great location for what we had planned for our stay. The facilities were excellent great sized rooms well equiped kitchen nice furnishing and exceptionally comfortable bedding , however there was dried up what appeared to be vomit on the curtains in the main bedroom and the shower In the second bathroom was very mouldy What a shame this let the place down would give it a second chance though

The parking was a little difficult to work out not clearly signed especially when checking in at busy times car park was full and had to drive in and out a couple of times waiting for a parking spot.
