Meriton Suites Kent Street, Sydney

Loved having a washer / dryer in the room. Very nice space in the room with a kitchenette that had everything we needed for the stay.

The lift was slow at times, but this is not a complaint. The location was good, considering the price, but a little bit of a walk to public transport.

Nice & clean, beautiful views of the city, the studio suite was equipped with everything we needed!

Walls are paper thin, I could be talking in a normal tone and someone outside the room will hear it.

The staff was extremely friendly and keen to help. The access to the building was very safe, and the position was also great to go around Sydney. The room was nice with very good beds.

The cleaning can be improved, both in terms of accuracy and time frame. We didn't manage to have our room cleaned because they came at 6 pm in the evening. Also, we had to ask to change our first room because there was a bad smell inside. The connection to the TV was also slow and not working very well. A couple of times, it disconnected, and we weren't able to reconnect.

The hotel is perfectly located, right in the CBD, walking distance to a number of not-to-miss spots in Sydney including St Mary's Cathedral, the Royal Botanical Gardens, the Opera House and Barangaroo. The hotel is also incredibly close to a number of shopping and food options, as well as Chinatown and Darling Square. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.

It required a little patience to get to and from your room as the hotel has a limited number of elevators for a high number of rooms.

it’s good location, the staffs are friendly and helpful. it’s clean . Feel like home with all the cooking equipments in the kitchen. love the sauna & swimming pool & spa.

there’re some bad smell at the drain in the laundry room . The shower floor in few corners a bit moldy. The bathroom sink a bit block , need to clean up . thanks

Excellent location. Easy walk to public transportation, restaurants, shopping and grocery stores. Spacious one bedroom suite with comfortable bed, plenty of closet space. Enjoyed the full kitchen and made use of insuite laundry. Accommodating staff.

The tile around the bathtub/shower was moldy and in need of a good scrub. Washcloths were not available, only hand and bath towels. There are no paper towels. Given the price point, a few more amenities like body lotion and makeup removal wipes would go a long way.

Soo cool ! A a lovely apartment, big room separate to the lounge kitchen, view and balcony facing out to the west so gets the sunset. (Next time will try and stay in one with opera house view and go up a bit higher.) It was lovely to have a decent sized apartment with laundry facilities. Loved all the little restaurants down below and went out for dinner there - so very handy - litterally a 10 minute walk down to darling harbour and quick light train ride to Circular Quay.

I would have liked a map on the wall showing where we were in relation to everything but we worked it out eventually

Location is fantastic, out the door and walk to most things (depending on fitness), or you can jump on the light rail which is a great way to get area town. Apartment was awesome, the bed was comfy and I loved the balcony, city lights in the evening are beautiful.

I wasn't too keen on the lifts and waiting around for them, but I guess this is how things are these days with technology so not a major complaint, just don't be in too much of a hurry when heading out. There are signs advising to allow time for the lifts.

Very centrally located behind George St Cinema area, easy acess to trams, food and the movies, etc, the room i was given was a studio, on the18th floor, small but very clean, probably good for a couple at most though i was on my own. Good service from staff at check also

The room i was given had no view except from the building next door which was a bit of a let down, also the toilet being right next to the shower is a bit of an issue, though obviously built that way, could definitely cause some problems getting in and out of showers and with excess water etc
