Cooks Endeavour Motor Inn

I travelled to the Tweed area to visit my dad who was staying in the Tweed Hospital . This motel was a great location just one street from the hospital and across the street from shopping centre . The room had everything needed for a comfortable stay and super comfy bed ! Needed to stay an extra day , accommodated not a problem . Convenient parking at front door and kitchenette a bonus . Would definitely recommend 👍

By no means any fault of the owners of motel but had a terribly noisy problem guest in room Next door . Upon bringing to their attention they handled it very well and moved me to a quiet room right away from them .

Neat, clean room with all the facilities we required. The operators were always eager to provide assistance to us with anything we needed. The operators have adopted a philosophy of operating the motel in an environmentally sustainable manner, and have done so without sacrificing any services provided for customers. We'd be very happy to stay there agin in the future.

Nothing.

We used this accommodation as an overnight stop on our way back down the coast. We booked a family room (for 4) and it exceeded our expectations. The room was clean, adequately appointed, good water pressure and comfortable beds. Also, the service from the staff was excellent

As we were there late in the evening and leaving early the next morning, we weren't in a space to try the pool. It wouldn't be fair to point out what we didn't like as nothing popped up.

The location of the motor inn is exceptional. Easy stroll to Coolangatta beach, plenty of restaurants within a short walk. We were able to walk across the road to a shopping complex where all needs are met - Aldi, Coles, chemist and bottle shop.

Bed was squeaky when rolling over at night, however that was only a minor inconvenience. If you have a large car, the car parks are tight.

Close to the shops and very quiet.

Would like to have a tea towel to dry the dishes. I had to just wash them and left to dry. As a suggestion, I would like to see breakfasts come back and offered to guests. We noticed there are not many places opened at 7 - 7.30 for early breakfasts. Went and bought groceries to cook breakfast.

Value for money and location. The managers allowed early access to the room, which was helpful for us. The rooms were very clean and tidy and very good facilities.

The bed was hard and not enough warm bedding for the bed during winter, although there was a blanket available. There was no kitchen towel to dry crockery etc, just would have been helpful.

Great location just off the main road close to local shops and attractions. Room was clean and tidy had everything we needed for our 2 day stay, air con in working order 😊 Kids loved the heated pool, staff were lovely very friendly.

Minor thing in comparison to how great our stay was but could do with some new towels or fabric softener they were quite hard and scratchy.

Stayed for 3 days. Room well equipped for long stay, modern and fresh. Parking outside door, but tight fit for our Commodore. Single level style with own aircon which we now actively seek in travel motels to ensure minimum Covid exposure risk. Friendly staff. Close to everything that is on offer in Coolangatta. Hidden gem is early morning walk beside the river to the Anchorage

Tight parking spots when full could be issue for large cars.

Central position to places we wanted to visit and short walk from the bus stop. The owners have a beautiful cat named Lily and she is very friendly.

Homeless people camped at another business behind the Hotel This was something that was out of the Hotel control, but the owner said he would keep an eye out for them and would ask them to move on. But they didn’t come back.

The mattress on the queen bed was to die for. We pay a lot for our own mattresses at home, like $2k+ and they’re pretty good. But whatever we slept on was utterly amazing. Rest of the place was good, sanitary, clean, all as expected. Did I tell you about the mattress? So friggin awesome.

There’s nothing to complain about here. Like it’s a motor-inn. If you know what a motor-inn is you won’t be disappointed. Don’t come here thinking there’s round the clock 24 hour room service.
