It is just gorgeous. The decor and styling is beautiful. Super clean. well fitted out with amazing attention to detail. From the lovely soaps, shampoo, Byron Bay coffee bags and teas. Plus it’s dog friendly.

Absolutely nothing.

what’s not to like, the colours make you feel so calm, it was clean and fresh, it’s way more than you could possibly need for a one night sleep over, the front window opened up like a car bonnet so I could sit at the bar and enjoy my drink and watch nature, I felt like I was in a different country. the shampoo conditioner and Soaps are amazing, and from what I can tell maybe locally produced, who ever renovated this place into what it is now is a very thoughtful and capable person or group. when I told my family locally and away they all knew the property, honestly… just wow. I’ll be telling everyone to go here. I could go on and on but it’s the perfect little place to stay, if you want to sit and have food and a wine or something and feel good about being alive then you should stay here. very very well done and an attractive price. congratulations to them.

outside lights went off at 9:30 pm just when I was starting to relax and enjoy the vibe. and no laundry. I would of stayed if I could wash my clothes. that’s no laundry that I could find: I’m sorry if there is one I could t find it.

The motel has been renovated to a high standard and was clean, comfortable and good for a one-night stay. the shared kitchen area was also a bonus with overall great facilities to make the stay easy.

Although our room was comfortable, there was not a bed side table on both sides of the bed, there was some issue with this as we were advised by the on-site team hopefully it will be replaced soon. We felt also that there was room for a dining table and this would have been an advantage when eating our breakfast etc.

decor was great and was fresh, clean and funky. loved being able to sit and work on the front window bench with window open looking across at the park. great location close to M1 - v easy for a stop over. Great coffee shop close by in Chinderah. staff were very friendly and helpful. loved our stay - best motel we have ever stayed in.

plates in the room are a bit small for a takeaway dinner. cups also too small- we managed to grab a couple of mugs from the main kitchen but they were the only ones. I thought the ‘communal kitchen’ would have more than 1 microwave and a big fridge freezer.

- I just love the recently-renovated retro-nautical design of the entire precinct, down to every little detail has been thought out (couldn't have been cheap!) which I appreciate, coming from an architectural designer. I have a few things I'd suggest to the designs but they'd just be nit-picks and didn't really effect the experience. - The soap, shampoo and conditioners aren't in individual bars and bottles, which is a lot less wasteful than most other places. - Really quite comfortable. Liked the bed and the frame TV.

- The whole place is not particularly child friendly for my toddler, especially the door to the unit doesn't lock when inside so my daughter kept opening it and trying to run onto the road. - The shared 'kitchen' doesn't actually have any facilities the units don't have to cook other than a single microwave. Would have loved an oven, or BBQ or just a stove top to use a frying pan. Kind of pointless to have a separate kitchen that doesn't offer anything to cook food. - The tiles in the bathroom / shower are extremely slippery, especially because the shower doesn't have a door and everything gets wet!

The bedroom and bathroom were large, very clean, comfortable.and had quality amenities. Service staff were excellent.

Noise Location, we knew sitting on a main road it would be noisy, but not as noisy as we expected from a road point of view. The noise came from the building work which was going on behind our room in the adjacent property

I stayed overnight with my daughter while we were on a road trip to Noosa. It was only one night but we both would have loved to stay longer. The room was clean, had everything we needed and we loved the decor. The bed was very comfortable and the beach was so close. We would definitely stay here again.

I wished we could have had more time to enjoy the room - we arrived late and left early. There was nothing we didn't like!

The room was beautiful. Very simple and well thought out. Gave me a “June Motel” vibe if you’ve seen the Netflix show. The room was so clean and supplied high quality shower products as well as tea, coffee and toaster.

Only 2 suggestions. 1. Even though no one can see in, the back glass door should be frosted or a roller blind installed. the full clear glass door outside the shower was a little confronting 🤦🏼‍♀️ 2. Maybe a full length mirror. I stayed here for a wedding in Kingscliff. I really could have used a full length mirror instead of the small wall mirror

The renovations are absolutely stunning and amazing! The room was spotless and the staff have thought about absolutely everything for a comfortable stay! There is so many streaming services to choose from on a state of the art TV, retro appliances, free pump soap, shampoo etc! just so beautiful!

The only issue we had was that the exterior light stayed on until 10pm, keeping the room really bright, and we weren’t sure if it was going to go off ( we had an early flight the next morning).

New fit out looked great. Idea was good, but not practical. Location is great. We stayed here before Covid and before makeover.

For older folk like us, this keyless push buttons get into the rooms needs explaining better, step by step. I'm too old to perch on bar stools. No table and chairs to sit and eat a meal or have a cuppa or watch TV. Not everyone lays in bed to watch TV. The floors are too cold with only 1 mat, that has a trip hazard (raised ends). Mats where you get out of bed would be better. No shower curtain, and the water runs all over the floor, and you have to walk through a puddle to get to the toilet.
