Hotel Mercure Graz City

The hotel is strategically located at the beginning of a pedestrian area that touches upon all the city's famous attractions. The establishment offers comfort and quality services at an affordable price: excellent breakfast, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, a fitness area, and a sauna. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Its prime location allowed me to conveniently explore the city's top sights, as everything was within walking distance. The room was spacious and well-appointed, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of sightseeing.

The hotel has a nice garage, the lobby is spacious and the room was very big for a hotel room (around 40m2), and clean, with a Nespresso machine inside which is really nice. The beds were big and confortable. The breakfast was good, but the coffee as in many austrian hotel is better to skip. The hotel is in the vicinity of a market with a couple of grocery stores in vicinity. The pedestrian zone (Mariahilfer strasse) starts nearby and will take you to the famous Kunstmuseum.

We spent one night in the hotel during our travel to Croatia. We were not happy with the first offer of the room on the first floor which looked like a room in the basement with a view of the courtyard. After our complaint, we got an upgrade to a "privileged" room on the third floor with free use of beverages from the minibar. Thanks for that go to Ms. Birgit from the reception. This was an excellent room. An awesome breakfast.

The entrance to the garage was a bit complicated, but in the end, it could have been managed.

Very good breakfast. Great location. Nice view. The lady at the reception was really nice.

Very noisy air conditioning system. Strange smell in the room, probably from the flooring. Increased humidity in the room. The access cards did not work and were only changed the next day by the lady at the reception. Not very clean in the room.

The room is spacious and comfortable, with excellent facilities for working. The location is very good for access to this popular area, which is fairly central. There were real glasses, not paper cups. I will stay here again.

A double bed needs two pillows, not just one. There was a used coffee cup in the room from the previous guest, suggesting not very good supervision of the cleaning.

Rich and high quality breakfast, good position, comfortable and well organized room. Nice gym.

Cleaning could be improved: they forgot a dirty cleaning towel in our room and randomly smashed our pajamas on the bed. Moreover, they removed the second copy of the key we left in the room without any explaination.

The hotel is is located near to the center of Graz, about 10 minutes walking distance. There is a marketplace right next to the hotel with several bars and restaurants around and more on the way to the center. The closest store is 1 minute walk. The room was clean and comfortable for 2 people. If you travel on the weekend, you can find a free parking places in parallel streets. The hotel's staff is very friendly and helpful.

Due to the central location mostly there is Kurzparkzone all around, so you have to pay for parking either at the hotel's parking lot or elsewhere in a parking lot (except weekend visit).

The location is great and my room was very quiet and clean. It was great to have a nespresso machine and free minibar, probably due to my upgrade to a "privilege" room. Staff was welcoming and friendly. I would stay there again.

The hotel could be anywhere, nothing austrian or "Graz" about it. Wifi was too slow and there was a flooding incident in the shower. They were a bit stingy with towels and pillows.

The staff was extremely nice and the hotel was very nice and clean and in such a good location. You’re able to walk to city center and back.

There is busy bar behind the hotel and if you want window to be open there will be some noise.

Good location, 8 minutes from old town with a nice walk. The parking facility just under the hotel (15EUR per day). The breakfast was great, good variety of food.

Room is small for 3 persons. We were there as a family of 3.
