Old Town Square Residence by Emblem

We knew before we arrived that it was not a serviced hotel. The huge room and living spaces plus the location were a big draw card. There are plenty of storage spaces in these charming free standing closets. The bathroom is well appointed but you need to climb over a high bath to get on so not suitable for someone with mobility issues. There were plenty of towels and necessities. Even though there was a kitchen and laundry with everything you need, it wasn't needed because the Square has so many restaurants and cafes and bars! The location is excellent. You can't get better. The views over the Old Town Square from the junior suites is worth the extra! Amazing. We found it quiet and relaxed. No noise filtered from the restaurants downstairs at all! The walls can be a bit thin so if you are unlucky enough to get a party person next door, you just call reception to deal with it. The staff at the Emblem carried our bags over the Square after check in and up the stairs. They were really helpful and very nice.

Anyone who reviews this place as a hotel is missing the point.

I stayed in the Residence by Emblem -- not the Emblem Hotel. You enter with a key through the restaurant on the ground floor. Most interesting (and spacious) "hotel room" I've ever stayed in. Go for the 750 sq ft junior suite for a lux experience you will not forget. Large parlor in converted 18th c historic property with 10' ceilings, chancelier, and double windows overlooking Old Town Prague Square & the Astromincal Clock. Would be great if they had on-stie breakfast, but there is a Starbucks next door (and a common kitchen and Dining Room if you are so inclined). On-site free washer/dryer were useful.

Location is amazing. Right in the middle of Old Town Square. Couldn't have asked for a better location. We went for Christmas and New Year and everything was happening in our door step. Christmas Market and fireworks, really busy and exciting. The room is huge, we had a big double bed plus a double sofabed for the kids. Bathroom very modern. All very comfortable.

No lifts so we had to climb the stairs with luggage. Luckily our floor was the first one so it wasn't hard at all.

This room is amazing... huge bedroom with high ceilings, lots of natural light and very a comfy bed. It feels opulent, but also simple and modern. The room had everything we needed. The shared kitchen was well appointed, and the washer/dryer was wonderful to have given that we stayed ten nights. It should be noted for those who are wondering, there is no breakfast provided here, as these are apartments. You will have to go out for breakfast, or buy ingredients to make your own. But the very best thing about the room was the LOCATION! Right on Staromestska square! We opted for the only room with a balcony (room 12), and it was 100% worth it. We got to drink our morning coffee and evening wine on our private balcony, watching the people go by and listening to the Astronomical clock ring each hour. It was wonderful (and very romantic).

We had two small hiccups during our stay. The first is that a couple of cans of beer disappeared from the fridge one day, but that's the chance you take with a shared fridge! For the most part, people were very respectful of each other's belongings. The other was that the hotel forgot to clean our room on the fifth day, but as soon as we brought it to their attention, they cleaned it right away. The staff of the Emblem Hotel was overall very attentive. It may be of interest to know that your room will not be cleaned each day. Because it's more of an apartment, they will only come after 5 days. In the meantime, you can wash your own linens, and maintain the room however you like.

phenomenal location - modern - super clean - spacious

Probably the best place to stay in Prague. It was a little noisy, but it added to the whole experience. We would stay here again without question. Maty was a great host... The restaurant White Horse was 100% amazing... Some of the best food in Prague... The clock is literally right out your bedroom window...as were all the great sight and sounds. We even had the USC Trojan marching band and cheerleaders outside out window one morning!

this review is for the emblem hotel, not the apartments, as we had to change our stay from apartments to the hotel. apartments were not clean and located on top of busy restaurant which was not what we expected. however the hotel was great.

that the room is not cleaned at least once every two days. The toilets need cleaning every two days A moldy side of the bed was not comfortable noisy place But that's the price of a very central location

The location is perfect, the room is perfect. Although there is no breakfast, everything is available and close and delicious.

Location location location! No really it's the perfect location to see everything. Restaurant downstairs was maybe best we tried. View of the market. 3 huge beds and amazing bathroom. I have to build mine like it.

My pc monitor is bigger than the TV. Heritage floors are quite squeaky. Bar downstairs can be noisy. Long walk if you want the head hotel facilities at Emblem.
