Royal Road Residence

Check in was easy but there no place to unload a car when arriving except for parking on a side street and hope you don't get a ticket. The apartment was huge and had a nice kitchen area, living room and bathroom. It had an AC unit in the living which is great if you plan on hanging out in there. Apartment is in very central location, lots of bars, restaurants, and things to do. Parking is about a 10 minute walk from the apartment.

It is in a lively area of Prague so there is a lot of street noise until very late evening/early morning. In the summer when you must have windows open because there is only AC in the living room it was very hard to sleep due to the street noise. I wish the AC was in the bedroom for a comfortable nights sleep. Also I didn't like that I had to provide my CC information on a sheet of paper for a security deposit. I would prefer to hand over 100 euros deposit than put my CC information on some random sheet of paper to be held until I check out.

Very spacious apartment within a 20 minute walk from the train station and 10 minute walk to the Christmas Markets.

There is an Irish bar located directly underneath the apartment that plays live music until 1:00 am. This did not bother me or my family but could be an issue for other travelers.

Great apartment in the beautiful old town a few minutes walk from Charles Bridge and Old Town Square. We had a balcony which looked out over the rooftops - stunning City. The building has a lift so access to all floors is easy. Warm, comfortable, clean and beautiful decor with everything we needed for our stay.

We visited off season and it was still quite busy as you are right in the middle of the tourist area. If you are on holiday for a few days wanting to see the sights and not have to do too much walking, this is fabulous. We were two mature female friends who have a few aches & pains and it was perfect. If you're looking for something quieter perhaps look for something further away from the centre and be prepared to walk a bit further. Having said that, the apartment was quiet and we weren't disturbed. We loved it.

We like to feel like locals when we travel and this accommodation gave us that opportunity. It is conveniently located in the old town section of Prague within easy walking distance of all the historical sights and many restaurants. The restored apartment gave us that medieval charm with the rugged beams and also provided the most modern amenities (good Wi-Fi, modern kitchen and bathroom , and open living areas.

We liked everything about this place! I would caution that guests need to be able to navigate the spiral staircase to get to the second floor with the bedroom and bathroom. That was absolutely no issue for us since we are agile and athletic but it could be for someone older. The washing machine said it was out of order, again no issue for us with it being a short stay. The bathtub was nice but the jets to circulate the water were not working when we tried to turn them on, something for maintenance to address.

Everything about it was amazing, it was right in the centre, surrounded by shops, bars and places to eat, but the windows are very thick and noise was not an issue at night, it’s just a 3 min walk to the main square and Prague’s clock, they arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport and one to take us to the train station when we were leaving, they served us tea while we checked in, gave us a printed sheet with description and information about restaurants and places to eat or go out, everything in the room was amazing and beautiful, they left us earplugs for the noise and my mum’s birthday was the day after we arrived and they left her a bottle of sparkling wine and a card, it’s all about the details and feeling of being home, the girls we extra helpful and had a wonderful smile everyday, honestly I can’t give them enough stars, I’m recommending it to anyone coming to Prague and if I come back I’m not doubting where I’m staying, definitely stay here, you won’t regret it

Location was great, right smack in the old city & next to a lot of restaurants and cafe. Short walk from the clock tower and the Charles bridge. Breakfast was great, home cooked waffle were really nice, my girls loved it. All the staff were great and very nice, friendly. Had a great exp and would certainly recommend.

The bed was not that great, especially the pillows - very clumsy and felt like there is no pillow at. We had one bedroom aprt with 2 sofa beds, which were better than the bed and we used those and we were fine. Being right in city comes with its downside i.e. noise. it was a bit noisy as the Irish bar was right down our aprt, and till the time its open its a bit noisy there. lastly, there was some small dripping sound which was coming in the bedroom and hence another reason for us to use the sofa beds.

Location, location, location. Great staff! Heart of the city. Spacious rooms. Parking was made easy by the staff, via a digital parking pass—very convenient.

We really enjoyed the accomodation during our stay at Royal Road Residence. The apartment was very cosy and clean and had all the facilities needed for an relaxing practical stay. Also the reception was very nice and let us leave our luggages in the reception room beyond the check out which was very helpful for us. The location was great thats why we would recommend it to other visitors as well.

One thing we would provide as a suggestion is the internet quality which was not at it best maybe because of the bad weather in Pragues during our stay.

It had a bath and it was really clean. location was a excellent.

shower didn’t always have hot water, the pillows and bed were really uncomfortable.
