This was a quite a unique stay. The hotel had a vintage atmosphere, with automatic wooden doors, a really really old vintage lift and a library bar. When you walk pass the front doors, it is as if you are transported back in time to another world which is quite exciting and unique. The rooms were rather old as well but the location of the hotel is prime, situated right beside the Copenhagen Central Station and opposite Tivoli gardens. If you're taking the metro, it is a bit further away but still within walking distance.

I love the vintage vibes but to be honest, the rooms need some work done because the rooms looked like it hasn't been furnished in 30 years. The wood furniture is breaking apart and falling off in the toilet and the room, the ceiling looks like it will be falling off very soon and everything is very, very mouldy. The lobby is kept in pristine condition but the rooms looked like they were out of a horror movie.. If the hotel could refurnish the rooms, this would be the perfect stay in Copenhagen.

We were close to the train station and close to the city center. The room fit us well and we have a nice view. The staff was very helpful. We liked the bar/lounge on the first floor.

Superb location. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially the evening manager (Mr. Brij). Excellent breakfast, and unlike many hotels the breakfast room was never overcrowded. Compared to most Copenhagen hotels, the room was spacious

In the lobby there is a plaque with all the celebrities who stayed in the hotel, everyone from Gerald Ford and George Bush to Led Zeppelin and David Bowie. So obviously it used to be a landmark hotel. However, it hasn't aged well, and today is a little shabby. Can definitely use a thorough refurbishment!

The best thing about ProfilHotel Copenhagen Plaza was its location which is few steps from the Center Train Station. We chose this hotel because we had lots of luggages and bike bags and as soon as we get out of the station, we found the hotel. Very convenient! Moreover, it's a walkable distance from the hotel to many sight seeing places and also many supermarket and restaurants around. The room was reasonably clean and all the staffs were very helpful and friendly.

If you're looking for a quiet place to stay, this hotel may not be your first choice since you'll notice the train noise in the early morning and there's a loud fire work noise around 11 pm from Tivoli on the Friday night too. The breakfast was in good quality but not much variety to choose. I had stayed for 5 night and the food were same every morning.

The room was great - arguably old but with the most marvelous view over Tivoli Gardens. Not too noisy either - and earplugs were provided, should you need them :). I didn't have breakfast nor eat in the restaurant but the bar is great; very cosy and with a really nice atmosphere - and the staff are absolutely excellent. That goes for all of the staff at the hotel: Everyone are really friendly , approachable and extremely helpful - very impressed with the service and how well I was looked after. I am a repeat visitor, by the way, and wouldn't hesitate in booking the same hotel again next time I visit Copenhagen.

The curtain was incredible, it makes the room pitch black even though its midday in the middle of summer. We had really great sleeping quality.

One plug in our room (by the bed side) was not working.

Staff was exceptionally respectful and friendly. The room was fantastic with a lovely view of the central railway station of the city. Almost everything worth visiting in central Copenhagen is walking distance (which is super convenient given the transport prices). Amazing options for food just across the street. The hotel itself has a great old-time grand hotel feel and apparently was used by aristocrats back in the day before they had their appointments to meet the King. All-in-all, fantastic experience, would certaily come again.

It was really windy one night and the windows let in some noise, but there are earplugs available on the nightstand. Also the heating really dries out the air in the room.

Ideal location. Right across the road from the Tivoli Gardens and 2 minute walk from the train station that goes to and from the airport. Also only a 20 minute walk into Nyhavn in Central Copenhagen so if you want to walk around the city, it's a great base. Hop on Hop Off bus is directly across the road too. Buffet breakfast has a range of options and fills you for the day. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Everyone has excellent English. Our first night there, the heating in our room wasn't working and when we told the staff the following morning, we were upgraded to another gorgeous room. The entire interior feels like the inside of a 17th century wooden ship or ancient library, and there's character in every nook and cranny.

Great location, steps away from the central train station, Tivoli, and Rådhuspladsen with the rest of the city not far beyond. The staff were helpful when if/we needed them, making storing our luggage before check in and after check out a breeze. The room was large for a European hotel and the sitting area was a nice addition. And of course, the Library Bar is a wonderful way to spend the evening with good drinks and good ambiance.

There was some sort of strain on our curtains but our bed and bath linens were all clean so we weren't concerned. The elevator does act up a little but it's easy to avoid and reset as necessary if you just read the directions posted inside (it's from 1913 and works extremely well considering!).
