Scandic Sydhavnen

Hotel within 5 min walk to train station with very regular trains into centre of Copenhagen. Ample parking available. Excellent buffet breakfast. Beds and room comfortable. Check in/ out staff very friendly and professional.

There is a wet room type shower, which in itself is fine, but there should be at least a towel mat or cleaning apparatus available to clean water from floor, especially as hotel policy centers around "no unnecessary cleaning". For longer stays, 4 days for us, bathroom cleanliness became compromised. Also there are no coffee/ tea facilities in room, although one could purchase coffee in lobby. No safe facilities or fridge in our room and no hotel safe available either. There are no restaurants in the vicinity, but there is one on site. However be aware that it has very limited choice of dishes and is fairly expensive. Their Caesar salad was particularly mediocre. We used the restaurant only once.

I have stayed here before, lots of parking, great choice of breakfast, we didn't have any other meals or use the bars, as we went straight into Copenhagen to visit the Tivoli Gardens, it's a great location just 2 stops on the S bahn into the Copenhagen Central station, costs about £4 return.. really good sleep, helpful staff & effortless check in & out..

Always had the room furthest from the the centre of hotel, don't know why this happens... Next is about the room this is not a complaint, but I had booked a family room so we could have a large bed each, but the hotel kindly upgraded us to superior double, I asked reception to change it to the family room I'd booked, which they did straightaway..

+ baby facilities (indoor play room, outdoor playground) + very good breakfast + excellent restaurant (although quite expensive)

- uncomfortable beds (especially sofa beds) - location was ok, but not super (less than 5 minutes from train to city center, but not much around) - wifi got some time to setup

Easy parking. Location. Very clean even though its a big busy hotel. Rooms were comfortable apart from a temporary water problem

Unfortunately our hot water was cut off in the morning but I assume this isnt something most visitors would come across

Smooth check-in/check-out and great parking right outside the entrance. Nice family room and a large bathroom.

The breakfast selection was not as good as we are used to when staying in Scandic. They seemed a bit understaffed so even if there were a lot of free tables (>10) when we came to breakfast they were filled with dishes and not cleaned.

we were upgraded and had a wonderful and big room.

It is a hub for truckdrivers, and some of them arrive in the middle of the night and some of them leave the engine running ( refrigerated goods), and it makes an annoying and disturbing noise.

Hotel is huge and very nice. The public transport is not super close but easy to reach. Facilities in the hotel are great. Clean and tidy. Breakfast is great and very tasty.

Bar is closing at 23:00. Public transport slightly far away.

Breakfast was very nice , staff was very helful

location is far from to city center , Ok there are two stops for city center by train but all tickests are very expensive , room was very small for family ( two kids )

Buffet breakfast was good. Can easily walk to the local train station. The bin separated paper, organic and rubbish which was great to see. Also the water in the hotel is filtered.

I wish the loaves of bread where presliced

rooms a little old and look used and some corners dirty
