Hotel du College de France

The hotel is in a wonderful side street in the Latin Quarters near the Sorbonne University. It is a small boutique hotel, charmingly appointed. The front desk staff was excellent in all respects. The breakfast was sufficient and plentiful for a French breakfast. There are many great little restaurants and cafes in this area; great location near 2 Metro stations (Maubert-Mutualite, Cluny) and 1 RER station (Saint Michel/Notre Dame). Check out the charming little French restaurant "Le Symposium" near Saint Michele subway/RER stop. The owner is so kind and the food is great!

The room ( we booked a double superior with balcony) is truly tiny - there's no room to move, or sit, or do anything except use the bed. I was really looking forward to the balcony but actually hard for both of us to use it. The shower is super - modern and very fast - the bed is comfy but be warned the rooms are impossibly small for two people - and we're two small women! The service and breakfast was super, but the room was way too small to enjoy the stay.

This is a gorgeous hotel near the Pantheon in Paris and walking distance to everything or easy public transport. The customer service is exceptional even before you arrive. Our room was on the top floor which means a lift to floor 5 then up the stairs which can be difficult if you have lots of luggage. It wouldn't be good if you had mobility issues. The beds are incredible.

To iron your clothes you need to go to the basement. Obviously a French thing not having a iron for your room.

Great location and very nice staff. The beds & pillows were amazing. Even though the rooms are small, the layout makes it feel bigger. We loved the shower & our little balcony!

The hotel is in a great location—walkable to stores, restaurants, bakeries with quick to access bus stops and the metro. While the room was small, there was one window in the bathroom and bedroom that made the space feel larger and it was nice to have the fresh air. There was always someone at the desk & they made us feel welcomed. We didn’t have breakfast, but they do have it available. The A/C was nice too. They seemed to prioritize cleanliness which is always important. You can tell the hotel cares about their guests by the small things they do, leaving small packs of travel toiletries (disposable toothbrush, cotton swabs, etc), a bottle of water and welcoming communication if we needed anything. WiFi worked well. Thanks for being part of our experience in Paris. Merci!

The room was slightly small and tight for 2 of us with our belongings.

Well managed and charming traditional small hotel. Fittings were mostly modern and the place was spotless. Appreciated the shower water pressure and temperature. The owner and staff were very friendly.

Hard to critique though inevitably the hotel facilities were limited by its small size and location.

The location was easy to find. The staff were lovely, very attentive and helpful with excellent English. Recommendations for restaurants from them were fab. The breakfast was very nice and good value. It was a very pleasant stay, with lots of proactive helpful communication from the Hotel before, during and after the stay. Sweets on the desk for guests who have been well-behaved ;-)

The only issues we had were minor. There was a problem accessing internet through the TV, which was fixed within 24 hours. The plug socket by the bed was broken in our room, which was inconvenient.

Staff were amazing. Room was great, quiet and comfortable. Enjoyed the breakfast and location was very central, lots of food options in the area, Public transportation was just "round the corner". The staff were really helpful and understanding when we needed any help, direction or assistance.

The bathrooms (showers, specifically) are a little smaller (I kept bumping into the tap lever by accident). We were in room 34, which was especially small, if you closed the shower doors, there was no way to open the tap, so they did move us to a different room.

The location was perfect down a quiet street so we didnt experience any noise. Good walking distance to a lot of sites and restaurants. The room was clean and we found the size perfect not too small and it never felt cramped. We didn't expect the bathroom to be as big as it was so we were very pleased with that. Everyone on the reception was friendly and made us feel looked after.

There wasn't anything we disliked. You have to leave your key with reception every time you leave the hotel. A lot of hotels seem to do this and we were a but weary of this at first but we experienced no problems.

The hotel has perfect location and you can easily visit a few attractions just by walking. There are many good restaurants near by. Every staff member at the reception was very friendly and helpful. They upgraded us to a higher floor with a great view and left us a very nice handwritten card and candies on the bed to wish us happy anniversary. We greatly appreciate it! If you plan to visit Paris, I highly recommend Hotel du College de France. A perfectly located hotel with amazing staff.
