Hôtel Henri IV Rive Gauche

This hotel is in a great location less than a minute or so from Notre Dame. The staff were lovely, especially Pamela. The room is typical for Paris in that it's small but it was fine for a few days. It was bigger than the last place I stayed. The room is a bit dated in the decor but the bathroom was lovely and there was plenty of hot water. There is a lift to higher floors and excellent double glazing. From my room I had a view of the church and the tip of the Eiffel tower. It's v easy to get from the airport CDG to this hotel by taking the RER from the airport to San Michel Notre Dame which is a 5 minute walk away. A ticket costs €11.

I loved everything about this hotel and look forward to staying again now that I’ve discovered it. Location excellent. Easy to get to everything, and Toot Bus stops outside the front door. I stayed in two different front rooms - both were amazing. Clean, comfortable, roomy for Paris. Great views. Continental breakfast was good and excellent value for money. All staff were welcoming and helpful.

The only negative was very slow wifi. iIt was fine using iPhone for simple things but I had to vpn into work and it was painfully slow and kept dropping out. Not a good hotel if you need to teleconference or vpn into work.

The hotel location is perfect! Just a 10 min walk to  Notre Dame, 15 min walk to the Louvre a lovely walk about 30min to the Eiffel Tower and a 5 min walk to the metro to catch the C line to Palace Versailles-last stop- the area has a ton of cafes and dinner restaurants. The hotel has a nice easy breakfast and your able to order eggs to your liking, one option we also liked was Kozy just across the street great juice smoothies. Loved the view from our room, the street may get busy from time to time but from our room could not hear to street noise was able to sleep soundly. Felt very safe walking around.

Good location for sightseeing. Many touristic places are easy to reach by walking and the hotel is also close to several metro stations. staffs were friendly and the room was exactly same as photos on the website.

Breakfast: I stayed this hotel for almost two weeks for my business. Sadly the menu of breakfast never had changed during my stay; three types of breads, a cup of orange juice, butter, several tastes of jams, and a coffee or tea. It would be OK if you would stay here only for one to two days, but it would be great if they could provide more variety of foods.

Breakfast was very nicely set up and staff always there for special requests. The location is perfect! And the view from our room enjoyable. Big windows that open too!

The twin beds were only inches apart. A little bigger room would have been better for two singles.

From the moment I arrived, I knew I was in for a great experience. The hotel's convenient lift was a major plus, making it easy to access different floors without any hassle. During my stay, there was a brief instance when the lift wasn't working. However, the friendly and helpful staff quickly came to the rescue. They went above and beyond by assisting me with a trolley, ensuring that I didn't have any difficulties with my belongings. Their prompt and attentive service truly impressed me. The hotel's location was also ideal, providing easy access to nearby attractions and transportation options

We love the location of the hotel it’s right in the middle of Saint Michel and Cluny-Sorbonne. Easy walking distance to the Louvre and Saint Michel is fab for getting the RER C to Versailles. Rive Gauche has a better feel than the other side of the Seine and you feel safer. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff are fantastic and the rooms are spotless for Paris. We have stayed twice now and will continue to stay here as it’s affordable and feels upmarket compared to other nearby hotels. You’re spoiled for choice for restaurants in this area and there are several Asian restaurants and even a Colombian one!

We had pre-checked in with the hotel and scanned our passports etc over to them prior to arriving. However on arriving we had to go through the same process again. We booked a twin room with a cotbed and we even received a confirmation email from the hotel a week before we arrived to advise the same, however when we arrived we were placed into a tiny room with no cot. We had the maid come in and set it up and we couldn’t move. I complained and we were moved to a slightly bigger room.

The location is great. The rooms were clean and the size of the room was very good. The staff was nice and helpful.

The rooms were cold,as the heating is only done by air conditioning it was not enough because of the new rules in France,we couldnt even understand if it is giving cold weather or not and turned it off.Then they gave a movable electric radiator which helped a lot in getting the room warm. We took tge breakfast last day and it was not good,the quality of the coffee is bad,it can be improved:we tried cappuccino which was from the machine and very sugary,and the filter coffee which was not good at all,tgey can also put a second cheese and eggs.Only the brioche was good.

We were very happy about our stay in your hotel. Everything was perfect, the room with a nice view !, the bed, tv, fridge, bathroom with good shower and practical heater (function to heat well for 2 hours). This was exactly as expected (and hoped for 😊). Your location is also very good situated in the center, not far from Notre Dame, two or three Metro/RER stations, in the neighbourhood are bakeries, bars and restaurants. We were not disappointed about our choice.

Awesome location, very clean room and comfortable setting overall. Staff was also cooperative. Lots of restaurants nearby. There is a grocery shop just next to hotel to buy fruits, snacks, drinks etc. Taxis are available all the time. We also ordered food delivery and it was smooth. It was just 2 mins walk from Notre Dam and Pont Neuf. Musee Louvre is also walkable from there. We traveled with our 5 year old son and he also liked the setting.

Nothing much to dislike. Only thing can be improved is the breakfast. There can be more options related to eggs for example.
