O.Lysée Hotel

Close proximity to major landmark, shopping, restaurants and metro station. Hotel is about a year old so room, lobby and breakfast rooms are very new and clean. The entire staff, from reception to the very nice lady who made the breakfast, were so welcoming and friendly. We thought the bed was very comfortable, linens very nice and towels were thick and soft. Really appreciate the special touches in our room- personal welcome note and chocolates. Decor was boutique chic.

Slight CON to the hotel’s location is that it’s near a major street and in a busy alleyway so expect street noise; but despite this we would definitely stay here again.

1. Bathrooms were very nice -I especially enjoyed the shower. Good water pressure and more than enough warm water. 2. The rest of the room was very nice with a comfortable bed and pillows. 3. Breakfast was very nice. 4. Staff very friendly. 5. My biggest pro was what happened after my check out. I had awkward timing between when my train left and when I needed to check out. The staff graciously allowed me to store my bag in a locked room for the day. This was something I was concerned about and did not take into account, so there ability and willingness to help impressed me immensely. 6. The room is ideally located and within walking distance from some of the major landmarks. Also very close to the Metro which was also a helpful perk.

1. The room was very small. So I wouldn’t recommend it for a long stay. It was perfect for my weekend trip where I didn’t need to stay long in the room. 2. It seemed quite expensive for the room size. However that being said, the location was great and I guess that justifies the higher price. Overall however, these dislikes did not negate from my good experience. Overall still very happy!

It had great proximity to a lot of the shopping, food, yours etc. very central! Nicolas, Pat and Mohammed were absolutely great! very helpful, knowledgeable and always willing to go above and beyond. they made our stay comfortable, fun and amazing!

just wish the AC didn’t break down everyday and when we asked for the room to be cleaned they didn’t vacuum the carpet or wipe down the tables. the taxi that was ordered through the hotel for our excursion made us pay an additional reservation fee which was not bought to our attention prior, wish we knew ahead of time, it would have been nice. Butotherwise it was wonderful!

The staff was super nice, we arrived way earlier than the check in time, but they let us keep our luggage in the hotel for the whole morning untill we could get into our room, and they did the same for our last day after we cheked out. They upgraded us to a Superior double room, with a terrace, which was really a nice surprise. Overall the hotel decor is really pretty and modern, room was super clean, and the bed was one of the most comfortable bed I have ever found in a hotel. On top of having a kettle in the room, there is also a self service coffee/tea machine in the breakfast lounge that is available to use 24/7 free of charge. The location is superb, just on the Champs-Elysees, walking distance to the main Paris landmarks. As a welcoming gift, they left for us macaroons from Pierre Hermé in the room, definitely a nice touch.

The hotel's location beside Champs Elysées is excellent, offering convenience and a charming environment. The overall appearance of the hotel is fresh and clean, with a youthful and creative design that adds a vibrant touch to the atmosphere. Upon arrival, I appreciated the complimentary welcome wine, which was a thoughtful gesture that made me feel valued as a guest. The breakfast selection, while limited, was acceptable, and the cook's friendly nature added to the dining experience.

There were a few drawbacks to consider. The soundproofing in the hotel needs improvement, as external noises occasionally disrupted the tranquility. Additionally, the rooms were too small to comfortably accommodate fully opened luggage, which may inconvenience those with larger suitcases.

Beautiful decor, Very clean, AMAZING location. Staff very friendly and helpful (especially when our plane was delayed by 9 hours, meaning we would get in at 2am they responded instantly to my email!) Also very quiet (We were on top floor with a balcony which helped with noise levels) Lovely complimentary iced tea, sweets and hand written note in our room on arrival - we LOVED this

More coathangers (or hooks) for storage. and more coffee for the machine. More coffee! :-) Only one normal coffee pod and one decaff, would have been nice to have a coffee each (But the reception staff were very kind to give us some extra when we asked) Very very minor thing, but we LOVE our coffee before getting up in the morning.

Close to Champ Elsyee neighbourhood, shopping and attractions. Walkable to effel tower if you are ok with it. Friendly reception and housekeeping staff. Advantage is that it has a k mart next to the hotel which opens from 10am to 8pm. Hence we had bought stuff for supper in room instead of heading out to find food. We were welcomed by a bottle of white wine in the room which is pleasant! There is aircon in the room which allows to be adjusted temperature desired.

Assigned room on 3rd floor. No view, only can see walls within the yard and see/hear children playing at the yard. Although we booked a suite, the sofa/living area is converted to bed. Thus no space for all to mingle or take supper together. My teens said that the sofa beds where too noisy when they make a turn at night. 😅

My boyfriend and I came to Paris for four days to have some quality time together. The hotel is one of the highlights of the trip, it exceeded our expectations. Everything was very cute, comfortable and clean; but the highlight was the personal, they were SO friendly and helpful, every one of them, from the reception team to the breakfast team, they were amazing to us so thank you to them for making out time in Paris even better. I highly recommend this hotel.

amazing place amazing staff amazing location! très chic !!! very close to metro lines and just a few steps away from Champs Elysee. OLGA’S attention was outstanding !! I will definitely stay here again.

There are some city refurbishments being done on the street that take away a bit of the view but other than that there are no downsides !

On arrival, I was warmly greeted. I was 4 hours early and before check in time was available, so I just sorted out my payment and everything I needed to there and then, and they very kindly offered to hold my luggage safely so I didn’t have to carry it around Paris. I then got offered a tea and a croissant and a map before I set off again. When I came back, I went up to my GORGEOUS bedroom with a balcony and they had put balloons and a birthday gift on the bed as I turn 30 on Sunday. It was just so thoughtful and unexpected. I cannot fault their hospitality and how lovely their hotel is. Would 100% stay here again. Thank you so much!
