Excellent location, very comfortable beds, even though the room was a bit small and crammed. The personnel was also fantastic, allowing us for a late check-out and storing our luggage for a couple of hours. I read that many people complained about the noise in the street and I have no reason to question that, but I have to point out that we traveled in August and none of the bars or restaurants outside the hotel were open. The street was dead quiet and we slept really well. In sum, great value for money if you're looking for a place to sleep and you're not planning on spending too much time in the room.

The room was a bit small and the admittedly comfortable bed was occupying almost the entirety of it. If this is not your cup of tea, maybe you need to look for something more spacious. We were pretty fine with it.

I like the location. Thought it was pretty great and it was easy to get to the omonia station. It was also very close to the flea market. Overall the location was fabulous. The room itself was very Spartan, very minimal and could have used some decoration. The shower was a little funky to work with but it was fine. And the staff were super friendly and they were responsive after hours too. I would recommend staying here and would consider staying here again.

This was exactly what I needed. After the end of a group tour we were booked into a nearby hostel with non aircon. I booked a night at Athens Lights at 3:30am when I couldn't sleep. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they got my room ready earlier than check in so I could rest. The room itself was great, excellent bed, shower and aircon! There was a coffee machine and water too. I paid €5 for breakfast which was large and excellent. The hotel is a 20-25 minute walk from the main centre depending on where you are going to. And it is easy enough to hop on the metro if you don't want to walk. Thanks for making sure the final part of my trip ended well after a disastrous start!

Big balcony, nice clean room, air condition (to warm the room), coffee machine was great, and staff were friendly and helpful. Location is good to be reached by public transport - near is a bus stop, and a metro station pretty close.

A day and a half hot water wasn't available, the problem was fixed, but not in time; breakfast was delivered to room, because of covid, which was nice, but the menu was very poor - bread, croissant, yogurt - no fruits or vegetables, or a variety (I stayed 5 days, so for me it was noticeably). It is not a hotel problem, but just for information - some nights was pretty noisy, because of bars in the neighborhood.

Very cosy hotel, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Located in a vivid area of Athens, with small streets full of restaurants and night life. The food offered by the hotel is also good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The city center and all the touristic attractions are at a 20 min walking distance.

If there is one improvement that I might suggest in the listing, is that there is only one room with a terrace in the hotel and you might be dissapointed if you get a room that has none.

There’s not reception to receive the costumers. I arrived at 2:00 am in the morning from the airport and I came to the hotel around 3:00 am so it was closed and I have to sleep on the floor until 7:30 am, with my suitcases. It was very dark, I was scared!

Very friendly staff, convenient location and the room was very large and comfy

There is loud music coming from the street from early evening until very late (there is a bar across the street). It was not a problem for me but if quietness is important for you be aware. You can also choose a room that does not have street view, maybe that solves the problem.

Given the price, Athens Lights is a great urban hotel. It's located a little outside the central area but it has its own busy cafes and places to walk around nearby, just less central to the main tourist centre, like Syntagma Square. The staff were also very friendly and helpful; they provided a hefty breakfast with lots of different things, so that was appreciated.

For the breakfast, perhaps they don't need to put so many different types of bread. We had a whole baguette (no filling), a croissant, and crunchy bread. An egg or some fruit could be a good alternative.

Spacious room, spacious bathroom, super clean, very modern, soundproof (i couldnt hear the very lively bar downstairs from the room), easy checkin, luggage storage, daily cleaning service, coffee topup in the room, very polite staff, very central safe location. I am definitely going to stay here again

I didnt see any hairdryer in the room. The room was big enough to have a kitchenette (hint hint 😉)

Good location, clean and comfortable room. Some noise from the street below but once the windows are closed there is good insulation.
