Really hotel and great value for money. All you could ask for at this price, clean (the room was even cleaned in the day while we were out), balcony, good location near the centre, Had a lovely rooftop balcony as well as the one in our room, and an elevator to take you there which is good when you have lots of luggage. Our bathroom was nice, clean, and we were provided with plenty of fresh towels. Remote-control air con in the room which was absolutely brilliant esp when it's warm. All in all, really good value and a very pleasant stay for a couple of nights.

There weren't any bedside sockets in our room, but that's a pretty petty criticism and not a necessity. There were police who stood outside of the hotel on both the nights we were there. It was a little unnerving and i'm not sure what the situation was but that's obviously no fault of the hotel's. Other than that, a great stay.

This Hotel seemed to be in a lost corner of Athens, but it was only a 30min walk to the "Centre" through some of the most beautiful little side streets covered with street art and interesting shops, cafe and parks. The hotel was exactly what I expected for the price. The room contained a double bed, desk, chair and wardrobe, with an ensuite bathroom containing a toilet, shower and sink. Towels and bedding were provided, along with toiletries. The room was cleaned every day. The breakfast was minimal but sufficient for the purpose. The desk was manned 24hrs a day, and the lift was small but surprisingly quick. The highlight was the rooftop bar with views overlooking the city. A well-stocked mini market is around the corner, and pharmacies are within a short walk. Andreas Fish restaurant is a must-visit.... beautiful food. Take the open-top bus ride. It will show you the whole city, and you can decide where to explore more.

Honestly, the only thing would be a toaster in the breakfast dining room. I was a little un-nerved regarding the 24hr police presence outside, but it made me feel safer being a solo female traveller.

I'd been a little nervous about staying in what might appear to be a gritty neighbourhood (what with the heavily graffitied streets and armed police stationed outside the hotel), but in fact I really liked the lively and non-touristy feel of the area, and it felt safe. There were plenty of great restaurants and take-aways near by, and I walked easily from the Cycladic Art museum back to the hotel without any problem. The location is also very handy for the Archaeological Museum. Also, it was fun to walk up the nearby Lofos Strefi hill at sunset for the lovely views.

The staff is courteous and helpful. The staff loves sharing local knowledge about the area and gives insightful travel tips (directions, "how to", etc.). The breakfast is quintessential and of good quality (tasty and ripe peaches, nice mini-croissants, etc.). I loved their hot toasts in the morning. On my first three days, I missed breakfast. I was heavily jet-lagged and preparing for my science meeting. Yet, they gave me breakfast. This hotel's location is central, a 10-minute walk from Omonia Square (Metro station). The wifi is reasonably fast and reliable, so I was able to submit my project assignments by the impending deadline! The bathroom is clean; the shower has good pressure.

All good

I love this hotel in the center of Exarchia!! Simple and clean, friendly and cheap!! And with the beautiful view on Licabetto hill!!

Breakfast has improved a lot since last year (it was taken outside, delivered by the nearby kiosk, now it is internal on the first floor) but there is still room for improvement with more choice.

The place is a cult gem, straight out of the 70's-80's, in the middle of the most important area in Athens.

You know what you're getting when you book here. No super lux comfort - the bed is older than your parents, the bath size is smaller than a phone booth, the room door is a sheet of paper lackered to look like wood and the walls are thinner than rice-paper. You have been warned. (Despite all that, the place is as safe as houses).

The location was exceptional for the two of us as a rather 'alternative' couple, ourselves. Exarchia was a perfect fit for the most authentic young, Greek experience in my honest opinion, and I wouldn't want it any other way. Being surrounded by like-minded folks, feeling the spirit of rebellion and strength of the local fights and movements was moving, motivating and inspiring.

Athens overall is a not very accessible city. The streets are cluttered and very limited in terms of space when it comes to their extremely narrow sidewalks, busy roads and lots of construction work that typically takes over said already narrow sidewalks. They pose no problem beyond a simple casual obsticle for any able-bodied individual, but I would not travel here with my family, for example - many of which are indeed disabled and special-needs.

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel in Athens and would like to share my thoughts in this review. Firstly, the location is incredibly convenient as it is situated near numerous tourist attractions. This made it easy for me to explore the city and make the most of my visit. Regarding the facilities in the room, I found them to be of good quality. Everything was well-maintained and provided a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It's always a relief when a hotel pays attention to these details, and this establishment certainly delivered in that regard. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Athens. With its excellent location and well-appointed rooms, it offers a pleasant and satisfying experience for travelers.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel and would like to provide some feedback in this review. While my overall experience was positive, I believe there is room for improvement when it comes to breakfast. It would be great to see additions like Greek yogurt and sausages to enhance the breakfast selection and cater to a wider range of preferences.

Staff were kind and helpful, very willing to assist when they could. As a solo female traveler the area felt safe, there were often police patrolling the streets around. Room was small but tidy, what you would expect for what you pay. Location was good, close walk to Omonia Train station which makes it easy access to the more touristy areas like Acropolis and Plaka. The upstairs bar and sitting area was wonderful, you get perfect sunset views of Lycabettus hill and the city.

The only thing I would note for Plus sized travellers is the toilet and bathroom might be a bit small. It may have been my room only but the toilet was very close to the wall and door.

Location was okay, just 10-15mins walk from some bus stops and underground. Heightened security 24/7 with police visibility every 100-200 meters. Grafitti walls everywhere. Room was good, basic, though the toilet seemed smaller but just okay, water pressure/heater was good though the shower needs to be replaced as it was leaking and it has rolled tape on it. Breakfast was basic and passable.

my ac was not cooling perfectly even at 18C. I cant imagine how it feels during the summer peak. Reported it but no action taken. I just left it on, closed the curtains, to have a cooler room every time I come back. I had a little trouble sleeping though as the AC keeps malfunctioning, solution is turn it on/off and it worked for me.
