Coco-Mat Hotel Nafsika

We visit Greece every summer and our family has stayed at this Coco-Mat property many times over the years. This hotel continues to be clean and comfortable every stay. The beds and pillows are perfect for a great night's sleep; there are true blackout curtains in the room; there is good free Wifi connection; the shower offers wonderful water pressure and temperature along with top quality toiletries; the daily breakfast offers a variety of delicious options, including made-to-order eggs; parking is easy to find on the surrounding streets; the neighborhood is quiet and safe; and the KAT metro station is within walking distance.

We are a family of four -the room is definitely a tight squeeze. We stay at Coco-Mat for sleep, showers, and breakfast so it works for us. Be aware that the rooms were not designed to accommodate more than 3 people and are not large enough for a family who prefers to lounge in their room.

After a long flight and late arrival in a foreign Country, it was so comforting and a relief to be greeted by Aldo at the front desk, we immediately felt at home. We were helped to our room and had the best rest in the most soft clean and comfortable beds. We Had the perfect all you can eat breakfast with the freshest ingredients and a multiple of choices. The staff were consistently helpful and polite nothing was ever difficult for them. I would give them all 10 stars.

The staff is friendly. The room has a large balcony overlooking a quiet street. The room is a good size with two desks/tables to work on, a cupboard, coffee machine and fridge with water. The bed very comfortable with high quality bedding and different pillows to choose from. The shower has a clever door and creates a large shower space when open and a large drying space when closed. The communal spaces very design and pleasant. I love the area, very quiet with almost no street noise. Location is outside the city center.

Coco Mat is a perfect distance away from the airport, the main sights of Athens and also a lovely town Kiffisa which has shops; cafes and a lovely park to walk around right by the station. the metro station is 5-7 minute walk, really close by and takes you into the city - it’s a very simple metro system and cheap! The staff really exceed expectations and are extremely accommodating to whatever you need during your stay. The cleanliness of the hotel is brilliant and I was offered cleaning of the room frequently. Breakfast was lovely, had the chose of ordering fresh eggs as well as pastries and cereal. They also have a lovely fresh lunch to dinner menu which is all delicious! I feel very comfortable and safe at CocoMat and can’t wait for my next stay! ☺️

Hotel was really clean, the honesty bar worked well for us. A gym would have been an added bonus. Staff were really hepful and polite. Rooms were clean and pleasant if not a little small for the 2 weeks stay we had in Athens.

Breakfast was a little limited and my go is usually an omelette but unfortunately it was invariably overcooked. Did make me stick to the healthy option of Muesli most mornings.

Everything! The very well designed breakfast area that allows the light to enter from different directions, the amazing breakfast, everything fresh and tasty, the super comfortable bed and great linen, the spacious bathroom. The list is endless but the important thing is to mention that everything is designed stylish and comfortable and the staff are all making sure that you have a better stay than what you expected :)

Another outstanding stay with COCOMAT! I arrived to an upgrade in a wonderful suite that just kept going on and on with balconies too. The hotel felt really in nature as it's a very quiet, leafy street (with easy parking). The team members were great and so was the food. Recommend for an airport stay. Goes without saying the beds were super comfortable and since I stayed while I was waiting for a new bed to arrive I bought one of their glorious pillows.

Atmospheric beautiful cozy hotel created by coco-mat, amazing comfortable sleep, welcoming, helpful and smily staff, nice breakfast and amazing common area. The location is just perfect for a business trip (if you need to stay around Kifissia area). Thank you for upgrading us to your lovely Suite!

Please, take care a bit about your plants on the tables in common area. they need water and love :)

the upper part of the bed needed adjustment for the feathers to be evenly distributed after a night’s sleep. the stuff immediately did that for us when we asked and the adjustment made the bed softer to sleep in.

The hotel is in a quiet and green neighbourhood of Athens, a little away from the centre and all the buzz but if you want to relax and take it easy, it’s absolutely perfect! The breakfast was great and the staff really friendly and helpful!

The only negative thing I can think of is that the room was maybe a bit too small but the bed is really comfortable, the room very clean, there’s coffee and cold water in the room.
