Theoxenia House Hotel

Beautiful rooms, quiet neighbourhood and good location. Reception staff was very helpful and friendly.

If you are booking this place know that you may be denied room service depending on how busy they are as the actual kitchen is at their other residence 300m away. I orders a morning coffee and was denied because they were too busy to being to me. Also all the facilities are not at this location you need to walk to their other hotel to use the pool and spa. I made this mistake thinking I was booking a place with the facilities shown. These facilities shown are actually not here.

The suite was spacious and comfortable with huge bathroom. The parking was convenient. The outdoor pool is large and clean.

Be aware that there are no windows - it is a basement. For the price of the accommodation, there could have been at least a coffee making facility. Central Athens are actually quite far- 15 minutes walking to train station plus 1 hour by train (beat taxi is 25 minutes for about 20 euros - it cost us 40-60euros to get to Athens every day)

This was an excellent hotel for us as we had to attend a wedding in the area . Quality room with excellent furnishings , good wifi. Comfortable beds and settee .The pool and breakfast buffet are at the main hotel, 5 minutes walk away .

We ordered breakfast on room service and the coffee arrived cold . We asked for a hot coffee and it was replaced without charge . Maybe a kettle with tea/coffee in the room will solve this problem

We are a family of 4 and we chose this year to stay at Theoxenia House Hotel. So we booked a suite for 4 pers ( 2 adults,1child and one baby). Once we got there we were impressed by how large and beautiful the suite was . But unfortunately, the heating system was doing an incredible noise, was so loud that we couldn't close an eye during the time inside the suite . I want to thank, first hand to the man from the reception that as soon as we complained, he did everything to move us from this basement suite to another room with a different heating system and more quite . I also want to thank especially to the lady from the front desk, for being always ready to answer your questions and help . Thanks to the entire staff of the hotel, who made pleasant our stay there. We had our breakfast included in our staying and we ordered 2 times room service and we weren't charged so that is a big plus . I do recommend Theoxenia House Hotel but I advice the families to avoid the basement suites for the reason mentioned before.

The location is excellent for our needs. We are returning customers for 9th time staying at this very venue. The staff are polite and professional. The breakfast buffet at the nearby Theoxenia Palace is well appointed and a refreshing stroll away. The room is huge; we always opt for the semi-basement 100 sqm suite. It is very good value for money for what it offers.

The furnishings have passed their prime and could use a refresher.

The location is ideal for us. The immediate vicinity has parking spaces although the area is hard to find spots. The venue is peaceful and secure. The room real estate is huge. It is good value for money. Very friendly reception.

The toilettries were mediocre. No complementary tea or coffee in the room. Furnishings have long passed their prime. No dedicated covered smoking area.

The room was spacious and the location is excellent. It is easy to find a parking space, while the hotel also offers one. The room had a large sofa and a desk allowing guest to sit comfortably and work or relax in private.

We stayed in the middle of a renovation so our room smelled like fresh paint and we were finding pieces of white wall in our room most days. Overall cleaning was insufficient, many dusty areas and used items were not always replaced. The available glasses in the minibar were clearly used, the floor was covered by an old carpet with visible stains and several items such as towels were not replaced when needed even though there was a daily cleaning.

Cannot fault this hotel, our suite was HUGE, location was excellent.. restaurants and bars 2 min walk to the beautiful centre of kiffisa.. close to train station .. breakfast was delicious and there were new options added daily so you didnt get bored.. staff were friendly, professional and efficient. Will be back

Pool was adults only and we had a very disappointed 8 year old. But everything else was amazing. My own fault for not checking if pool was kid friendly.

2 bedroom suite was ideal for our adult children. Convenient location. Nice pool

Busy road to cross to get to main site.

The staff was extremely helpful and even packed me breakfast as my flight was early AM. I must graciously thank them all for everything they did especially the gent at reception who assisted with a last minute taxi booking when the one I had booked failed to turn up. Thank you sir for your support. The room was very spacious and well done. Overall a great stay and I would definitely like to go back again soon.

I personally prefer a walking shower for the bathroom but this is more a personal thing.
