Stanford Hillview Hotel Hong Kong

The most amazing thing about this little boutique hotel is its unique location on the edge of the Observatory (a park in the centre of TST). If you can, get a view of the park. The other incredible thing about this hotel is the 24hr service. We called them to do random stuff at all hours. Make the beds twice a day. Bring fresh towels at 2AM. We were high maintenance and the service and cleanliness was better than a big hotel. Another mention- the air in the hotel is HEPA level clean. It is so hard to get that.

If you have any issues climbing stairs, you cannot stay in this hotel. It is a small property on top of a small hill and if cars are parked in certain places. A taxi cannot drop you at the front door. Period.

the rooms are clean, the disinfectant is provided with a thermometer at the entry. you can rent power banks. the house keeping is good and will figure out the Time when you are leaving the hotel really fast. good hard product. the soft product couldn’t relay be explored to covid but you can order food. the bed is comfy but saidly not chrome cast to connect your own devices the TV is huge - all international new stations are available

nothing the staff was friendly and since I know HK already didn not have any questions. only minor annoyance was that after checking out nobody helped me with my luggage - I had 3 Pices and one backpack as well as a weekender. thankfully the taxis driver helped me but I expected them to at least assist me with on bag.

The room was spotless and stocked with the usual amenities. The staff was also friendly and very accommodating with our requests. It was great value for Hong Kong and pretty central, close to the train and bus lines. There are also 24 hour convenience stores available nearby.

The place is located on top of a hill so it's a bit of a hike going up. So if you're bringing your suitcase and walking to the hotel, prepare for a bit of a climb. The area is pretty accessible via Uber and taxis.

Bed is comfortable, bathroom is nice, the room is pretty small though. But for the money I paid, I am happy with everything, except the Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi was really bad. During my 3 days of stay, I could only successfully connect to the WiFi once.

The location is great! Shops, Mall and restaurant are near by. it’s located in Tsim Sha Tsui, so wouldn’t be far to go other places. 8 mins till MTR station. Room is clean and new

Hotel service is good, room is ok and clean. the bath room is also good and clean. Est. 9 mins away from the TST MTR is totally acceptable. You can take the A22 from the airport instead of taking airport Express. Also There is a very nice bar street right beside to this hotel, which is awesome!

Not sure what is that, maybe something of the air condition system for aisle, one machine might be too close to the room I’ve been assigned originally, the noise made me failed to sleep. But as I’ve mentioned their nice service, they’ve reassigned another room for me after I’ve told them, and everything went super smoothly.

It is on a steep area, but it is very accessible. There are lots of convenience stores, pharmacies and restaurants around. It is also just a few blocks away from the MTR station. The staff speak English and they were all friendly and courteous. They offer luggage storage too so it wasn't a problem when we arrived way earlier than the check-in time. Check-in was hassle-free. The rooms are clean and spacious. Everything we needed were provided (love the shampoo and body wash, btw. They don't make my hair and skin dry). WiFi connection was strong. Check-out was hassle-free as well.

It might be challenging to get to the hotel if you are travelling with children and elders because it is really steep. There are also bars around so if you come back to the hotel late at night, there will be a number of people (mostly men) hanging out and smoking on the walkways. The noise from outside, however, cannot be heard inside the rooms.

i like the location! very convenient to go everywhere and lots of cafes/restaurants nearby

The rooms were extremely clean and the hotel generally was well-scented. the rooms are as they appear in the internet photos and the ambience was right for relaxation after a long tour. The location is conducive as there are several restaurants, shops, and convenience stores right outside the hotel. The hotel is also just a walk away from most tourist attractions. We were able to walk to Mong Kok, Victoria Harbour and the ferry station to Hongkok island is less than 20 minutes walk away.

It would have been nice if there was a microwave to warm our takeout.

Firstly, the room is not as small as we expected.Instead, it’s able enough to travel with another person living in a twin room. Then, we extremely loved the service, the hotel provides two bottles of water every day freely, and the room was equipped with refrigerator. The rooms and aisles were in very good condition and we were very comfortable. Lastly, the location of the hotel was wonderful. The hotel is close to Tsim Sha Tsui. Walking to the Victoria Port just took me 10 min. It is also very close to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station. It is located in the most developed area of Hong Kong
