Crowne Plaza Ahmedabad City Centre, an IHG Hotel

The front desk was just excellent. As I had my elderly grandparents with me, I had to make sure about their comfort including their alighting from the vehicle, wheel chair and escort to the room etc. The team at the lobby including concierge, security and front desk are super courteous. It was a smooth check-in and check-out including services by porters, without any extra wait time. The room are spacious and modern. Had to leave early, so requested a packed breakfast. The restaurant called up to inquire about the requirements and the contents were ok. Didn't really liked the packaging as available from other star hotels like ITC etc

Overall very good experience. Breakfast is excellent with loads of options. Staff is very friendly. Rooms are nice size with clean bathroom. Overall cleanliness was maintained in the hotel. Location is nice as right on SG Highway.

Nothing much to write except that it was still higher price for Ahmedabad. Initially I was informed that I will be charged for early check in so I had to stay other place for 2-3 hrs before show up at Hotel. They were able to help check in 2 hrs in advance and that was helpful.

Had a lot of initial hiccups with check in and some facilities inside the room. But the staff was patient enough to change our room and made our stay pleasing. We had booked our rooms at last minute and hence they were all smoking rooms. However , upon arrival and on our request , Mr Abhishek from the front desk did all things possible to give us non smoking rooms in last minute. A humble thanks for that

Tea coffee machine needs to be checked in all rooms. we changed room twice and both times the machine wasn't proper. although we were given a better one later but its advisable to change the broken ones. The check in process can be smoothened out a bit. There were lot of forms to be filled which I feel can be shortened or lessened. Also , please have an option of emailing address proof in case by mistake anyone isn't carrying the same. Overall the stay was very pleasing. We also got complimentary pastries as we were travelling with small kids. We will still recommend this hotel just for the helping nature of the staff.

As a NRI RESIDENT I AM ENTITLED TO CARRY ALCOHOL, BECAUSE OF MY PASSPORT WHICH WAS EXMAINED BY THE RECEPTIONIST AND I STILL HAD MY BOTTLE OF ALCOHOL TAKEN FROM ME WHICH IS RIDICULOUS. I WAS TOLD THAT I NEEDED A PERMIT FOR MY BOTTLE OF ALCOHOL WHICH I EXPLAINED TO THE RECEPTIONIST THAT MY PASSPORT WAS MY PERMIT BUT TO NO AVAIL.

The staff are so nice specially the ladies at Essence very accomodating. The reception is very helpful. The housekeeping staff, good job! I recommend Dravya Spa for the wonderful service. Sky grill has very nice food, the waiter really know how to recommend.

The pool was currently under maintenance.

Staff was really helpful and friendly. When I asked for a shuttle or taxi, they were fully booked. Then, Abhishek Singh, Duty Manager colled local taxi on behalf of us. Finally, he could arrange a shuttle for us. Thanks to him, we could enjoy sigtseeing of the city.

I did not aware that there is too high demand on taxi; it was better if the hotel could inform us in advance.

excellent restaurant and pleasant personnel all round

getting annoyed with the being asked to reuse my towel in a sustainable way which I’m all for however the cleaning personnel keeps putting fresh towels every day ; why put reminder’s for us guests !!! this is happening everywhere I’m afraid. is it a lack of communication between mgr n staffing ?

Convenient and comfortable

Not allowed to have a credit facility even after paying for my stay in advance. When asked for the reason- reply was that they have had a bad experience. It’s not fair to take this out on genuine customers. They need to review their internal controls

Overall experience with the hotel is awesome. Breakfast spread was good. Property is centrally located and easily reachable. Staff has been very supportive and accomodating our request. Ambience is excellent. I would suggest this property to other and I would be happy to plan my next time stay there. Overall experience is excellent and it is more than value for money.

Excellent food choices and all chefs were lovely. The waiters were exceptionally polite. Roshni was very hospitable, kundan made ordering breakfast easy, cleaning staff always made sure we were comfortable and had everything. Thank you to all the lovely staff
