Santana Beach Resort

The location is perfect. very clean and well maintained property. The staff was excellent. The gardens and water features are aesthetically located. The beach access is very good the beach shack, Calamari is excellent. Santana is the place to be in Goa. Secluded enough to enjoy a peaceful stay and the lovely beach and ocean , yet walking distance from many restaurants, bars, clubs stores etc.

I loved the location, atmosphere, the greenery. It is just like on the photos - the cute blue and white 2-floor houses. It is just 2m away from to the beach - it has its own entrance to the beach. Close to the street with shops, restaurants, scooter rental. It was smart to get a room with a pool view to enjoy the nice view of coconut trees and the water. Great staff - we had the room prepared with a double bed, and asked if we could have twin beds - the staff divided the bed right away and the beds were comfortable. The room was exceptionally clean. There was air conditioner and a fan in the room.

It is an amazing property and would love to visit again. Very well maintained, very good food, huge and spacious rooms, open views

Only fault that I can remove is the staff i was traveling with my mum who cannot walk a lot. Our Villa was far from the reception gate hence requested them to open another gate which was in front of our villa but was refused. leaving this i was quite happy with the whole experience

Breakfast good. Variety of options. Staff helpful and understood English. Swimming Pool and bar was good. Closeness to beach and other pricy nand neat restraunts. The simple garden had relaxing places, separate huts. Safe sourroundings. Beach nearby was really good for play and long walk. short walk to main street to access Misc. things. Close to rent scotters and reasonable prices taxi for day travel to places. Bathroom clean!

The Bookings.com price didnt include tax which got added and came as a surprise! The front desk couldn't provide info on what places to see around and how to organize the day for sight seeing and travel. There should be info sheets prepared and available to better inform guests.

If you want to stay in North Goa, in premium, budgeted resort, Santana is a best option. This was my 5th stay in 5 years and next year, it will be my 6th for sure. Staff are very courteous, property is super clean, rooms are big and clean. This is the first time I stayed with my parents and extended family. They also liked the property very much. Also, Calamari, next to Santana is a best option for dinner.

Hotel should start early check-in facilities. Also, priorities should be given to elders and small children. I think thats the component hotel has to work on. I came early at around 9am and requested for a room atleast for my twins, but they refused. Same time one more family was there and we could not get any space to sit near reception, so we sat on the benches at the bar for 3 hours. Two things that hotel has to work on - 1) provide early checkin in special cases and extend the space for reception which looks congested if more family come at the same time, 2) increase the breakfast spread which is very monotonous.

Excellent location with own access to the beach and town centre. Beautiful well-kept gardens with many water features and pool area. We had a spacious apartment, with separate kitchen area that had beverage making facilities and a fridge plus a separate room with wardrobe that we used as a dressing room.

Would have been nice if the kitchen area had a few plates , dishes and cutlery so we could self cater on occasion. But I guess as they have a restaurant they are reluctant to do that.

The property is very cozy and has good facilities. Location is excellent. Deluxe room was really spacious. The mini kitchenette was very useful with a refrigerator, coffee table and a platform. The two swimming pools were nice. Gardens were very well kept.

We were given room almost on top of the reception. It was very noisy. We made specific request while checking in to give a room on inner part of resort. But check-in clerk (Deepak) was quite stubborn and didn't care. The room cleaning staff was extremely loud and intrusive. Huge noise when they cleaned other rooms on the floor. They also kept ringing room bell to almost 'push' a quick room cleanup. Breakfast was a disappointment with very few choices. Taste was also just okay. Service staff (other than restaurant staff) seemed quite rough and need some training about customer etiquettes.

The room was really comfortable, it was big and had a private balcony. The property had good access to the beach and the pool was fun (it was a small pool but it was nice to have). The landscape was also very nicely done.

We opted to not include breakfast but we did have breakfast a-la-carte one day and the food and the service at the restaurant was okay but not great. There was regular power cuts and although the property had back-up and generator the wifi fluctuated a lot and sometimes wouldnt work for hours after a power cut. The hot water did not work all the time - sometimes the water turned cold mid shower. However, all of these did not have a substantial negative impact in our stay and we enjoyed our holiday immensely.

Location: 3-5mins walking distance from Candolim Beach. It was also very close to the main road filled with restaurants and stalls. Facilities: Good size room, clean & toiletries provided. We only stayed for 1 night, so unsure if they provide daily cleaning. They had a swimming pool and a bar located near the swimming area. WiFi was not great, poor connectivity. Highlight of the stay: The location was amazing, sandy beach closeby.

Everything was up to standard, apart from the WiFi. We had connectivity issue and we told the receptionist who send an engineer, but it still did not work.

The pool staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Pool side music and drinks create a great atmosphere. Restaurant staff was v attentive. Check in and check out was very smooth. you can request for any specific room you want, like sea view or poolside and if possible they will accommodate it. Food is v good and you can get pool side service. Rooms are v clean. A small folding bed is provided. I was traveling alone with my two kids and found it a safe experience . taxis were v easily available and reliable. a path from the reception leads to the beach in about 200 mtrs. A very good place for women, seniors and children. Excellent location of the resort to visit Panjim, Anjuna, Morjim etc. Ideal stay time 5 days.

The buffet service needs a bit more staff to help get tea/coffee/ etc to the tables. Also each table can come equipped with a cutlery caddy so we won't need to go to the buffet each time. A wooden stand to dry swimsuits swim towels inside the room will be helpful.
