ITC Kohenur, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Hyderabad

Everything is perfect except for the renovation sounds.

The renovation construction noise was present daily but not that much of a problem. But one day before we were to leave, it went up drastically and we couldn't even sleep. Complained to the staff about it but soothing was done and no update on the situation. The next day while checking out, after repeated questions, the staff said that the noise was not from the building, but from next door and they have no control over it. If they could have told us this earlier, it would be easier for us to understand. Just a communication issue I guess, but other than that, everything was perfect! Thank you!

The concierge staff super exceeds the expectation, they are there instantly, ready and willing to assist. I was there for about 26 nights. Even on my last night 2 gentlemen after their knock off time came to assist with closing & weighing my luggage which is way out of their job description, I just can't recall their names! I think Ashok was the one gentleman...please get their names for me. I give them 11/10 rating. Jaffar our driver...what an exceptional service, always ready to take us through a tour of Hyderabad, helpful, informative, what a Gem! The guys that cleaned my room Akib, Manohar, Subhasith, thank you for an ever clean room and a pretty personalised gift, you guys were awesome. Laundry was also ready on time.

I've stayed at ITC Kohenur over 5 times since 2018, I have noted a decline in service from the reception staff. They used to be your one-stop for all your needs, ready to help, no waiting...I wasn't happy with their service, there was absolutely no extra mile by them

" Especially, Pankaj (IRD MANAGER) Till the last time didn't even know that he was a manager, he was with us like very friendly. Aryan, he was very kind with us and didn't left us till the last time and while we have our dinner he even cared my 10 months baby girl. and Ansari was very friendly and treated us with full of kindness. He was like "Sir if you need anything, I'm here" JUST SAY IT...!! I live in the UK and I haven't seen this hospitality in the UK.i have visited ITC KOHENUR to celebrate my wife's birthday but I felt like whole staff celebrated with us. Myself and my wife and my child were here at ITC KOHENUR for 1 day. During our stay we experienced Excellent service, ambience,hospitality, food quality. Thanks, ITC KOHENUR. No regrets...!!!

My excellent experience in ITC Kohenur, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Hyderabad, When I arrived at the ITC Hotel around 10:00 am, I had no more luggage because the Lufthansa Airline failed to deliver my luggage due to their poor service. Ms. Baby immediately informed me that I could check in early, after getting up I ordered a hotel car with the excellent driver “Mr. Daveed". With his help I was able to buy all my clothes and linen as I have important meetings the next days. That was a great relief for me. The front desk was very active in collaborating with the airline and shipping companies to deliver my luggage. It was a very difficult operation but as a team we managed to deliver it late afternoon on the 18 August ( the day before departure) otherwise I would not have received my bags until to-day. I find the staff everywhere very friendly, helpful, attentive and very polite. I filled up very well. My executive room was excellent and the food was very varied and tasted great. With all this help in the hotel, I solved all the problems and fully achieved the goal of my trip. clean and staff very helpful …

1. rooms were not as quiet and could hear people talking in corridor 2. although staff very helpful, I felt that there was an expectation of tips at every turn. somehow this takes away from the experience. once we’ve paid for an expensive hotel , there shouldn’t be any expectation of tipping everyone from doorman to front desk staff to room clean up to porters etc 3. rooms are not as friendly to the elderly; my 80 yo parents struggled with the iPad needed to just turn off the lights

luxury comfort, great restaurant options. breakfast spread was great too and they made special effort to cater to what we needed. we dined at Yi Jing, loved the food and service. had seen a lot of negative reviews earlier about the hospitality and service here but am surprised to have witnessed and experienced just the opposite. service was top notch, all the staff was friendly, professional and customer centric. loved the stay and will definitely visit again.

if there could be provisions for mosquito repellents at the balcony that would be like icing on the cake.

One off the most nicest property’s I’ve ever been to . The stuff are so nice and welcoming and they even upgraded my room!! I was feeling very good in this property, rooms are beautiful and big , stuff nice , very clean , the pool it’s amazing , I’ve loved my stay in there and I will be back for sure ! Very well located property. Excellent maintenance and facilities. Very pleasant and accommodating staff, eager to please. Excellent food options, hearty breakfast. The view from our room was superb. All in all, an excellent stay and one which we will repeat without thinking twice. The hospitality is world class... rather, having stayed at many international hotels, I would say that Indian hospitality could give many many international brands a run for their money. Check in/ check out was smooth and efficient.

In one word: inexperience. The staff has obviously been placed in a hurry without the requisite training. They are extremely pleasant and eager to please, and once told what needs to be done they are quick to do it, but the nub of the matter is - in a hotel of this class, one shouldn't need to tell the staff what to do. They're supposed to know how to change a table cover during rush hours, or what to check during room cleaning, etc. A good training course would work wonders. Again, this is not to take away from the innate good natured and hard working staff that is present. I would have preferred if face masking rules were more strictly enforced for guests. The staff was punctilious, not so much the guests.

Comfortable room and bed. Wide variety of local cousine in the restaurant (breakfast and dinner as well). Nice swimming pool.

As usual during the check-in reservation is made on the credit card. That's OK. But to prolong the reservation for 1 month after the payment is completed at the check-out??? That's completely unacceptable.

Breakfast was good, and the crew obliged to accommodate all requests.

Requested a room with a view. However, assigned a room with a view of full pledged active construction site with full blown blast and loud noises starting at early morning and all day long!! The receptionist fail to mention or state that there was an active construction site next to the room assigned to me.
