We arrived very early in the morning and the staff were able to find us a room to check in super early and then we were able to have breakfast in the hotel and start our day off properly. The room was very light and airy and the bed was amazing both in comfort and size. The bathroom had a shower and a bath which was a bonus but the underfloor heating made it just that bit extra special as did the addition of a Dyson hairdryer and air purifier. Little touches but my hair appreciated it. The lobby area was excellent with lots of comfy chairs and settees and TV's for everyone to watch. The food was excellent and you could tell that everything was top quality.

I chose this hotel for the gym and the classes but was disappointed to find out that the gym was running a "summer" timetable so the classes I wanted were not available.

The toiletries were fabulous, and the quality of the food in The Vine Restaurant was delicious. The breakfast was probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had. But the most outstanding part of the stay was the staff. I have never stayed in a hotel where every member of staff went above and beyond to make sure the guest had what they wanted. If I had to find something, it's a pretty minor issue due to my personal back problem. I would have liked a harder pillow. I'm sure if I asked housekeeping, they would have provided one. The dining chairs and tables don't suit the height, and the chairs lack lumbar support, but nothing a small cushion from the conservatory couldn't sort.

We have stayed at The Castleknock on many occassions now. We have always been completely happy with our experience of this hotel. The rooms and beds are comfortable, the staff always very helpful, the restaurant arrangements are good, and breakfast is especially good. Housekeeping is good, and the hotel facilities are excellent. The pool is always a plus. This time we had to leave very early in the morning, and the staff kindly arranged a packed meal to take with us, which proved a godsend. Well done, Castleknock!

As always, I think it would be great if the hotel had a shuttle service of some kind in to the centre of Dublin. The location of the hotel suits us very well in many ways, and driving into Dublin is easy from the hotel, but to avoid the costs of parking in the centre, it would be great if there were a shuttle service of some kind from the hotel as public transport is a bit awkward to get to.

It was far beyond my expectation, the level and friendliness of staff was fabulous, the setting, tranquil, even though I was getting treatment in hospital, the retreat back to the hotel was a much needed refuge and took my mind off my worries. Rooms has so many extras e.g Dyson hairdryer, nespresso coffee maker, quality toiletries and quality bedding, your bedroom staff need to be commended for their amazing efforts and attention to detail. I cannot wait to return to try out the spa when I am free from the worry of hospital appointments etc. Thank you all 💕

Room is spacious with all amenities including Nesspresso PRO machine for coffee, bathrobe and slippers provided in room everything was on hand and ready to use, Breakfast was little bit more that I would expected but pleasantly surprised with variation and level of service provided. there is a room service if needed. car park is big enough and there is automated ramp at entrance.

One of our main reason to book the one night stay at this hotel was swimming pool, and unfortunately, working hours are very limited until 6PM are kids and groups and the adults can go afterward but on our visit they were closing it at 7PM since we were only on one night visit and realized late we could not use the facility.

The menu is always the same in the bar for the last 3 or 4 years.

Room was very good, and some rooms have recently been refurbished (I think!). It's very quiet in the rooms. Service for food and FoH is excellent. Beds are fantastic and the location is brilliant with or without a car. Second visit and this time travelled without a car. Coolmine station is 15mins walk from the hotel, for access to Longford/Sligo and the city. The #37 bus takes you to the city. Food is excellent including room service options. Breakfast excellent.

Layout of the larger rooms is not ideal with the lounge area being fully visible from the bed. Hardly a deal-breaker but more separation would be ideal. Shower made the floor rather wet even with door closed and a bathmat down.

Clean, spacious, welcoming. Ample parking. Room upgraded on arrival to spacious double with all amenities. Had requested plant milk to the room which was delivered fresh. Breakfast has lots of options but had to wait 15 mins for vegan sausages, rest of everything cold or consumed by then. Unfortunately I'd hoped to get swim in but they were disinfecting and sterilizing as part of their routine but did mean that the pool was closed.

Should be sign up or facility to pre order the vegan option as waiting before going to work isn't great. Also breakfast staff could be more friendly, they were surly, had to go and order tea or coffee when everyone else was asked as they were seated. Lady on the breakfast register was rude, wasn't there as I walked in so I approached two other staff members to be seated only to be shouted at by the person who returned. If they are meant to tend that stand they should do so and not shout after customers at 7.30 who are efficiently trying to get out to work. Provide trays to get breakfast as it is not convenient to have to walk from one side of the lounge to the breakfast bar for a couple of things at a time. People don't eat breakfast by instalments or run around in the process.

100% recommend. Great Breakfast with lots to choose from. Two double beds in the room, very comfortable. We had lunch on two occasions which was delicious, also plenty to choose from the drinks menu too. Amazing cocktails! Sun cream and sunglasses provided if needed due to the exceptional hot weather. The Spa area had everything we needed, a good sized pool. Very friendly staff and a wonderful hotel. Would definitely stay again.
