Crowne Plaza Dublin Blanchardstown, an IHG Hotel

We stayed only for one night, after a concert. The hotel is very well kept, really tidy in the common rooms. The room was extremely clean, with two queen beds (room for three people), a large bathroom, and many refreshments/hot beverages. Super quiet at night, and we slept really well. Our breakfast was included and the restaurant offers a wide range of breakfast foods from sweet to savory. The staff was extremely nice, thanks to Mohammed for cleaning our room and to Juan in the restaurant to stop for a quick chat. Free parking space available. The hotel is located right in front of the Blanchardstown Shopping Centre.

Prices have gone up a lot in Ireland, so I would not blame the hotel for the price as it would be unfair, especially as the service supplied was really good.

We had a delayyed flight which meant we arrived tired and grumpy. Our check-in was handled really quickly and within a couple of minutes we were in our room which was large, comfortable and clean - with a the lovely touch of a small box of chocolates on the bed for us - suddenly all our woes were gone. Bed was comfy, bathroom great, and breakfast offered a wide selection in the morning. Parking was easy and the location close of major roads meant it was ideally suited for our onward journey. Didn't hear any noise from the road - great soundproofing!

I liked how you could park there free and the fact that it was close to the shopping centre. To be honest, I booked it because it was convenient to visit my elderly father, but I would really rate it in other ways too. It is a lovely, clean and modern hotel. I was there 24-27 Dec and although the restaurant was shut from the 24-26 and only a continental breakfast available, all that meant was that there was no hot food. Despite this, there were lots of croissants, pastries, cereals, cold meats and so on, along with freshly squeezed orange juice, tea and coffee etc. The full breakfast came back the morning I left and it was the best I’d had in ages, I was stuffed afterwards. The people behind the desk were very nice too. I will book here again when I come to see Dad.

A bit of noise on the floor I was on, slamming doors etc, some shouty people on the night of the 26th, but you’d get that anywhere.

Lots of electrical outlets, fast WiFi, close to shopping and dining. Front desk staff ordered us a taxi for the next morning. Comfortable bed, great shower. Loved the complentary hot chocolate mix and bottled water.

Hate to fault a hotel for the actions of rude guests, but a noisy bunch of drunks held a long and loud conversation in the hallway outside of our room at 2 am. I asked them to please be quiet but they ignored me. I called the front desk to complain but it still took another 20 minutes for the jerks to quiet down.

Restaurant: The location was perfect. The distance to the other tables was good. The variety of food and drinks was amazing. I took little bits and went I think 3 times to get something else. Which was lovely. I felt like a child in a candy store. Staff was perfect Room: what a lovely room! Great bed, large, lovely. Nice pillows. The carpet felt super nice. The bath was amazing, the water was nice and hot and filled the tub quickly. Shower was real nice as well. Temperature: even though energy prices spikeling, the room was nice and warm. As it was cold and wet outside, this was lovely. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

Staff, friendly, Myself and friends were sitting outside in lobby beside Reception Desk, we had just got a round of drinks in, I asked the guy behind Reception to keep a eye on our drinks as we were just going for a smoke. We come back in after the smoke and the drinks were gone, taken off the table. I was obvious as well that the guy wasn't actually listening to me when I asked him for to keep a eye over the drinks. I was not impressed at all. The room was lovely and spacious and bed very comfortable, few cobwebs around the top of the window . Otherwise yes I enjoyed my stay in Crown Plaza Blanchardstown

our room was overlooking the motorway and soundproofing wasn’t good enough. shower gel container was empty and was not refilled during our stay we had feeling that someone smoked in the room before but the staff tried to cover and hide the smoke smell with a stronger scent. we aren’t sure and cannot prove that but we suspect that the smell once you enter the room can be explained by this.

I really liked this hotel food was fantastic. Our room was fab. The breakfast was the best I have had since prior to covid really good catered for all the family. Kids loved it too perfect for access to the shopping centre.

My only complaint about this hotel was the guy at reception who checked us in. found him extremely rude and sarcastic but we were so tired we didn't have the energy to correct him on his remarks. All the other staff throughout the hotel were exceptionally nice and helpful.

The room facilities were perfect - the bath and seperate shower was a great surprise to us all. The King Koil was AMAZING. Spotless. The room temperature was perfect. Reading lights beside the bed were super. Staff were so friendly & polite. Breakfast was gorgeous and such a wonderful selection. My children were so excited to see & eat the freshly baked waffles, pancakes & honeycomb🐝 The food from the bar was gorgeous and excellent value. My son loved the birds at reception.

The only teeny weeny things that we thought could be fixed in the bar - rip in our seat could do with replacing & tec7 in the meantime & as the food was absolutely delicious replace the onion rings with homemade ones please. Too easy to make fresh ones🙂

Room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was exceptional and all staff were a credit to the hotel.

The bar area was exceptionally poor. Seats needed to be replaced as it gave the impression of it been unkept and would not entice anyone to use the facility. Unfortunately as the dining room remained closed (which we were not aware of prior to our arrival) we were unable to dine there so had to seek an alternative restaurant for our evening meal. This was very inconvenient as our time was restricted due to the start time of a show which was the reason for our visit.
