Location and grounds good

Could t get into the gym although I asked for key code to be changed Didn’t work snd staff were not too helpful as I felt they didn’t understand The gym is hard to find and they just assume you know it Another guest member has to tell me However you do expect the hospitality staff to be more caring It was early in the morning and it was a night Pieter maybe 🤔 The restuarant staff not great -,asked for hot water and lemon and got it in a vulgar pint glass that could have cracked ….and how you were meant to drink that without getting hands burnt A shame because the hotel interior is nice but it needs better hospitality

Your pricing structure This visit cost us €98 on booking.com Somebody else was checking in at the same time and their room was €160 and somebody rang to book a double room and they were quoted €229 (didn't hear what date) We stayed with you last year for €125 and we wanted to stay with you in March but was quoted €179 It makes no sense and it seems like greed We stayed in the Farnham Arms on other dates when you're rates were outrageous and it was less than €120 everytime . It may not be as stylish as the Kilmore but when all you need is food, a few drinks and a bed for the night I refuse to be pay over what its worth to me.

Staff were very attentive in anything we needed. All staff were lovely, especially the young guy working the bar in the white shirt - he’s leaving for NYC next week and I’m sure he will be sorely missed! We also loved the style/decor of the rooms and restaurant. Beautifully finished.

There could be more variety of food at breakfast such as more fresh fruit to choose from etc. we had to be moved during our stay here due to people in the room beside us arguing at 3am in the morning! But again, staff were fantastic and got security at that time and also moved us the next morning however we did have to ask for this. There was no follow up to the night before . We also felt the rooms were not fully cleaned down before arrival? We found used products in the first room and a hair bobble in the second room which didn’t belong to us. It wasn’t anything too extreme but still should of been picked up if room was thoroughly cleaned.

The car park is a good size and the foyer is a very nice design.Going to our room ,the corridor is very well lit and the length of it is awesome.We really liked having two nice comfortable chairs in our room .The breakfast choice is superb and well presented and a tribute to the staff who are so polite and helpful. Overall, our stay at the Kilmore was absolutely fantastic and has been an ideal base for exploring many areas of Ireland in particular the Republic. It was handy having a bus stop quite close to the hotel which we used a few times travelling to Dublin and back.If you do use the bus service you must take Euros with you as it is cash only and currently costs about 18 Euros per person for a return ticket.

We stayed 2 nights in Kilmore Hotel and it was a great experience. The location is quiet, the rooms are comfortable and newly refurnished, and the staff welcoming us couldn't have been nicer. We had dinner in the Bar located in the Hotel for 2 evenings. The food was excellent and exceeded our expectations! Our compliments to the chef, who had accommodated all our needs in terms of food intolerance and requests. The staff serving the food was highly qualified and friendly. I went to the gym which is located in the Hotel itself. Despite not having a lot of weights (dumbbells/kettlebells), there is enough to do some good workouts. The garden around the hotel is beautiful, and well kept. We loved walking around and see the colourful flowers. We highly recommend going to Kilmore Hotel, taste the delicious food in the Bar and explore the beautiful places near County Cavan.

Not much to say - The only thing, as said before, is the gym could have some dumbbells/kettlebells...and maybe add a bit of cheese in the continental breakfast.

We found that the TFI App. gave information about the bus service that proved to be wrong. We waited at the stop outside the hotel grounds for the bus to Dublin but it didn't stop for us . However , after going about 40 metres past us the driver stopped the bus. We had to move rapidly to the bus door. On boarding the bus the driver told us we had been at the wrong stop. I thanked him for stopping and we continued our journey to Dublin. This issue ought to be clarified .

The Wifi was not only free it was superfast 120MBS download 85MBS upload. I travel a lot on business and have stayed in most type of hotels. This was up with my top five ever, its definitely amongst the top 3 thats for certain. I have stayed in well known Purple hotels that cost more whose facilities are lacking and anything you like is chargeable or you get a breakfast in a bag! The breakfast was freshly cooked and enjoyable. I also had my evening meals in the hotel. The menu choice was good and covered most diets. However service was phenomenal, I mean order a drink and meal, the drink arrived within two minutes, the food arrive within 10 on both nights. The staff were all amazing, helpful, polite, cheerful and very personable, nothing I saw or experienced was negative in any way. I would certainly recommend Hotel Kilmore without any reservation whatsoever.

The Dinner we had on the evening of the Stay, we expected to enjoy a al a carte meal in the Dinning Room however we had our evening meal in the Bar which was nice enough but not as we expected, My wife orders Steak Sandwich which cost almost 25 euro it was cold the replacement was not much better our chips were hard and tasteless, the waiting staff apologised and give us desert on the house, for the standard the hotel set meal didn’t meet expectations.

Lovely clean hotel with good facilities and plenty of parking available. Attentive front desk staff, great Guinness, excellent food in the restaurant.

The beds in my room were the most uncomfortable I've ever slept in, very hard and left me really stiff in the morning. The food in the restaurant was first class and service was good until the end, when I was overlooked when it came to paying. Had to go up to the bar to pay eventually as couldn't wait any longer for the bill.

I was given a room with a Bath . I had no idea most rooms only had a shower , so requested a bath at check in and was accomodated on that basis .

Receptionist did not advise time serving of breakfast was finished . Day 1 the pudding was so burnt it was not edible . Egg was rock hard . Plate was very hot , but food was not . Receptionist did not advise regards Spa conditions and times nor regards getting food / dinner later on
