Errigal Country House Hotel

Loved the array of begonias and the beautiful decor in hotel. Apparently the owner propagate all the flowers and does the baskets. Gorgeous breakfast too. Plenty to do in the area as in walking etc

The bar seemed a little bit disorganised and the staff not really welcoming. They closed at 1130 and bar was left imoccupied. Some people came on to the bar but nobody went to their aid for a while. Not that that was a problem for us as we don't really drink but just like to relax in actual hotel. I waited 30 mins for dessert and then it was the wrong on though I ate and the food I have to say was lovely.

Fantastic room which massively exceeded expectations. The staff were fantastic. Rebecca on reception was wonderful and the young girl in the breakfast room each morning was such incredibly helpful and a pleasure. The bar staff were fantastic meeting the needs of our little one, over and above every night!

We ate at the hotel. The food was excellent and our main waitress was very attentive. The room was spotless and despite there being a wedding on in the hotel, the disturbance was minimal and we slept very well!

Re dining experience :when I asked another waitress for a garlic mayonnaise it never arrived but overall the dining experience was really nice 😁.

From the minute we arrived we were made to feel welcome. Dinner was fab. There was so much on the plate that there was no room left for dessert. Lovely setting, very relaxing. Big bedroom with very comfortable bed. Great variety of breakfast.

I think our bedroom was over the kitchens because the fans were very loud. That's the only fault I'd have.

Breakfast was excellent as was dinner and the staff were absolutley first class.

It is extremely difficult for hoteliers at this time as their funds have been stretched to levels previously unknown so I do want to critise anything here it would not be fair and to be honest there was absolutely nothing that no more than a mere touch up of paint wouldnt fix.

ate both dinner and breakfast here, and a few drinks in the bar, all excellent, great service form all members of staff and good atmosphere. Locals very friendly too.

Rooms could be doing with a little cosmetic upgrade, but we were travelling through the counties and this was just a small stop off so wasn't too much of a deal, it just showed its age.

Food was lovely Staff were nice especially the breakfast staff The bed was gorgeous

Thought it could of been cheaper 167 for one night on booking. Com thought it would be cheaper but on the hotels website it was 145 so lesson learned to always check the hotel website and with no pool and no really extras thought it was a bit expensive and balcony was lovely but nothing to sit on just a empty space.. Fridge also didn't work but wasn't major issue

The food and cocktails were delicious, couldn’t fault them! Room was spotless, we stayed in the lodges and it was lovely and quiet.

We were unable to split the meal bill until checkout, which meant we all had to check out together as it was all charged to one room. Long wait between drinks but it was busy and extremely hot so we understood.

The Hotel was very comfortable, the staff were very friendly & helpful, the food was excellent & my whole stay was enjoyable & relaxing.. I had stayed here previously & this visit was just as good as the last, the hotel is perfectly located for the customer I was visiting & I would stay again..
