Fitzpatrick's Tavern and Hotel

Location superb, convenient to drive all around Ireland. Cavan is beautiful with many parks and water bodies, pure air and relaxing. Has pubs, restaurants and take away wrap counters,! Breakfast is personally served by Susan, hot and fresh and prompt!

We stayed for 7nights, so room, towels and sheets should have been cleaned/ changed twice. Pub visitors can get noisy during weekends but can be adjusted.

This place is exceptional. Even though we stayed on the night they won the league football final. The bar part was buzzing. The attention we got from the staff cannot fault anyone especially the girl with the blonde hair(sorry can't remember your name) she went over an beyond. Food was exceptional and not at all costly. Highly recommend the cajun chicken pasta,so tasty. Our room was big and comfortable . Breakfast the following morning was great too. If you are thinking about staying here don't think just stay. It's got everything you need an plus side how friendly the people are. The service you get here is 5star . You wouldn't get that kinda service from high profile hotels and the cost to stay here including breakfast was brilliant. One of the rare finds with exceptional value for money. We will most certainly be back an will recommend you to our friends.

Absolutely nothing

Very warm and friendly. Staff very helpful. Very good breakfast.as in the cooked breakfast and the jug of juice a nice touch. .. Very god location as a few beautiful areas to visit within 30 drive.. Overall Fitzpatricks was exactly what it's says on the tin. Worth a visit.. Lovely part of a lovely county. Enjoyed our night away

Nothing really but room and facilities basic enough.. Breakfast choice was limited

Very good value for the price. If you expect Ashford Castle amenities and service, you'll be disappointed. Customers are primarily foreigner fisherman anglers. No frills but adequate. Food in tavern was very good and breakfast included was as well.

Some fans would have been nice given the heatwave

Breakfast was delicious..food overall was top notch…staff were very accommodating and friendly… king size bed was a bonus

Rooms were spotless but could be a little more updated

It was a lovely village the food in the bistro was gorgeous, all the staff were very friendly the breakfast was perfect and the lady looking after us was great and better again the lady in the restaurant gave us some peanut butter cookies home made they were fab

The people were very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was cooked to order and very good. Parking was easy and the pub was lively. Food in the pub was very good

The staff and locals very friendly and welcoming. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Good food and reasonable. Big mugs of coffee great value.
