The staff and location were excellent. Special shout out for Elizabeth the concierge!

The spa and spa treatments were unfortunately, dreadful. It‘a located in the basement and you have to walk through corridors with conference delegates everywhere. When you get to the spa the staff were stressed and hurried you along - there was NOTHING relaxing (so much so we cancelled a second treatment). The treatment itself felt like the masseuse was on a schedule to get you out of there as quickly as possible. Quiet possibly the worst I’ve ever experience which was such a shame given the excellent service elsewhere throughout the hotel.

* We arrived very early, they allowed us to check in early. The room was not ready yet, and they offered to send an e-mail when the room is prepared. * Buffet breakfast is very good * First day when we checked in, breakfast was already closed, they allowed us to use half-closed buffet and didn't charge for it. Thanks Zaid! * They can order taxi to the airport for fixed price 200 ILS. Maybe it's standard feature in Tel-Aviv, but still it's nice you don't need to trouble dealing with gett or local taxi companies. * No paid items in minibar. * Very good restaurant at the property. Food is good, and I don't know is it expensive or not by Tel-Aviv standards, but it is cheaper than most places in London. * There's a great pizza take away across the street from the hotel if you want to eat something late night and do not want to deal with room service. * Very friendly staff. Several times I had interesting conversations about Israel culture or climate with the staff.

* While buffet breakfast is excellent, we had trouble ordering breakfast to the room. They do not have break menu, and could not explain the difference between two different breakfast types. We ended up not ordering breakfast, and went down for buffet breakfast (which they also didn't charge for, so we are actually fine with it) * We ordered vodka to the room and it was warm. Vodka was in the menu, then why they serve it warm? * No walk in shower, air conditioner and fridge are a little loud. To be fair, these issues are minor.

The location of the property. Very central in Jaffa. Clean and spacious rooms. Nice pool.

The quality of food, the selection of drinks and the service did not meet my expectations for a hotel of this category. It was very frustrating for me to call service and bar tenders multiple times to order something. Especially at a 100 $ dinner. For this reason I‘m only giving 8/10 as - to me - the value for money is not the best. Basically I need to emphasize that this is my subjective opinion. After all it’s a nice hotel and we had a nice stay.

The Setai Tel Aviv is a very exceptional and special place, both from the viewpoint of its unspeakable location and service. It’s housed in an antique building in the very heart of Yafo opposite the Clock Tower and overlooking the Mediterranean and the sidewalk of Tel Aviv. The interior design is very atmospheric. The high level of the hotel’s service makes a perfect finishing to the impression of the place: all areas of the hotel are clean, the room was clean and well equipped and supplied with everything one would need for a comfortable stay, including complimentary drinks, bathroom robes, slippers, coffee maker, kettle etc. The restaurant food is diverse based on national cuisine. The stuff and waiters were helpful, friendly, welcoming and always available. The duty manager Gustavo Scuppa is a very professional pleasant and positive person. We want to thank the staff for making our weekend unforgettable.

The hotel itself was amazing. A lovely restoration of a historical building. The person responsible for Booking.com guests, Gustavo Scuppa, was absolutely amazing. He met us at the check in, gave us a grand tour of the hotel with detailed explanation of it's history. During our stay he was very helpful with tips on where to go and what to see and every time he saw us made sure we have everything we need. Truly amazing service.

The place has only 2 elevators, on the Sabbath one of them works in a fully automatic mode stopping at every floor. This caused a lot of demand for the one functioning elevator.

it is obvious that a lot of stuff are newly hired and do not know everything. however, the weakest point of the hotel is the work of middle level managers, especially in Restaurants and bars. they tried to pretend that they manage the personnel, causing however only more chaos. line personnel definitely don’t respect them and it is obvious for guests. we stayed during the Passover, and there was no clear Passover menu. each day something could be named unavailable due to Passover and could be served one day later with no problems. hotel workers have no idea what some products are not available during the holiday, moreover, they had no interest to learn it

Fantastic hotel with extraordinary location in Tel Aviv, where you could be in the entrance of Jaffa with very nice restaurants and sunset and at the same time close to the beaches in Tel Aviv The rooms are quite comfortable with a fantastic view over the sea (the pool location is amazing) Huge variety breakfast with a very attentive and supportive staff (which is not so normal in Israel) Free wifi everywhere

Nothing special During Shabbat the Hotel is more quiet with less staff but is cultural and do not affect the stay

Fantastic location, great views. The building is beautifully designed and interior decorated, sympathetic to original brickwork. Very stylish and comfortable. Food very good quality and presentation.

Mediterranee outside deck area was not cleaned properly, food/ crumbs left too long for birds to feed on both on tables and decking. Did not find the bed linen to be of very high quality as I would have expected of this level of hotel

The location, the views, the hotel, staff, and service. Everything was excellent. The beach is less than 5 min walk. Bazaars, markets, and restaurants are a block away—lovely places to visit. The hotel's proximity to leisure venues is close. I am happy to have chosen this hotel located in the old historic suburb "Jaffa" in Tel-Aviv. The area is historical, and the hotel used to be an old prison. You will see its history on the walls and the design of the building. I stayed in room 525. It was a corner room with great windows, very spacious. The bathroom felt like a spa with a walk-in shower and bathtub and a big window overlooking the ocean. I stayed for one night before we left the country. I wish I had stayed longer, but I couldn't. I forgot to mention the bed was soft, and the windows or rooms were soundproof. You couldn't hear street noise compared to other hotels I stayed in.

Our stay at the Setai was wonderful! My husband and I were taking our honeymoon in Israel and ended our time at the Setai and we are extremely glad we did! While this hotel was the nicest we stayed at during our time in Israel, it was worth the splurge! First and foremost the staff were extremely attentive, kind and welcoming. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, the staff were hospitable and warm. We even witnessed a few difficult guests and the staff did a superb job of meeting everyone’s needs. Our flight out of Israel was late in the evening and the hotel graciously offered us a late afternoon check out which allowed us to sleep in and then leave our luggage at the hotel while we squeezed in a few more sites! Also, the breakfast was amazing and I recommend taking your meal in the beautiful courtyard! If you’re able to spend time at the Setai we highly recommend it !

While generally clean, the floors and areas like the bathtub in our room could have been a bit cleaner. Our tub had stains in it that we were able to wipe on our own. It should be noted that we could have requested this service but chose not to do so. I am positive that if we had the hotel would have taken care of this. The only other feedback I have is that in the hallway to reach our room there was some wall paneling that was lose that could be easily fixed.
