Feichter Hotel & Bistro

Loved this little family fun hotel in the heart of Bolzano. Everyone was so nice. Check in easy where we unexpectedly received a pass that covered buses and museums in the area and realized we did not need our car. (You may want to contact hotel and ask about this before booking). Great variety and quality breakfast with homemade jams and apple strudel. Honor bar onsite where you may purchase wine (bottles), drinks and snacks. The town itself is lovely. Wish we had booked more time to rent bikes and walk more around the city. A 50 min bus ride to chairlift to hiking in gorgeous Alpe di Siusi. Just loved the whole few days.

We were in the Apartment - living room with TV, double and single bedrooms, kitchen with dining table and bathroom. All for a very reasonable rate. Modern and clean with good AC. Best breakfast buffet ever for those who like healthy tasty food. Wonderful staff will make you any kind of coffee you like as often as you like. Location is dead centre, but the room was very quiet. They have parking in a garage nearby for 10 euro a night.

Not much. Freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast would be an improvement on the pasteurised juice. Wifi was a bit clunky - sometimes had to rejoin manually.

Location is excellent! You are within walking distance of all the shops, restaurants, museums and the cable car. The hotel also gives you a free pass to use for local transit, museums and the cable car which is a fun perk! Breakfast buffet was great! You can also park in their garage (~5 min walk from the hotel) for 10 euro/night if you arrive by car. Staff were friendly and informative.

The biggest issue was the air conditioning as it was very hot during our stay and the A/C would only stay on for about ~1 min before shutting off again so we spent the night with no A/C and were pretty miserable. The A/C dial is locked so you can't alter the settings to keep it on longer, we could have asked the staff about this but we only stayed one night so by the time we realized this was an issue it was late in the evening.

Clean comfortable accommodation in centre of alstadt. Shared balcony had view to mountains and dolomites. Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bolzano card provided by hotel, was fantastic. Provided free access to cable cars, trains and buses. We were there 8 days and used the card daily. Train station was 5 minutes walk from hotel.

Nothing really, our shower leaked a little, and a couple of times had to shut window due to noise from adjacent apartments. But not really an issue.

great location, 3-4 minutes walk to train station and buses. staff was super nice, especially Wolfgang. He’s the hardest worker, always doing something for the guest’s comfort. Great breakfasts that are included!!

a bit bare bones but completely adequate. not a complaint, just an observation. There seems to be an apartment below the room we stayed in. People were up late talking and laughing which we could hear so it made it a bit noisy. Perhaps another room would not have that problem.

This hotel is very high on my list. The family went out of their way to help us out. They were very efficient and helpful. One of the staff helped me get some transportation booked and it saved our lives. I am so grateful to all of them. Also, the breakfast was fantastic. I couldn’t wait for that meal- it was one of the best I have ever had. Thank you so much!!! I would come again and again!!

I wish I could have stayed there longer.

We stayed in many hotels during a recent three week vacation and this is one of our favorites. It's a family run business and the service was truly exceptional. The building is in a perfect location for accessing the town on foot and also getting to the train station. Our room was small, but beautifully renovated and perfectly efficient. Ours had a communal balcony where you could sit out and enjoy a beverage from the well stocked honor bar. Breakfast was simple, but really, really good and all of the items offered were of the highest quality; homemade, tasty and fresh, served in their restaurant or outdoors on the front patio. We had to catch a very early train on the day we left so we could not make it to breakfast, they packed up a very generous bag lunch for us to take along that morning. In addition, they gave us great dining recommendations.

the location of this hotel is great. it’s right on a Main Street of shops, 3 minute walk from the train station. the breakfast is extensive in their beautiful restaurant. the hotel itself is very nice and clean. they are very on top of cleaning your room as soon as you leave, and making the bed and replacing towels. the restaurant also has lunch for purchase which is very good. you can tell this family takes a lot of pride in the way they run this hotel and restaurant. it’s truly a wonderful place to stay. the hotel also provides a bolzano card during your stay which includes free entrance into museums, public transport and the cable car.

the rooms are on the smaller side, but that really seems like no big deal compared to how wonderful everything else is!

The breakfast was excellent - good variety of foods available, good coffee, friendly staff. We had an early checkout on the last day and the staff put together a boxed breakfast and lunch for our train ride, which was very kind. Staff were very helpful.

The hotel was great; having a kettle in the room would have been lovely, to make a cup of tea now and then. Other than that, absolutely no complaints.

Excellent breakfast with homemade cakes and marmalades.Creative juice beverages,large selection of rolls and breads.very functional though small room Family run with very friendly people . Superb location not even five minute walk from train station..

Nothing really though probably not thr best location if you come by car or have trouble walking a few steps but this did not apply to us
