Hotel Villa Sveva

We were absolutely delighted with the hotel. Like other reviews have mentioned the level of service and friendliness of the staff is really above and beyond. I don't really have anything critical to say about the hotel or the level of service they provide. Really, really well done. I'd recommend anyone looking for a quiet beach getaway near Cagliari to consider Hotel Sveva, I wouldn't hesitate to book here again if I'm back in the area.

In terms of what could have gone better, and I want to be clear that these are very minor suggestions because the hotel is great it would be nice if we could rent/borrow umbrellas or beach chairs from the hotel to take to the beach OR if the hotel could help with reserving chairs and umbrellas at one of the nearby beach clubs. This is really a minor thing though.

The hotel is in a great location, you have the beach 5 minutes away. The bus stop is 2 minutes, almost every bus is going to the town and go every 15-20minutes so its very easy to go to city center. There is a pharmacy and supermarket just around the corner, so we were happy with the location. The room was great, comfortable bed, all working in perfect condition. Staff was nice, they gave us beach towels and umbrella for the beach, that is a good way instead of renting the sunbeds and umbrellas in the beach.

The breakfast was included and was ok, but they could offer more variety. Specially of you stay over a week, having the same for breakfast was kind of boring. Maybe was a misunderstanding, but I read, the hotel had a shared kitchen but actually there is not a cooker just a toaster and little oven, if you want to cook something for late dinner . I consider was a little bit overpriced, even if was in holiday season, I think prices are to high if you compared with other countries and other types of hotel (bigger and with more amenities)

Room cleanliness very good. Hotel in quiet area and very close to suitable beach. Breakfast pleasant in the garden. Convenient by bus to Cagliari.

Parking on a Sunday is a problem. Nearby (within walking distance) restaurants not very good. Beautiful views at the restaurants but food was definitely lacking

Excellent service and very helpful staff. Family friendly and business travel friendly. Great breakfast, aircon, bus connections to the city and access to the beach were all priorities and the hotel certainly delivered on all. Lovely garden to relax in and the wifi was also excellent. Would recommend and would return.

Comfortable night stay and a very clean and stylish hotel. It's right by a bus stop that can get you directly into town really easily, as well as a 5 min walk from the beach. We stayed for one night and had the breakfast too, which was great. Staff were really friendly and made us feel comfortable. We drove and managed to park right outside the hotel on the main road.

Not the best value for money room-wise, but you do get to stay in a great location for other amenities so it's worth it.

The hotel is well located, very close to the Poetto beach. There is a bus stop nearby with a direct connection to the city centre, which is very convenient. The staff are really kind and helpful. The hotel is clean.

Our room was quite small, and so was the breakfast room. The choice of gluten-free food was rather limited.

Lovely little boutique hotel very close to the beach. Staff are really friendly and helpful they do everything the can to make yr stay comfortable! Nice little garden to relax in too.

The road one side is rather noisy unfortunately

The staff members - Roberta, Fabrizio and all the others have been awesome and all the time smiling. They have been asking all the time if everything is fine and if we need anything. After delicious breakfast, they have offered us always delicious cup of coffee and given us advice and recommendations for travelling, trips, places to visit and many more. They even provided us with umbrellas for the beach when needed. There could not be more effort made from their side to make us feel like at home. The staff even booked for us the driver to take us to the port or the airport. The place is absolutely great located close to street food, 100 meters away from the beach and supermarket right behind the corner. The safety has been on a very good level and we have felt abaolutely safe when staying there. If coming back we would definitely go to this place again without any hesitation. Do not hesitate and book this place as well. Believe me, you will not regret that.

Very slow and unstable wifi connection when staying at villa apartment. The kitchen equipment has been very weak, basically, there has been no equipment to use so be prepared to bring aome on your own. Other than that there is really nothing to complain about. Even though they have mismanaged the booking of the first night and we have been forced to sleep in different (much smaller) room than we had paid for, they have provided us with the discount what has been really nice as things like this happen.

Everything. Locations is perfect, a few steps away from Poetto beach, lovely bars and restaurants, as well as essential services such as grocery shop and pharmacy. Facilities are modern, green and great design. Breakfast is of high quality. Staff was lovely.
