Hotel Della Piccola Marina

Amazing location, staff and pool. Perfect for staying in Capri. Breakfast great as well, honestly wouldn’t stay anywhere else on the island.

Nothing significant and nothing that would prevent me from staying again! But the bed was very hard. Not just medium but super firm. If you had back issues it’s worth thinking about. Also our door on the balcony didn’t lock. Thankfully Capri is the safest place ever but I’d expect that to be working.

Very large room, staff brought me an iron and ironing board upon request. Ample closet space. Large balcony with seating. Close to town. Breakfast included with seating inside and out, and the banana pancakes were incredible. Nice pool area and adjacent area where you can gets food or beverages. Staff told me I could use my 2-prong converter in the 3-prong outlet and it worked fine.

Slow Wi-Fi in my room. Staff pointed downhill from the entrance and said the beach was just down there. What they didn't say is that it was a grueling 20+ minutes of walking down the stairs. The people walking up the stairs from the beach were exhausted and kept asking, "Are we halfway yet?", ""Are we almost there?". Unless you're in great shape, I suggest the short walk into town and take the bus to/from Piccola Marina beach.

Great quiet location, nice pool area (we were confused about the rope around the pool thinking it was closed, we were told it was to keep guests from jumping in the pool) the reception personnel are very friendly and knowledgeable, they assisted us with porters, taxi’s and restaurant recommendations. It’s within walking distance from shopping, bus station and restaurants. The staff at both the front desk and breakfast area were very friendly, great selection of food for breakfast.

No shuttle service, after getting off the ferry we chucked our luggage to the taxi “waiting area” and waited in line in the hot sun for an hour, once arriving to the street above the hotel the hotel arranged for a porter.

Great hotel! Nice pool with a view of the sea, pool bar with a good variety of drinks and food. Our room had a very comfortable bed, nice sofa, 2 bathrooms and a terrazza. Man! The Terrazza from where we could see the sea and the steeps rocks of Anacapri. Besides that, great breakfast and very near to the center and Piccola Marina. Staff very helpful and polite, with special thanks to Giamaica who endured more than 10 emails of mine and Guise who confirmed all my reservations. These girls salved my 10th years weeding anniversary. Cheers! By the way, we have the kindness of keeping your bags so you can have fun until the last minute of your staying in Capri.

Nothing big

Excellent location near main square Umbertta, very very courteous, smiling staff. Our check in, yatch excursion, breakfast, check out were seamless. Nice partial views of the sea. Walking distance from beach, square and Augustus gardens! Good breakfast spread, nice beds and toilets are well stocked! The hotel happily upgraded room for my kids so we can be nearby!

Unfortunately the hotel is facing some air-conditioning issues in Daikin machines. So our air-conditioner didn’t work at all. We had to sleep both nights keeping balcony door open. The engineer could not fix the problem till until it was time for check-out! The staff was so sorry for this mishap but I think it’s the Daikin people who need to address this asap!

This is a charming boutique hotel with an amazing location! It is a short 5-minute walk to the main piazetta yet removed enough that you feel surrounded by tranquil beauty. The hotel’s communication pre-arrival was very helpful providing guidance from the ferry and assistance with a porter who will meet you to assist with luggage. The hotel staff are very welcoming and provided assistance with all requests and questions. I appreciate the attention to detail as well as making sure you have the best experience. While waiting for my room, I was able to use the pool facilities with changing rooms, showers and a nice pool bar serving light bites and beverages. Upon my early arrival, my room was ready within an hour and even included a complimentary upgrade.

During busy season, transportation across the island can be difficult. It would be helpful to have a hotel shuttle from the main port in Marina Grande. However, the hotel does provide extensive transportation options and directions to get to the hotel. If you’d prefer arranged car service, you must notify hotel more than 36-hours in advance. If there are any handicaps or physical limitations, I would not recommend this specific property. The hotel is located down a pathway which you will need to be able to hike up. In addition, I found the elevator to be very slow and do not recommend using.

Lovely hotel with rooms that were what I considered perfect, big and spacious with balcony overlooking the bay and pool, the bathroom was equally large. Breakfast was delicious and the pool area with its snack bar was fab. The location close to the funicular meant we could walk there with our cases straight from the ferry.

The hotel location was perfect, short walk to Capri’s center and Piccola Marina. Bus stop right above the hotel, only a couple of minutes walk. Our room was lovely, view to the see and the hotel pool area. The hotel is quite small, so it was very quiet and relaxing. The breakfast was nice, the cappuccinos delicious. Also had late lunch by the pool at the snack bar, simply delicious. The hotel staff were very friendly, helped with bookings and made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Can’t think of anything. Well there were a couple of loose tiles in the room, but we were more concerned if stepping on them disturbed the guests downstairs.

Very good location. Quiet but easy walk to main square. Helpful staff, particularly the porter who cheerfully navigates all the stairs and hills with luggage making this location very accessible to travelers with a large suitcase.. without him it would be very difficult. Very good breakfast. Food at pool bar better than expected. Comfortable room.

Nothing significant. Drinks at pool bar very dilute. We got one on arrival and avoided after that. Room air conditioning very tricky. No matter how we set it we would end up freezing in the middle of the night but the room was way too hot without it.

This hotel was like going back to 1950’s Italy with the service and staff both absolutely amazing. Loved that they turned down the beds each night, organised dinner reservations and were so genuinely friendly. The pool was fantastic to relax beside in the heat.

The only thing I would mention is the pool steps were slippery and I thought a bit dangerous as I slipped and saw another person slip also. Everything else was amazing.
