A lovely and romantic place to stay and visit all the beautiful attractions of Catania! The owners of the B&B it`s a very nice couple with so helpful approaches to the guests. The apartment looks lovely and everywhere you feel the atmosphere of Catania and Sicily. It`s so close to the best places in the centre of Catania - nothing more is needed. I definitely recommend this place for your dream stay at Catania. You will feel there like at home! The Italian breakfast was at its best possible option, with sweet croissants and the best cappuccino! Greetings to Elena and her beloved family! Thank you guys for everything! We will be back for sure!

it was a little hard to locate. above a pizza restaurant, and to the right of restaurant there are 2 huge double wooden doors. this led you up the apartment.

Great location in the old town of Catania. The room was spacious and very clean. Elena is a great host who was very welcoming and helpful.

Unfortunatly, the view from the window and balcony was completely blocked due to consutructions of the building's facade. Instead of the "city center view" that was advertised on booking, all we saw was plastic sheets and a scaffold. I understand that thats not the fault of Barocco B&B, however, it kind of ruined the experience of staying in Catania's old town. I would have expected a price reduction or at least a warning from Barocco B&B.

Warm welcome with plenty of helpful tips on things to see, and nearby restaurants to enjoy. Spotless and comfortable room, in an awesome 17th century building tucked away in a quiet piazza in the historic heart of Catania. Absolutely loved this B & B! Highly recommend without any complaint or reservation.

Everything was perfect - Elena and Luigi are super hosts and gave me a lot of recommendations and helped me a lot. I would book this apartment again when I come back to Sicilia. The room is really nice with a comfy bed. A couch with TV and air conditions (2 - in both rooms). A fridge with a lot of water is included.

Just the view in the inner courtyard is not nice. But when you stay there you are more outside and explore the city.

All was good. We had slight issue with an ant nest, but the hosts reacted and sorted this very quickly.

the location was excellent. right near the centre and the cathedral. there was a restaurant cafe next to the B&B. the staff were very communicative and responsive.

Elena and Luigi were super nice and welcoming. They showed us all we needed to know about the Centre of Catania and where to get great food! The B&B was very good quality for money, with a great size room + small living room with sofa bed. The location is perfect! And we were able to leave our luggage on check out day, as long as we needed, as we were given a set of keys to access the property later during the day. A lot of space in the common living room where normally we would have had breakfast (if it weren't for COVID). Would definitely recommend!

The room faced an internal courtyard that can be a bit smelly from the restaurants on the ground floor, if you open the window. However, there is air conditioning throughout so no need to open it. The bathroom was not super new, but still good for the money we paid. Would have loved some shower gel/shampoo.

Hosts are really nice. Thank you 🙏 The hosts are very very nice. On the first day we checked in at 1:30 and they were especially waiting for us. Agreed that we would leave the luggage the next day.
