Stesicorea Palace

Very nice and helpfull staff. I got a specious room with a view to piazza Stesicoro. The location is great, close to Stesicoro metro station and the important Via Etna. About 7 minutes walk to Piazza Duomo. Right next to the hotel there is a Mcdonald's and a minimarket. A good restaurant called "trattoria del calviere" about 50 meters away.

No elevator, i had a 23kg suitcase and an 8 kg trolley. It was hard to take them up so many stairs. The bed was not so comfortable.

Very centrally located making easy to access all points of interest on foot. kind and helpful staff. Would definitely stay there again.

Aa an elderly, climbing all those steps was a bit difficult but Not impossible.

Excellent location to the old town and many attractions within walking distance. The building is old, the room is very big. It has air conditioning and a small balcony. The man at the reception is very polite and kind. Breakfast is not available in November, but there are many cafes and restaurants nearby. There are also three supermarkets 200 m from the hotel. Near to the hotel is also a big bazaar, you can buy there almost everything, is cheaper than in the shops. The weather was very pleasant - 23-25 Celsius.

There is no fridge in the room, but this is normal for Italy.

very good location, clean & spacious room, plenty of cafes etc nearby as well as 2 supermarkets. Just around the corner from main shopping street (Via Etna) and up the road from the cathedral. They were very helpful when we needed to change rooms; all sorted super quickly.

there's nothing much the hotel could do about it but if you're a light sleeper probably best not to get a room at the front. The hotel is on a busy square next door to McDonalds that's open till 2am and the street cleaning machine comes round at 6am.

Reception was very helpful and accommodating. Place was comfortable and right by the shopping district. We were able to leave our luggage at the reception before and after check in while we went out strolling. Value for money!

There’s a flight of stairs which could be a bit challenging to those with big luggages. Mcdo is just right beside the property where it can be a bit crowded at night as alot of teenagers hangout there.

Perfect location, just a few steps from the main street, Via Etnea, and all city's attractions. Also, a few meters from the bus shuttle to the airport, whitin walking distance from the central station. The room has an old fashioned vibe, but was clean and tidy.

The smell from the oriental restaurant on the ground floor was so unbearable that we couldn't keep the windows open.

Good location when you are new to the area. Very comfortable bed. Good air-conditioning unit. Nice clean room with plenty of places to put clothes and belongings. Very peaceful and quiet considering it is in the city centre.

The shower needed fixing - it had to be held by hand. A little decorating here and there. Balcony could do with a little maintenance.

The staff was very nice and the place is super clean :) The location is super central so you can walk to any place in Catania. I recommend this place, except if you have problems with stairs ... It's nothing so bad but if you need assistance to go up and down it might be a problem

Great location (right at the airport bus, walking distance to major sights and areas with restaurants, bars, etc.), spacious room, great atmosphere, helpful and kind staff on our arrival.

The shower head was broken, which I only noticed at about 10 PM at night... we needed to leave at 5 AM so there was no point in trying to fix it or change rooms, I just went without showering... :)
