Winter Garden Hotel Bergamo Airport

It had a nice ambiance, very friendly staff.

It was more or less clean but not too much. It was not neat. They ask to book the SPA in advance to guarantee to have space and privacy. We had a reservation, but it was so crowded there was no space even to place our towel or bathrobe on a seat. The guests in general have ignored the rules and nobody seems to care. One couppe seemed to be having sex in the pool, others were wearing their slippers inside the sauna and the steam room. Some people don’t take a shower before and I was smelling their perfume/deodorant inside the hot sauna.

Amazing hotel! Spacious and clean rooms, the bed is large and comfortable, the area is well-kept and beautiful and there is a large underground parking lot. The location is close to Bergamo airport, and there is a shuttle from the hotel for €5 per passenger. All the hotel staff we met were professional and friendly including the reception, the dining room and the shuttle driver. Varied and rich breakfast and everything is fresh and delicious. We will be back there again soon

Absolutely everything! I’ll tell you quick story , I’ve book room for my mom she liked so much . My mom had birthday at on the next day . I’ve asked the staff to make something small ( improvisation ) to surprise her . They did it , she was so surprised and happy that you have to be proud of your staff and the attitude they have . My mom : everyone was polite reception and breakfast staff , all clean , everything in order , the bed comfortable . Thank you so much ❤️

Everything is perfect with the property ! There is only one thing that annoys me. If the hotel bus , can’t lift you up from airport ( due to some reasons ) the taxi cost 20-25 euro for 3km or approx 7-10 min driving . The hotel bus cost 5 euro. That’s make taxi like approx 5 times or ( 500%) more expensive the be hotel bus.

Lovely hotel. Pet-friendly. Quiet spacious rooms, comfortable beds. 24/7 check-in (in case you've been told otherwise). 2nd best option to stay around Bergamo airport overnight if hotel right at the airport is not available

Hotel is very close to the airport, but not walkable from the airport. 2 minute taxi ride from the airport would cost you 25-30€ - the only late night option. It is not the hotel's fault, in fact hotel does its best to justify "airport" in its name and offers a shuttle every hour (upon request) at reasonable 5€, but that is not available out of hours.

- communication between staff members and to the guests was not smooth (e.g. there was a fire alarm test but for quite long there was nothing explained and people didn't know what to do, other example that the receptionist said we will get bathrobes with the cleaning for the spa, but the cleaning lady didn't hear this) - we booked the room for 2 person and only 1 set of towels and toiletries was in the bathroom. It turned out the 2nd set was in the cupboard. If we book for 2 people, why I need to search for where is the 2nd set, why not place it in a visible place like usually in a hotel? - at the spa the staff member was not present and our booking was delayed by 30 minutes. But they compensated for it with aperitifs so at the end it was all right.

A jewel of a hotel, away from the city, but had everything i needed. Clearly cared for, and detailing done well , i would have liked to stay longer than 1 night. It was more than the sum of its parts. I ate well, my room was comfy and cool. This was the week of the Italian Cerberus heat storm. I had a hellish bad night previously in a Barcelo hotel,Roma where aircon was rubbish and the room was 28c. It was great to find the Winter Garden, and i hope to visit again for leisure. Good secure parking. Its 5 mins from the airport.

Nothing really to mention. Everything did what it had to do. Staff were present when needed. Shower nice too. As a UK resident , id have liked a croissant at breakfast, but this was Italy, not France, and id found other things to like instead

Lovely hotel with nice rooms and cool garden and rooftop. Great location near Bergamo Airport. They had a nice jazz gig at the garden restaurant Sunday evening. It's mainly a business hotel but the vibe is much nicer than you'd expect. The bathroom has a shower bath with jacuzzi, it's not very powerful but nice to relax in.

There is a spa section which is included with the room but it was closed Sunday, the only day we were there. Would have been great to be able to relax after the trip before catching the plane next day. Beds are good but ours was very firm, perhaps too firm.

Nice spacious room, I stayed in a comfort room, a comfortable bed, a nice bathroom, a hot shower, nice food at the bar and at the restaurant, easy access to the airport, a hotel shuttle available

Lack of bathrobe and tea or coffee in my room, no English tv programms apart of newses, people closing loudly doors and talking in the corridor at 3am every morning and I stayed there for 4 nights, booking system of the pool, spa or gym not really good as booking in advance is not always possible when you are travelling on business

Great breakfast; huge room, lots of place for family

There were issues with airport shuttle and the attitude from reception did not help in resolving them, therefore ended up paying Uber's night rate. But then again they asked restaurant to stay open a bit longer to take our order as we were late, which was very much appreciated. The food from restaurant was good and fairly priced, but they overcharge 5 Euro per person (!) for a room service, which is a lot if there are two adults and two children traveling.

Great value for money given the price and other options in the area. I'm really happy with my stay

The only thing was my double bed was 2 singles pushed together, and unfortunately, they are lighter mattresses, so they come apart easily when laying on them.
