Gio'El is the perfect place to enjoy Bergamo on a cultural trip or reach its outskirts on a business trip. The historical Citta' Alta can be reached in 30' walking at slow pace, through lovely roads, while the train and bus stations are only 10' away, through very safe roads. We parked the car in the yard, and left it there for 2 days while we enjoyed town (plus breakfast was so abundant we had to walk!). The B&B is spotless clean, the dining area overlooks the skyline of the old town, the original terrazzo floors add charm to the functional setting. Nothing was overlooked. Elena is warm, attentive and provides any information one needs. Definitely a place to recommend, and return to!

Very nice place to stay in Bergamo. We arrived very late in the evening but check-in was good organized, without any issues. Same was for the check-out. Parking was easy organized too. The hotel is just walking distance from the city center and most of the sightseeings. The area around is nice, with many cafes, restaurants and shops. The room was spacious and clean and had all facilities we needed for our stay. The breakfast was also pretty good. The people are friendly and helpful. They gave us recommendation what to visit and for some restaurants and cafes. We'll go there again.

I don't know where to start with the list, so I'll get it chronologically! Position is great, bus system is really working efficiently in Bergamo. We bought the 24-hours tourist bus ticket (which is also valid for both the funiculars). Check-in with lovely Bea (I hope I remeber the name correctly!) who gave us all possible information about not just the room but the whole city. They printed their own city map with a bunch of sightseeing points, tipps, restaurants, bus lines and so on. We have been to a restaurant and a gelateria she reccommended and did not get disappointed! Then we have been shown our room and... wow! We got the Rubin room where every small detail is red and gives an energetic atmosphere! Everything was clean and comfortable. Kids are more than welcome here, there are also some books and games to borrow! Last but not least: DO BOOK THE BREAKFAST! Besides the classic buffet with fruits, yogurt, bread, cheese, ham, butter and so on you will get the most delicious offer of pastries on a tray (real ones, not supermarket ones and honestly... a lot of them!), served with freshly made espresso or cappuccino. We got to know the host, Elena, in the morning, who is as lovely as her colleague. You can feel everything is made and arranged with love here, I definitely reccommend the place!

It's a perfect place to stay of you want to visit Bergamo. It's in a great location, about 10-15 minutes from airport, not fare away from train station (only 50 minutes to Milan by train) and about 30 minutes walk to Old Town. There is also bus station just next to hotel. Room was very clean, AC was working, we had all facilities mentioned on booking. Breakfast was very tasty and we had plenty of choice. Our host Elena was looking after everyone, even book table in local restaurants (which were great). We had a fantastic time here. I highly recommend this B&B.

Stress free out of hours booking in process. Clearly communicated and understood. Lovely unique themed and named rooms. Fabulous breakfast option. Lovely friendly staff, Elena & Michela. Beatrice went out of her way to support us in working out the local bus routes and calling ahead to destinations. Entrance area nicely decorated and welcoming, loved the trinket boxes for the key!

Mini fridge would be great to keep water and drinks cold if possible.

We had such a lovely time at Gio’el B&B. Elena and Co made us feel SO welcome and at home. They gave us some really helpful tips about how to make the most of our (sadly) short stay in Bergamo. The property was in it’s own area away from the old town but you could walk about 15/20 minutes to the funicular to get up there, which is a must do. We actually loved the area where the B&B was too, as there was a great beer bar recommended by Gio’el staff called Rise Up. The staff there (Leo and Co) are so friendly and it’s a great vibe! The B&B also had such a nice feel to it - it was very clean and we had plenty of space. We did not opt for the breakfast but definitely would next time as there it has a great reviews and a lovely outdoor terrace where you can enjoy it. Thank you so much, we hope to come back soon!

The room was bright, modern and stylish. We checked-in by ourselves which was convenient. we had a bottle of water in the room, tea, coffee. The view to the rooftops is very nice. I really liked the staff: they wee online for me and the lady at the check-out was super nice and friendly. There is also a kitchen outside the room, where you can use tables, fridge and have breakfast.

Everything in the hotel was good. If it was a little closer to the city centre, it would be perfect, but it is what it is.

Fantastic building with bags of character. Elena was very kind and welcoming. Amazing view of the old town from the terrace. The breakfast was great value and our two kids really liked having a try of everything. We only stayed a night but it was a great experience. Room and bathroom were very clean.

Double Bed was a bit saggy in the middle but this was a very minor issue; my wife didn’t notice. At this price it was a very good value.

Host is very kind and helpful! And that breakfast… it is more than worth that 8€. Room was clean. We had water and tea in our room.

There is only one shop near by which is close until 8PM but I think it is normal for Bergamo… The only truly problem we had was our bad. It was noisy when You switch side and my girlfriend was waking up :)

The Gio’el B&B was a brief, one night stay for us - a warm bed, an ok shower, clean and quiet. It was located in an old manor a few miles outside town with ample (paid) parking. It reminded me of a very nicely renovated college dormitory. No complaints.
