B&B Hotel Bergamo

It’s close to the railway station and the bus from the airport stops nearby too. The centre of Bergamo is an easy 10 minute walk. The hotel offers an easy out of hours check in facility - just be mindful of people looking over your should while using this facility. Your room number and PIN code is provided on a check in slip of paper which can be easily seen by others on the screen. The reception area offers snacks, drinks and personal items you may need, all at good prices.

We had guests above our room who moved their furniture around….. why do guests move furniture in the night I have no idea!!!

Hotel is located around 8 minutes on foot from the central station and bus stop from the airport - line No. 1. You can walk to the city bassa center in 15 -20 minutes. The hotel is located close to railway tracks but you can't hear the noise with the windows closed. The hotel has a car parking. The rooms are large and clean and they are cleaned daily. Beds very comfortable. There are towels, bath accessories, hair dryer, AC, tv and wifi. In addition, there are also vending machines with snacks and coffee which are located in the hotel next to the reception. Breakfast is also available on site. When it comes to staff service - it was great. The reception is open 24 hours but it is also possible to self-service with an access code if you want to enter the hotel. Reception staff - super friendly, helpful and fluently speaking English. I especially wanted to thank Fraaz who was very professional, gave detailed information, always helpful and smiling. A very positive and professional person. Definitely, if I come back, this will be my first hotel choice in Bergamo. Thank you for a great stay in Bergamo

This hotel was just a short walking distance from Citta Bassa and very easy to walk to the city centre. It was very good value for money and was spotlessly clean. We didn’t have the breakfast as we were leaving early but it seemed good value for money. The reception area sold many things such as food and alcohol or even the old thing you might have forgotten like toiletries. Check in was easy and because we were very early our bags were stored for us. On returning to the hotel we found our bags had already been moved from storage to our room. The room was basic but perfect for what we were looking for. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows some of the best I’ve slept on. Parking at the hotel was great and you could either park underneath or in a near open air car park also owned by the hotel. It was very reasonable at €10 and €5 respectively. The best thing about the hotel was by far the staff. They couldn’t do enough for you and the shining star in a very bright sky was Frazz. He is worth so much more than 10/10. Travelling through Italy in July 2023 and will look to stay at any sister hotels because of this experience.

Absolutely lovely hotel!! My room had a balcony, super nice toiletries, and the bed was really comfortable. I also found having a shop inside the hotel really handy and what to say about breakfast? Superb. I really enjoyed that they did not have the usual juices but some fancy flavours like blueberries with cinnamon and apple with aloe vera. Everything was delicious. Special mention to receptionists Tatiana and Fraaz who were so helpful! Definitely will return to this hotel next time I visit Bergamo for work.

Staff at the reception were extremely kind and helpful, and the reception was also open late, which was fantastic for us as our flight was delayed so we didn't arrive until gone 11pm. The hotel was a couple of stops on the Number 1 bus from the airport, and it was all extremely easy and stress-free. We were checked in quickly and could get straight to our room, which was a lovely side and had a nice bathroom inside. It was a good temperature, very clean and overall we were very happy with our stay here.

The stay was great, and we were only there for 1 night so there's not much that can go wrong in that time! The only thing to note was our room was next to the lift/elevator, so we could hear guests walking through the corridors through the night and morning.

Only 1 socket for plugs in the room. USB ports in the wall didn't work. So we weren't able to charge more than one device at a time. Shower was a little bit grimy on the outside, but it was clean apart from that. Vending machines only took coins, which was a little bit inconvenient, but not the end of the world.

The Staff at Reception were super nice to me and went out of their way to find me a large taxi that I needed. They were accommodating with everything and were a pleasure to deal with. Also, unlike many hotels that are old and stale, the B&B was very clean, light, and bright. This was a refreshing experience for a change. The price was excellent too when compared to other hotels in the near vicinity. Plus, it was really close to the central station and a short walk into town.

Unfortunately, the lift was not working when I stayed, which was really inconvenient as I had oversized luggage to carry to and from the second floor. If this is important to you, be sure to check with them before booking.

Breakfast was good, no big variation of food but fresh and tasty. 600 m fron the centre of Citta Bassa, not far. Self-check in after 23:00 via an automatic machine outside the main entrance. Should be easier as a lot of information was needed. I had a problem with my credit card and I had to use a cashcard, so I called them to avoid entering all this info again. The guy was polite. Room was big enough and clean. Bed was very good.

Good size room with great AC and a large window for natural light. Daily housekeeping was a huge bonus and basic toiletries were provided. Small desk space for working and ample closet space to organize clothing/belonging. All staff we interacted with were very helpful and friendly. We had a quiet stay- no disturbance from other guests and no noise from outside. Keypad entry to our room so we didn’t have to worry about keeping track of a key. Frozen foods and beverages available for purchase in the lobby and large space for sitting and/or dining. Short walk to a large grocery store. Option for breakfast buffet was nice, though we decided to opt out (€7/person).

It would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room as we like to try not to eat out every meal, every day. But we were able to make do. Shower in our room was very tiny. Location was a little farther from the center of town then we preferred, but only because we tend to go out in the morning, back midday, and then out again. It’s really only a 10-15 minute walk to the center but going back and forth in 85 degree weather got tiring! Also a far walk from the funicular up to old town, but I believe there ar e busses. We always walked and it was doable.
