Wow, this is such a fantastic property I don't know where to start. First the warm, welcome greeting by Francesca waiting in the street for our arrival. Some bowls of fresh fruit as a greeting. The large main room & bedroom with very high ceilings. The large patio overlooking restaurant below. The history of the property, many of Francesca's family & ancestors can be found in pictures on the walls. The breakfast was wonderful.... too much to consume. Great location... walking distance to all of historical Lecce. Francesca's utility kit with a 3-prong electrical adapter and other useful things that I can't remember. Lots of maps available to help you navigate.

Getting up/down the stairs with luggage was not the easiest but we're in our 70's. The staircases were wide and the steps nice & flat. Loved opening up the windows but there were a few bugs that intruded. The shower could use a non-slip mat. It slopes a bit for drainage and is slippery when wet. I almost had a fall.

The location is amazing. The owner is a wonderful and very helpful lady. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous, a lot of space, very high ceilings, the furniture makes you feel like you're in a museum but very cozy at the same time. They bring you breakfast in your guest room, the breakfast is very good. The terrace with a lot of plants is very relaxing. Another very important feature - huge radiators, which is great if you are travelling during in any other season than summer. All in all - the best stay in my life so far.

Everything was perfect

Beautiful, huge suite in a centuries old family palazzo. We were very warmly welcomed be Francesca, who seemed genuinely honoured to host us in her family home. But it was an honour for us to be there, stepping back in time to another era, in a building filled with history. This was more than a stay in an elegant suite; it was a once in a lifetime experience!

The B&B accommodation is truly beautiful. The high ceilings, outdoor area / terrace all present beautiful views. There is air con in the bedroom for comfort. The breakfast was beautifully presented each morning and when we requested some changes Franscesca was so accommodating and helpful to assist.

Nothing. The B&B is at a higher floor so if you have young children just be aware with luggage. However, again, Franscsca greeted us personally and we had help to bring items upstairs to truly feel welcome.

If we could we would rate this B&B 11/10. The hosts were friendly and attentive to anything we needed. Francesca booked us into a little restaurant the night we arrived and we had a super meal typical to the region. The room was palatial in size and grandeur with a private terrace. The breakfast each morning was substantial with plenty of choice and served at the dining table. It was a very unique experience and highly recommended.

Not a thing!

This was truly a one of a kind stay and an opportunity to experience living in a palace! The owner was very gracious, accommodating and helpful and presented us with a lovely breakfast right there I. our very own dining room And we had a living room as well as a large private terrace.

The property was great even if we did have to park a bit away due to NO PARKING in the old part of Lecce. We have light luggage and didn’t mind the walk.

The property is so unique! We were waking distance to old town. The property itself was so spacious! Francisca is the best hostess!

Because it is in old town, you couldn’t drive the car to the property, it must be reached on foot. Francisca helped us with parking, which was such a great help for the duration of our stay!

You really feel like a King or queen in this place. It’s the same as in the pictures, with a really big terrace, the bedrooms are huge. It’s a lovely place to stay, pretty quiet, you don’t hear any sounds. Francesca and her husband do everything to make you feel at home, if you text them, they react within a minute. Really good. My compliments for you, great work.

The mattress on the bed of the smaller room it’s pretty soft, maybe it would be an idea to change it. But this should not hold you, you should definitely stay at this place

A beautiful, historic property in the heart of a Lecce. The hosts were very helpful and polite. The breakfasts were sublime! If you like mod cons like lifts, special mattresses and a spacious bathroom this place isn’t for you. But if you appreciate good food, peace, nature, beauty and history you will love it.

Gorgeous big rooms, and a huge balcony. Sumptuous breakfast served by gracious helpful hosts. Located in the heart of the old city, yet accessible by taxi. Classy restaurant on the ground floor. We loved it.
