Fly Decó Hotel

Nice location, right in front of the beach, where is a small part separated for hotel’s guests.

The AC turned on by itself all the time and was automatically set up to 22 degrees, which is not good compared to outside temperature. Be careful to don’t catch cold.

We stayed at this hotel for one night while traveling through Rome. It took us approximately 20 minutes to get there from the airport and was ideally located right across the street from the beach and within an easy walk of the boardwalk as well as many restaurants and shops. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They have a bar on the ground floor with live music in the evenings. I believe there is also a bar on the rooftop, although we weren't able to check it out as there was a wedding the night we were there. This hotel is also located within a close walk to the train station which we took to visit Ostia Antica (highly recommend). They allowed us to store our luggage while we visited the ruins and we returned to catch our transport back to the hotel. The complimentary breakfast was great with many choices from eggs and bacon to pastries, fresh fruit and pancakes.

The rooms were on the small side but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel if you are staying in the area.

The mattress and sheets were very comfortable. The look and feel of the room was lovely. The view was amazing. It all had a fresh and modern feel.

The pillows were the weakest point on the bed and were so flat they were practically useless. Having the room directly under the roof top bar caused a LOT of noise in the room, mostly from what sounded like chairs being dragged around. The air conditioning in the room was okay, but the bathroom didn't seem to get any airflow whatsoever, and if you were in the bathroom with the door closed for more than a few minutes, it would cook.

Nice location across the street from the sea. we had a room with a view of the sea on 2 sides which was beautiful. The room was small but efficiently laid out and the bathroom was quite nice and well appointed. The hotel cleaning staff were very nice and did a great job. Breakfast was a nice buffet including scrambled eggs, yogurt, breads, cheese, fruit and meat. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel was an excellent value. I would not recommend you use the “shuttle” provided by the hotel as it cost 12 euros per person and with 2 people it was about the same as a taxi. Directions from the hotel as to when and where our driver would come were not correct and we had to make several phone calls to get this straightened out.

Pretty much everything. Attentive staff, beautiful location right in the sea. Not very practical for a beach holiday as there is nowhere to hang west swimming suits and towels ( windows are tiny and no balconies) but a part from that the rooms are very well designed, good size even the smaller room we had, comfortable beds, and practical furnitures

Very very poor breakfast. The price for the room wasn’t low at all considering the time of the year and for a regular week day. A good breakfast would have made a huge difference.

- missing local selection of food for breakfast, the food was the same every day - no extra services considering 4* hotel (no gym, no spa, no private beach) - hotel has an agreement with beach for hotel guests, however the price is the same as for non-hotel guests. Beach is one of the most expensive in the area, with no additional services and missing bar or restaurant, including a warning that there are stones in the sea (dangerous for swimming)

The facility is so uplifting and nice. You enjoy the view in the mini caffe in lobby area with Italian coffee and gelato. The staff is super friendly. The breakfast was so good, you find everything you ask for. The location is so central - you walk to everywhere. It is close to Lido Centre - the train station - but overall Fly Deco is by far the best spot to stay in the area. Definitely would go back and recommend. Value for the money - if you are willing to pay a bit more and have more comfort in the mind.

The bathroom hanger on the wall was broken - although i notified the staff they did not take care of it during our stay. It would be handy to have hangers in the bathroom.

The staff was nice and kind, the breakfast is fresh (although maybe limited in its choices), good position to quickly reach the airport with a car, taxi or bus.

The rooms are not properly sound proof: you can hear people talking outside, as well as every door opening and closing in the corridor. In low season might be fine, it looks like there is not so much movement outside until late. Some flickering lights and "windy shower" (most likely from the window not properly sealed).

hotel is absolutely beautiful and very nice and clean, room has been cleaning every day and very high specs. really great and tasty breakfast and very nice and helpful people. Absolutely recommended hotel opposite the beach and very close to the train station and big carrefour market.

I will change maybe something on the breakfast menu something different than scrambled egg every day. all the rest very tasty

Great stay with friends and family. Smart, clean hotel directly opposite the beach and and easy walk to the bars and cafes. No balconies to the rooms and the windows don't open, but all air conditioned. Lovely seating areas outside and a great roof top terrace bar (expensive!) with a great view.

It would have been nice to have been able to have a cup of coffee on the roof.
