UNAHOTELS Century Milano

The Location was perfect. not terribly far (About a 25 minute walk) as I recall it from the Duomo and very close to the main Train station, Roughly a 10 minute walk. (Just make sure you use the correct exit point to get to the train station otherwise its longer) The room was big for the price range and the bed was super comfy. Desk, sofa, built in fridge area. Loved the addition of the pod coffee machine. View of the city was lovely. very silent room. Chaotic breakfast aside, would absolutely stay here again. Reception staff are friendly and English was great.

Only concern would be breakfast was a bit chaotic. seemed not to be enough space although we fortunately got a table quickly. Breakfast its self was good. loads of choice and of a good quality. Coffee machines had run out of coffee. had to wait for that. The gent running the breakfast area seemed a little overwhelmed and became a bit confrontational with a guest. Although the guest was pretty rude 1st. I think an extra staff member may have eased the situation.

The hotel is really close to the main station. The room I stayed in (Classic Junior Suite) was very large with a big shower with a rain shower head. The room also came with a mini bar and there was a very good varied breakfast.

Whilst close to the station, the hotel was difficult to get to. To get to the hotel you need to go through gates sectioning off an area to a number of properties. I didn’t know I could go through these gates so I did a full lap of the block before I accepted that I needed to go through one of these gates (there were several gates around the block). I would recommend the hotel put signage on these gates to help guests find their way.

We've got room #29 and the room was spacious! It comes with a comfy kind sized bed with 2 normal pillows which you can as for the extras pillow at the reception. There was a Treadmill in the room but we did get to use it. The breakfast room on 1st floor, which open from 7.00-10.30 was crowed almost always, but you will still manage to get the seat. Various type of sweet & savory with very good taste. I really recommend everyone to choose the stay with breakfast. For those who travel to the hotel by train or metro, i recommend to walk to the hotel heading to Luigi Galvani Street then turn left to Fabio Filzi Street, the hotel sign will be on your right hand side. It is shorter than the Google Map search as it use it at first walk. There is the hotel sign standing in front of the gate which you have to go straight through the another building to see the entrance of the hotel. With this route from train station to this gate, the path is still good for big luggage or stroller.

As a 4 stars hotel, there was only 1 free paper bottle of still water offered in my room while we were staying 3 nights with 2 people in room and without a kettle or coffee/tea set free service. Don't follow the google map route as it is for CAR entry, if you travel by foot, better see my recommend on the waling path, it is shorter.

The breakfast, Location, and size of the room are good. I would recommend booking the breakfast option.

Not really a 4-star hotel though. room service is very slow, had to call 3 times just to get extra shampoo.

The temperature of my room was warm and they couldn't fix it I opened the windows to try to cool it down because it was 4C degree outside but didn't work and was horrible to sleep because of the noise

I came here for the fencing world championship and I wanted to check in earlier, the receptionist let me check in at 12 p.m., the room was very spacious, and comfortable, with perfect AC, and a good location, just sometimes it is hard to find, breakfast was very good, also you have refreshing ice tea in the lobby.

The TV was not working, also the phone to ring, so I could not get it fixed. It would be nicer if this kind of hotel had a swimming pool and maybe a small gym, as running in Milan with +33 degrees is not really an option. Also, the hotel is very inside, so it is safe but it is hard to find at first glance.

Close to central train station. very quiet - set back from traffic and pedestrian noise. Large spacious room with natural light through multiple windows. comfortable bedding.

We sent multiple messages to hotel through Booking.com but hotel never responded. I had to make international call from Australia to ensure hotel held our room as I had booked previous night to ensure access early next morning. The hotel sent auto-generated messages via booking.com before stay, during and after so messaging platform was operational. Requests to reception required repeated follow up for action. Hot water kettle faulty resulting in no power to room (3 calls to reception before eventual action). Room safe was locked shut with error (2 calls to reception - gave up -so no action during 3 night stay). Female reception attendant appeared stern and unfriendly.

Everything was perfect, we are pleased with our stay except the air condition. They provide lots of complimentary items especially regarding to personal care. Location was max. 5 minutes walk- away from the main train station and subways. Room was spacious and very well cleaned every day. Breakfast buffet was good.

Room was really cold after midnight. we couldnt sleep well even they gave us extra blankets. i told the problem with the AC to the receptionist and she said air condition is working only 7 hours a day(3 in the morning between 7 am and 10 am and 4 hours in the evening between 6 pm and 10 pm) and they say this is our company policy. The max temperature that you can set inside the rooom is 23, i asked the staff to increase from the system, they increased to 24 which was again not enough

Good big rooms, bathtub, clean rooms but a bit tired.. we had the room on the 13th floor. Quite good location, only 20 minutes from the centre on foot, near milano centrale. We chose this hotel because 1- convenient to reach from the Malpensa airport (railway or bus directly and cost 10€) and it’s not far from the city centre on foot as we try not to use public transport. Breakfast was rich and enough time (7-11). We asked for a kettle and slippers and additional water. Sockets for usb! Everything was delivered in a blink of an eye! Good service! Good sound protection!

Water draining was not very good, room needs some renovation.
