Hotel Marconi

Location, the room, very good and helpful staff. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Milan

Room temperature was too high and not possible to regulate. A suggestion to breakfast team. Please make sure the food is available till end of breakfast time.

A classical 4 star hotel. Pretty spacy room, beautiful bathroom, very good beds and comfortable pillows. Flexible bedding possibilities. Very nice fresh fruit in breakfast buffet, a lot of choice (on the sweet side in particular). Windows with a good noise isolation, although the tram down the street was audible (ask backyard side room if an issue - was not a issue for us). Nice rooftop terrace with bar and music in the evenings, with views. Nice balconies on some floors, accessible from the staircase.

I would have appreciated the possibility to easily communicate if you don't want your towels to be changed every day or your room cleaned up.

Location of you are taking trains

People at the counter are rude. Breakfast is very basic, and to get a coffee is a nightmare. Forget about express check out ... need to do it on their time, so consider extra time if you have a train to catch

The location of the hotel was great. It is close to the metro station and to the Stazione Centrale (10 min. walk. The area is safe and there are plenty of restaurants and stores. The room was clean and quite spatious and the breakfast was fresh and tasty.

The room was very cold. The heating system didn’t work properly. It only worked the first two days, but it was still cold in the room, because it functioned improproperly. The third day and night it didn’t work at all! In Milan in March, the temperatures outside are quite low, so a functioning heating system is mandatory. The walls are very thin, you can hear everything from other rooms.

Mattress is spectacular!

- Great location. Close to the rail and tram stations. It's worth finding out about the tram stops nearby and where the trams run to. There are restaurants all around the hotel and within the train station. Also, there is a supermarket opposite to buy drinks/snacks for your day. - Room. The room is spacious with everything you need. Shower gel and shampoo is provided. Mini fridge is available within the room. Linen and towels are changed daily. - Breakfast. I recommend opting for the breakfast. It was varied and plentiful. Included freshly baked crossiants, fruit, baked items, bacon/egg, cereal, yoghurt, variety of cheese and meats. - Easy check in and check out. ' Beautiful and ornate Italian hotel

Check in could have been more informative. No information was given about breakfast. I had to come onto here to find out (7 - 10am)

Clean room and quite spacious. Good location

There was a strange smell when we first entered the room and stayed for the day. Pretty poor experience with the breakfast as in the second day we went to the table at 9:40am which still gave us 20 min of full service of breakfast. Unfortunately, there was not much left and they did not add new products (we were not the only ones coming that time). We asked for some toasted bread and after 10 minutes they brought exactly 4 slices of bread. That was not pleasant at all as we paired for it.

Room was spacious with also spacious bathroom. Very clean. Breakfast was delicious with very good choise, but fresh made and tasty croissant was the best! Locatios is super! Near Centrale, 5 minutes by foot. Also to Brera by foot 20-25 minutes and to Duomo by foot 30 minutes, Corso Buenos Aires 15 minutes by foot. If you prefer public transportation metro station is 3 minutes from the hotel. Staff was very kind and helpful. I recommend this hotel!

One thing, not so important, lobby could be renovated a bit.

- Very helpful staff. - Location is very helpful to get around and the proximity to the train statin helps alot for trips to the lakes, Verona or even Venice - You will find very good restaurants around a maximum 10 minute walk - The breakfast is varied and fresh; a good start for the day - The bed is comfortable - The rooms are cleaned each day

The only negative aspect is the fact that light sleepers will tend to hear the tram on the street, but we are and were not really deranged by it.

The morning buffet was supper, they could put a coffee/tee machine so that everyone could serve themselves, instead of waiting for the service personnel to come ask the visitors what they would like to drink. Most of the times they came when i was 1/2way on my breakfast. But they were friendly. I loved the receptionist, they were soo helpful and always ready to help. The cleaning lady did our room ,changed our beddings everyday, mann big up to them, and fresh and clean towels everyday, i really liked that.
