Hotel Mediolanum

The location next to Grand Centrale and only 20 min walk to city centre. Lobby room bathroom very clean but some things are a bit dated like fridge not super cool. Breakfast was good and loads of choices .they kept our luggage free of charge for the day. That was brilliant.

I ask 3 members of staff about lake Como as we couldn't make head to tails from the time table for the ferry and no tourist office was open on Sunday afternoon and I was just told ask at the ferry port. So not very helpful that way . We just got brushed off . The mattress was not a fantastic shape.

The staff were excellent. The location was ideal for our trip. The bathroom was also excellent in terms of facility and cleanliness

In our room, there air conditioning and fuse box were incredibly loud and had to be switched off in the middle of the night. The walls were also very thin/no soundproof which was not great at night. We didn’t have breakfast but for €10 seemed expensive given the number of cafes nearby. The overall cost per night was also quite expensive given the overall facilities.

A lovely, well priced hotel with an excellent breakfast that was included with the stay. The room was clean, and had some modern, funky art vibes about it. It was equipped with everything I needed. The location is great as well, a short 10-minute walk from the train station, or 15–20-minute walk into the heart of Milan. In the surrounding areas, it is easy to indulge in the nightlife as there are many restaurants in the area to choose from!

The location is great. It’s not far from Milano Centrale. In front of the hotel you have 2 amazing restaurants, the Jumpling and the Antica (for the last one, you likely need to book before). From the hotel you can walk 30 min to the cathedral. The hotel is very colourful. There is the atmosphere of an hostel with the comfort of an hotel. The decoration is nice. The cappuccino served at the breakfast is excellent. The staff is amazing and they all seem to speak minium 3 languages.

What will prevent me to come back in the hotel unfortunately is only the size of the shower. Not everyone can comfortably fit in it and you can even get hurt because it’s so small. It’s the smallest shower I have even seen in my life. If it was not the bathroom I would 100% come back.

it was just perfect! there’s nothing else to say! the staff were all friendly and helpful. breakfast and service were better that I could imagine. the towels were changed daily. I must thank cleaning ladies for room service. also I want to express my gratitude to people who work at the reception and to the man who welcomed us in the restaurant, they provide really good service! air conditioner was working fine. the location is also convenient. I think I’ll stay there again one day. it’s just my place. I felt comfortable and fine there.

maybe, noise at night, but I was too tired and sleep fine 😄

The staff was friendly and helpful. Ronaldo from breakfast buffet was specially attentive and kind, also super diligent! Great guy! The hotel has a weird/cool vibe about it, and we kind of dug it :) The room was not huge but spacious enough for 3 people (we asked for a triple room with 3 individual beds). The bathroom was really pretty, good lighting, small-yet comfy shower with perfect temperature and water pressure. We would definitely return. Simple but yummy breakfast.

Mattresses were not too comfortable. Kind of thin and a bit hard (the type you can stay at without any back pain but don't really feel that good).

Chic front lobby staffed by friendly guys who remember you. Pretty good breakfast offered. The room is not tiny, I think it's an average size compared with European hotel rooms. The room was clean and the fresh paint definitely livened up the environment, along with the fun light switch. And the location is great, just a short walk to Milano Centrale train station and metro stop.

The bathroom was just a little cramped but overall good.

The staff are nice and helpful, room and hotel is very clean. Location is great - near trains, trams, supermarket and restaurants. The bed is comfortable (my 2 year old daughter slept really well) and you can’t really hear the sound of the air conditioner which is really good because it’s quiet at night. They have an electric kettle which many hotels in Milan doesn’t have.

I really liked the design, the furnitures and colours. The bed was super comfortable and I requested a room with a bath and they gave me one, without any issues. Super nice and helpful. The guy at the desk (forgot his name, sorry) was very helpful and nice, I didn’t have the right plug adaptor to use to charge my phone and he let me borrow one from the reception, which I gave back when I checked out. I was super satisfied.

I wish the bar was open! Maybe my stay wasn’t the right time, I really wanted to experience the hotel’s bar and the drinks, sadly it was closed. It wasn’t the end of the world, I found a place for drinks near by. That’s another reason why I’m definitely returning to the hotel in the future, to try the bar! Haha

Hotel is great, good location, a few minutes to the railway station and 20 min to the city center by walk. Breakfast is mostly the same every day, but very tasty. Room is clean, all reception staff was very helpful and nice.
