Pontenuovo Bed0

The whole place is nicely decorated, the room is big and clean. Nice balcony with floor to ceiling glass window. Small kitchenette with coffee machine / microwave / sink. Towels were changed everyday but they can be a bit old with holes.

The water pipes in the wall was very loud, it feels like they are right next to your head when you are in bed. Can easily wake you up at night. Could use some sound proofing. The AC is baldy positioned in the room so it’s quite inefficient, you can nearly feel it even if it’s on all day. Location is a bit away from the nice parts of the city. Can be a sketchy late at night.

Nice and spaciuos apartment/room. The bed was comfortable and the house keeping came every day to make the bed. Also the tea and coffee was refilled if needed. The host was not often in the accommodation but when she was there she was very helpful and friendly. If wanted you can have fresh towels every day. Breakfast in a nearby cafe consited of a hot coffee and a croissant of your choice, which was okay. The people there were not very welcoming in the first days, but became more friendly after some days. We stayed for 8 nights.

The house keeping could have done a better job at cleaning the shower and could pay more attention to refill empty shower utensils. Some of the furniture was old and not in good condition any more, in particular the couch in our room. Also the kitchen was very poorly equipped.

Everything was spotless, both the apartment and common areas are modern and bright. Our room was much better than we expected, very spacious and with high ceilings, featuring a little balcony and plenty of natural sunlight. Communication with Daniela was very fluid, she was always available to give us tips and was very flexible with check-in time, she even let us store our luggage upon check-out and lent us a beach umbrella! The location is great, close to a big avenue with buses and shops, but you don't hear a noise from the street thanks to the window isolation. We definitely recommend it!

The pillows were a bit too soft for our taste and the bed structure could be a bit more solid, but still we slept very comfortably

The decor was lovely and the size of the room very spacious beyond expectation. The bathroom was beautiful too and ample. The whole accomodation was clean. Although we never got to meet the owner, she was very present and willing to help us via what's up and resolve anything that would come up.

The only thing I would add, would be some cutlery and kitchen utensils such as plates, olive oil, washing utensils and napkins/kitchen paper so that someone could dine indoors, since there is an oven to prepare food (it has a coffee machine and capsules). I would may add a bit more to the breakfast (you can have a coffee and one item of a sweet pastry, maybe could add a salty item as well).

Beautifully light and spacious room with high ceilings and tall French windows overlooking a characterful Neopolitan street. Spotlessly clean and thoughtfully arranged with a coffee machine, microwave and fridge, table and chairs, a desk/dressing table and a large, extremely comfortable bed. Lovely bathroom with a generous shower, plenty of towels and basic toiletries. The building is in an old tenement courtyard behind secure gates. Pontenuovo Bed is a hidden gem for a stay in Naples, close to the historic centre and the train station, and only a twenty minute bus ride from the airport. It was a shame we were only passing through as it would have been the ideal place to base ourselves and explore the city properly. Our host Daniela was lovely. Very happy, thanks!

Everything was fine!

Beautiful, spacious room, exceptionally clean and in a very convenient location. The communication with the host was quick and effective. We checked in late in the evening without a problem. As a couple of women we felt comfortable and safe in the area and we enjoyed the little breakfast at the nearby café; it actually made us feel like locals and it was great to see local businesses supporting each other.

The coffee machine was good but we would have liked a kettle to make some tea as one of us is not a coffee drinker. The shower products could have been a bit better.

Spacious room. Comfy bed. Great little breakfast at the local cafe - fresh delicious pastry and great coffee (better than all my other stays that provided shop-bought pastry/ snacks in the room). Daniela was responsive and allowed me to leave my luggage as I had a late flight which I really appreciated :)

There was a stale water smell in the bathroom after some heavy overnight rain - but again Daniela was super responsive and the cleaner sorted it the following morning. The kitchen only has cups - as there is a microwave provided, it might be nice to have a few more things in the kitchen area such as a couple of plates/bowls/cutlery.

Great location, in the center of Naples. 15 minutes walk from the Garibaldi Trainstation. There is a small shop on the corner. The bathroom is beautiful, big and clean. The room itself was big. The host is very nice, and answered to all my questions and problems quickly.

The bed was squeaky, the towels had a weird smell. The toiletries weren’t the best either, but at least they had them. In the kitchen you only have 3 mugs, and a beer/wine opener. (some wineglasses would have been great!)

Nice large spacious room and private bath. Convenient breakfast at a cafe down the street. Very quiet! Watch for signage (as opposed to address number) when finding this property. Staircase (up 2 flights) around the corner to the right from the entrance gate may not have been explicitly mentioned in the instructions, but easy enough to find.

A slightly better description of how to get in and where breakfast was available might be helpful for future guests, but the proprietor was very responsive when asked.

The accommodation was extremely clean and fresh and the host (Daniella) could not have been more helpful! She made contact with us, via text, asking for time of arrival etc. and made herself available for any help or advice during our stay. She even ordered a taxi for us back to the airport on our final day, due to my lack of Italian. Daniella also recommended a local restaurant to us, which was excellent. All in all, our short stay in Naples was a thoroughly enjoyable one, made even more pleasurable with us staying in wonderful accommodation. I wholeheartedly recommend anyone to stay at Pontenuovo Bed!

There was nothing about Pontenuovo Bed that we didn't like.
