We highly recommend staying at Anima Partenopea. The place is located in the very center of the old town of Naples. The owners are very nice and helpful, they will be happy to order a taxi and do their best to make your stay with them memorable. The tenement house where the rooms for rent are located is extremely atmospheric and perfectly reflects the spirit of Naples - a naughty city :-) Everything is close from here. The hostess serves breakfast in the room, taking into account the individual preferences of guests, the rooms are very clean, the beds are comfortable, the air conditioning is efficient, what more could you want? Anima Partenopea and its hosts - we will remember and recommend your kind and professional service!

It's on the fringe of the old town and easy to walk to all the attractions. The public transport is within a 15-minute walk away. It is very convenient to get to Pompei and other major attractions. There are plenty of cafes, mini-markets and restaurants within walking distance. The apartment itself was as described. It's charming and authentic. It was clean and a great size for me and my daughters. Quiet location and quiet room. I'm sensitive to noise, and I slept easily. I felt very safe and comfortable. I highly recommend it.

If I have to mention something, it would be the breakfast. The coffee was great, but the pastries were average. It is not a deal breaker for me :)

The staff was very kind, you feel in a familiar atmosphere, you have several breakfast options that you decide the day before and then the next morning you have everything served to eat in your room. The location is very central, you can walk to the train station, you have places to eat or buy souvenirs nearby. They were also very friendly with my dog, which I really appreciated.

From the outside the place is not very nice, but I think the center of Naples is like that. So don't limit yourself to choose this accommodation for that reason, because all the rest of the services are worth it.

We’ve always heard of the Neapolitan warmth. Got firsthand experience at Anima Partenopea. And in bountiful. Right from the time we stepped in, where we were offered tea and coffee (out of schedule)… to the time a cab was called for us to leave (way beyond check-out hours). Between all this, the exchange of kindness, the Neapolitan-styled building and décor, the high ceilings with towering windows, delicious spread of homemade breakfast on a tray, an accurate itinerary of what & where to eat, places to visit, coffee bars, pizzeria’s, etc. Speaking of pizzeria’s, basilica’s and Caravaggio’s, the B&B is located at one end of Via dei Tribunali – you cannot get a better location than this if you wish to get the real sense and taste of Napoli. With Spaccanapoli running adjacent to it and Via Toledo meeting both streets perpendicularly at the other end. Yet, it’s located in a quiet zone with warm comfy beds when it comes to a good night’s rest. Everything looked and felt just how we had seen it on Bookings.com - just elevated a hundred notches higher coz how does one depict benevolence and graciousness in pictures? Add to this, checking in at a time when Napoli just won Serie A made Naples super special. They say Naples is a place to visit before you die. For my wife, my two sons and me, the phrase has changed to: Naples is a place to Re-visit before you die. Grazie mille. Ci Vidiamo, Patrizia and Pierluca.

The service was excellent, the air conditioning worked great, the room was cute and comfortable, and the breakfast was good with a good assortment. The room was part of a bed and breakfast that occupied a floor in a private, gated building, so it was set back from the street and very quiet. The description said there was a washing machine in the room, but it is actually the owner who launders and takes care of your clothes for you while you enjoy the city. Very sweet and friendly family who runs it. They allowed us to store our luggage in the lobby until our room was ready.

The entrance gate was not identifiable with a sign, so it was a little hard to find. The directions provided for check-in provided a name for the apartment buzzer, and that is how we were able to find the right gate.

We could choose what we would like for breakfast every single morning. Also, our breakfast was delivered to our room at times of our choice, which we found very convenient when it came to planning our days. The location is perfect for those who want to experience the city without guided tours and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly.

The accommodation exceeded our expectations so we can’t think of anything to complain or be upset about.

Why stay at Anima Partenopea when you can luxuriate at some name-brand property along the Gulf of Naples? Because you are guaranteed to be welcomed more warmly and treated more specially during your stay and because residing, even for a short time, at this B&B inside a palazzo from centuries ago is the closest you will get to experiencing the Neapolitan Soul. The owners are incredibly inviting and hospitable. I was allowed to daily select my breakfast from a number of options--I swear the cioccolato cornetto is as homemade as the macchiato! And breakfast was served on a rolling cart outside my door. I'd been traveling for four weeks and more than anything I wanted to wash clothes upon arrival. The owner saw to this and dried and folded my clothes. I am ever so grateful. The building itself is extraordinary--aging, as are we all, grand and palatial. My room was extraordinarily large with palazzo-high ceilings and palazzo-large windows. The bathroom, like the bedroom, was large. The air conditioning is simple to operate and works wonderfully. A refrigerator and freezer allowed me to buy a bottle of Martini and Rossi Bianco and a small bottle of limoncello for drinking in the evening. When the owner saw my bottle of Bianco, she returned with a tray upon which were two glasses and an ice tray. I have never encountered this level of humanity in a lodging establishment. A choice location, Anima Partenopea is at the east end of a street (Via dei Tribunali) that runs parallel to and is immediately north of Spaccanapoli. Piazza Garibaldi and Napoli Centrale are about fifteen minutes away. Twenty minutes down Via dei Tribunali in the opposite direction the street runs into Via Toledo, and from there, one can easily reach innummerable sites: Castel Nuovo, Piazza del Plebiscito & Palazzo Reale di Napoli, Castel dell' Ovo, and Galleria Umberto I.

The location is central and that’s where it ends

There seems to be no privacy, we felt like we are couch surfing . Our room was comfortable however we didn’t have facilities such as kettle or iron board etc. our room had a sliding door with a lock and key opening to the main hallway which is a common area so there was no sense of privacy as we felt like our conversations could be heard when people walk past the hallway . To be honest it Felt like we were boarding at someone’s house . Hence I feel it wasn’t worth what we paid for

The breakfast was divine and brought to us on a cart in our room. The host baked homemade Sfogliatella and other pastries were warm out of the oven! The cappuccino was great and everything they served was so plentiful and special. They were so warm and friendly, I felt like I was with family. The location was execellent, too.

It is in a very old building with a big iron gate at the front and a towering ceiling in the lobby but I guess that is part of the charm. But I felt safe and it was very conveniently located.

We had a wonderful stay! The room is spacious and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. It is located in an old beautiful building with an elevator and the location was perfect right near the old town with shops and bars and restaurants with delicious pizza! The mother and son hosts were absolutely delightful, and the homemade breakfast brought to our room was delicious. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Naples.
