We felt lucky to score a hotel with a view of the Astronomical clock and Piazza Signore. Good windows and shutters kept out almost all of the noise of this popular place at night and we had no trouble sleeping- if you are a light sleeper you may want earplugs just in case. The room was lovely. Nice bathroom/ shower (the water can be too hot so be careful). Owners are very nice and helpful. It is a historic townhouse not a hotel so it did not include a full breakfast - but they did a nice job of providing coffee, milk, yogurt, juice (along with packaged pastries) for a great simple breakfast that we enjoyed with a view.

A really nice property in a wonderful location. Rooms were clean, location was easy to find and the manager and housekeeping staff were warm and welcoming. View of the plaza below was unbelievable and it was a real treat to watch the local life move past outside the huge windows. Being above a main busy plaza did lead to some extra noize one of the nights so if you expect silence after 10pm this might not be the best choice for you. We loved being in the middle of it all. Bathroom was nice with a huge sink and excellent AC. Included breakfast is packaged pastry and a Nespresso type machine in the room. Fine for us but not any kind of full service american style breakfast. No elevator and our room was on one of the upper floors. Again fine for us, but might be a big challenge for anyone who can't do stairs. Entrance was off the main square with a simple door and code and was not set up as a true hotel with 24/7 staff on site.

Would have liked an elevator but this is way overshadowed by staying in an awesome historic building in the center of an incredible historic city.

Being right at the heart of the old town with many historic buildings around. The markets in the pizza changed into bars at night. You could walk to anywhere in Padova from here.

The only issue with the building is that there is no lift. But it's a historic old building and they advertise it as such on the website. It would be tough for anyone who physically struggled to carry cases to the top floors, but the owner and his wife both helped carry out bags, even though we could manage ourselves.

The room was chic, comfortable, and pretty. The location is amazing! Right on the square next to the clock tower! There is a permanent market with fresh meats, fish, fruits,vegetables, pastas, sweets, breads, and cheeses! There was an outside market with low-priced clothing, ceramics, leather goods, etc. In the squares in front of the hotel and in the adjoining next plazas the three days we were there. Owner Paolo and Olga were so helpful and kind! They went out of their way to help us. We will definitely go there again!!!!! Karla Peska

This house is in one of the most beautiful central squares in Padova. Our room was on the top floor, with no lift, but our host was kind enough to carry our bag upstairs on arrival and so it wasn't a problem.He was very friendly & helpful. The room was clean & comfortable and had good aircon. There was a kettle & fridge and tea, coffee & sweet treats if you wanted a snack. It is a house with rooms let out to guests, rather than a hotel.

No complaints, but next time, I think I'd book a room opening onto the square, as it would be a lovely view.. It is a lively square and could possibly be noisy, but we were not disturbed in our room at the back of the property.

I loved everything. Mr Paulo who greeted us is an excellent person. Friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to everywhere. Easy way to reach the hotel: Take the Padova bus from Venice airport. After getting off at Padova bus station, take the U6 or U10 bus. Get off at the Piazza dell'Insurrezione stop. (3rd stop after the bus takes off) . Walk 200 meters from the hotel. ticket one person 1.30 € 10 € if you prefer a taxi from Padova bus station. The hip hop Padova sightseeing bus passes right in front of the hotel. All you have to do is raise your hand to get on. You can tour the whole padova with an audio guide for 8 euros. The tour takes about 20 minutes. My advice: tour with this bus, then tour the same places on foot.By the way, there is an award-winning ice cream shop under the hotel, you must try it. When you leave the hotel, walk 20 meters to the left and you will see a small pizzeria. Cheap and excellent pizzas.

There is nothing I dislike.

The location of Diamantino right in the center of town couldn't be better! It's right on Piazza dei Signori with a direct view of the beautiful Astronomical Clocktower and the Piazza. I had an elegant and very clean room on the third floor with a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom (for Italian standards). If you want to stay in a typical Italian townhouse, then this is the right choice. The owner was super friendly and flexible with my check-out, since I unexpectedly needed to stay a bit longer and couldn't check out at the agreed upon time.

I was a bit disappointed with the breakfast, which consisted of a coffee maker, a small bottle of peach juice and a plastic-wrapped overly sweet pastry. I think it would be better to not advertise the place with breakfast. Everything else was great!

Outstanding location right on the Piazza dei Signori. The entire hotel is nicely decorated with an interesting series of paintings decorating the walls.

The location does not have an elevator so one has to climb the narrow stairs which can be difficult with heavy luggage. In fairness, this is a very old, narrow building, so it simply would not have been possible to add an elevator.

The check in is complicated if u don't have a local phone. U have to call the owner and get the password to enter. For us it was a very expensive call.then we had to walk up 6 floors with suitcases. This was extremely.difficult.for people.over.70. one should get a warning?? Not fair

Great welcoming! The room was comfortable, clean and well organized. Despite the position on a very busy square, the room was very quiet. Excellent position to visit the best places in padova.

I would offer a voucher for a breakfast in a nearby bar, rather than having coffee machine and pre-packed croissants in the room.
