Beautiful property on the first floor, very close to the train station, ideally situated for walking into Palermo or getting about to other parts of Sicily from the station. Wonderful, comfortable and spacious bedroom, extremely comfortable bed, small balcony with flowers (shame about the view - the building across the road), plenty of space for belongings, small fridge in the room and a safe provided. The bathroom was beautiful, the best on our trip throughout Italy. Also a small kitchen area provided for all guest to share, with a coffee machine, flavoured teas, microwave and a cake when we arrived. Easy self check-in with excellent communication from the hosts throughout.

Nothing about the property that we didn't like but a suggestion: a shelf in the shower would be handy for the shampoo, shower gel etc, as it's awkward having these on the floor.

Good location and friendly personel

Poor shower pressure and noisy neighbours, they finished drilling at midnight and started at seven. You cannot properly sleep.

I loved this little hotel. The room I had was relatively small but had air conditioning elegantly arranged furniture and the bathroom was very nice and modern. Everything was very clean. Antonella who greeted me upon arrival was very nice and although I don't speak Italian she explained everything using English and google translate. Do not be fooled by the exterior appearance of the building and area! Inside it is very nice. The location is ideal for site seeing by foot. I visited many sites in the city walking. If you are looking for a place to sleep in Palermo that is affordable, clean and has nice staff, then this is excellent value.

During my stay there was some construction going on in the building which was noisy after 9am. But I had gotten up by then so not really a problem.

What we liked most was that it was clean, the rooms big enough and tall and the bathroom big. We also apprecieted the common space and the coffee kindly offer in the morning.

Unfortunately, our stay coincided with the renovation of an apartment on the very next floor - in no way the fault of our host. Unfortunately, the pillows did not satisfy us at any accommodation unit in Sicily (3).

Antonella (the landlady) was very polite and helpful. The place was very clean. There was a kithen with all sorts of coffee, tea, and snacks that were for free. At the centre of Palermo but very close to train and bus stations. Very good price. I would totally recommend it.

I was a little bit unhappy because my late check-in was 25 more euros but at the end i didn't care because everything else was great.

The appartment is very near the train station and near the city center. The host welcomed us with cakes and offered us cards for a good breakfast to a cafe near our location. Inside is very clean. I strongly recommend to test the ice cream from a local producer, Ciccio, near our location.

Not all the house rules were written or explained to us from the begining.

The rooms were really clean and the staff was super helpful. There was also air conditioning, it really hepled us sleep. The bathroom was also super clean and everything was working properly. We were really close to the main train station, which also came in handy :)

I guess the street, where the accomodation is, isn’t exactly pretty but it didn’t bother me that much.

Extremely good value. It is spottlessly clean and very recently updated . The shower is reallly nice with rain shower head as well as the usual handheld nozzle. The bed is super comfortable and the room is generously sized, as is the kitchen. It is less than 5 minute walk to the train station which is especially good if you have an early morning train. The kitchen is good, espresso maker is easy to use and makes good coffee Lastly, the lady is very helpful .

B&B Josephine was a great choice of ours. Close to train station without hearing the noises from it, clean room/bathroom and common spaces, and the breakfast from nearby cafe wasn't that bad. We were free to choose 1 of the pastries in offer and 1 cup of coffee. The cafe also provided Gluten-free option after managing with the hostess. Hostess doesn't speak much English, but communication wasn't bad with google translator. We got what we need to know without having further problems. By the way, the room is with Amazon prime ;)

None, it was all good and clear. A little suggestion for the property to have enough coins when travelers pay in cash. It wasn't a big amount of money that we overpaid for city tax...

Wonderful stay! Great location, just a couple minute walk from the Central Station for easy train and bus connections. We were able to easily walk to all of the local markets and tourist destinations. Room looked brand new -- very modern and clean. The owner is so sweet and helpful. She speaks a little English, but her use of Google Translate made it super easy for us to communicate. NOTE: The booking.com listing mentions a 'buffet or Italian breakfast' but, due to COVID, they offer you a 'breakfast ticket' that you can use at a nearby restaurant instead (we did not use it, opting to eat street food at one of the local markets). We would ABSOLUTELY stay here again!!
