Hotel Villa Archirafi

Very kind and welcoming staff, who got me a dairy free breakfast on request and didn't complain when my flight was delayed and I had to check in at 1am! Clean room with soap and shampoo provided. Comfy bed. Good solid windows to shut out the noise, which is important in the city centre. Good location, easy walking distance from the central station.

it's a typical house in a typical and attractive middle class sicilian neighborhood. It's a relative short walk from the train station (about 1 km in street full of shops) very pleasant if you don't carry big bags. Very convenient to walk also to the bus in front of the station which take you to downtown Palermo Fantastic balconies from the rooms with views to the main streets and an interior nice patio. Such houses have now mostly disappeared in that area around the station replaced by apartment complexes, however even that is nice because you can walk around the shops where sicilians from palermo shop not tourists.

The balcony is gorgeous and great place to people watch in main streets, but is a bit dilapidated, needs to be better maintained. If you are carrying large bags from train station then you need to take a taxi as the walk is short but not that short. Problem is taxis are scarce passing by on those streets as it is not the center of palermo, The center starts at the station,

The location was perfect, within walking distance to the centre of Palermo, and the area was quiet. The parking (in the centre of the city!) is a huge advantage of this hotel. The room was clean. The area with tables, armchairs, and pianos downstairs was a nice perk.

It was quite noisy in the morning (I was woken up by a dog barking outside of my room's door every day). It was hard to use the shower without flooding the entire bathroom (and judging by the state of the ceiling in the bedroom, it was a problem in other rooms as well).

The hotel and experience as a whole far exceeded my expectations. The hosts were warm and friendly and happy to offer any advice about visiting the city. The room was spotless, spacious and made up each morning. Lovely continental breakfast too, and the small garden area was perfect for reading. The free Wifi was the best I've experienced in a hotel (I only needed to connect once) and the location was fantastic, just a few minutes from Palermo Central Station and the main attractions. Will return if I can!

The room had a balcony, which overlooked the botanical gardens: nice view and rather quiet for a city like Palermo. The staff at the reception were always around and available to help. There was a fridge in the room, and the AC unit was *not* located directly above the bed so we didn't catch a cold :) The location was also nice, close to the seaside promenade and within walking distance of the city center.

When we checked into the room, there was no toilet paper (although it was immediately provided to us as soon as we pointed that out at the reception). Sometimes, you could hear voices in the corridor, but not too loud.

The hotel is a treasure in the area to the right of the railway station. The building is very nice. Very nice staff, the room is air-conditioned, the hotel has an elevator to the floors. It has a beautiful garden. The building is not modern, but there is no problem with cleanliness or equipment. The hotel is just around the corner from the train station. The room was pleasant, our window overlooked the garden. The bed was super comfortable. The air conditioning cooled the whole room, it was very pleasant during the day and at night even though it was 40 degrees outside.

tremendously good value. Management Nino and Pietro were very accommodating, available to assist whenever needed. Our room had everything we needed and it was spotlessly clean . Although in a very busy noisy city it was a quiet little oasis behind its big gate.

This hotel is well located, was within walking distance to various points of interest. The room was very spacious, we slept comfortably and it was quiet. The parking was adequate for a long car. The only thing I would recommend is to install heating in the bathroom. We were able to heat the room with the air-conditioning, but it was really cold in the bathroom.

The location was great for us as we arrived and left by bus. The room was large, had a very nice little balcony and was very quiet. The breakfast was quite good. The hosts were helpful and very accommodating. We. have already booked additional nights for our return to Palermo in a couple weeks!

Good sizes of rooms and a beautiful terrace as bonus, very quiet and a good location for shopping.

I would like a kettle in my room because I wake up very early and would like to have my coffee. Breakfast and coffee available downstairs at 7.30 which is a bit late for me.
