Balate Maqueda B&B0

We stayed 3 nights in this nice B&B. It is located in a very busy street but the soundproof window was letting no noise in. Everything was exceptionally clean, a lady would come every day to clean again everything. This is the most important thing that I appreciated. The air conditioning was working fine, there was an african heat in Palermo in these days and you could die without an air conditioner. Breakfast is also very nice, Andrea is very responsive and available for any question or requirement. Location is also great. we had a very nice and comfortable stay, we will return if we visit Palermo again.

Excellent location, right on the main street. Wonderful host. Clean and comfortable rooms with plenty of space. We arrived early and we were able to store our bags and were offered coffee and breakfast. Although breakfast wasn't available onsite on the morning we were there, we were provided with vouchers for the local restaurant. We would definitely stay again.

Generally, everything was great. There was a lot of noise in the street throughout the night that woke us but this isn't the fault of the accommodation. Just something to note for the front rooms on a Saturday night.

well located in the centre of Palermo. We didn't meet the owner (Andrea) in person, but he sent us all the necessary information including a video. The room was cute with a little balcony facing via maqueda. There are new, soundproof windows so you don't hear anything from outside. All the main sights are in walking distance.

The cushions could be a bit bigger. They were really slim, so didn't sleep too well that night. But that's the only thing which could be improved.

The room has a nice balcony, very clean and the staff is super nice. The B&B is extremely close to Teatro Massimo, Vucciria, Ballarò and Mercato del Capo. I think it was perfectly located. You can either pay for private parking or search in the nearby area. The host is remarkably helpful and he answer immediately on WhatsApp. I for sure will be back again and choose the BnB Balate Macqueda

Breakfast, a traditional European with meats, cheeses, pastries, juices. & coffee/tea. Location central and easy to access all of the key historic sights. Fyi. it is very noisy, as the street scene is active until the early hours right below the windows.

Late check in was a little rough,: first locating the accommodations and our toom was not as requested. The following day we reconciled the rooms and all was good

Everything :) The apartament is in the very center of Palermo, which is exactly what we wanted. There is always available drinking water and snacks in there, which was really usefull. Andrea helped us with the parking which is in a private parking lot, a few minutes from the apartament. Everything was clean and cozy. Thank you Andrea :D we really loved it

The modern apartment was super , breakfast was very good and fresh.

You have to leave the key with the parker and since the ambiance didnt look safe i was scared to do so. Andrea offered me another parking, even though ot was outside the car was totally safe as for the whole 3 days we found the car in the same condition. Refrigirator in the room doesnt work.

Excellent location in walking distance to everywhere. Very nice building. The windows to the street are soundproof, blocking the noise from the busy road very well (however, other guests can be noisy since the place is located in the middle of the "party" road). The kitchen is equipped with free items (water, fruit, snacks). Because of COVID-19, breakfast wasn't served at the location - instead, vouchers are handed out to get a coffee and a cornetto at a café one block away. Recommended!

Everything was perfect! The owner, Andrea, let us come early to leave our luggage before check in and not only made us excellent cappuccinos, he gave us breakfast! The food was excellent! The rooms were spacious, and the loft (treehouse as my 4-year-old called it) was magical. The location was right in the Centre of town.

We loved everything!

Staff was friendly and welcoming. Everything was clean, breakfast in cafe was good (coffee and bun of your choice). But you can get snacks, coffee, juices etc. in the hotel any time and use kitchen as well. I was super happy about that. Hotel is right in the city center, just downstairs on the street you can find many shops and restuarants, but it is not noisy in the room. Railway station and market is 10 min away.

Our heater didn't work but maybe we just didn't know how to use it right.
